If they want to invest in Nigeria, they should invest in local production and manufacturing not retailing or trading as there will be an exclusive list that forbids foreigners from opening retailing or trading business in Nigeria unless they will be ready to make Nigerians the majority owner of the business with at least 70% ownership, and a Nigerian citizen by birth must be the MD of such trading or retail business. Ladies "rig" your food at à la carte, events and restaurants when they serve you if you're goodlooking and fine like me.
Ladies protect your right without your request if you're cute and reserved like me.
Ladies shield you from queries when you break regulations if they are assigned to supervise a task that you're part of if you're handsome and unbothered like me.
If you're classy and have sex appeal, like me, wealthy ladies volunteer to fund your life. I stun them by appreciating their offers but rejecting them. It makes them go crazy.
If you're beautiful, humble and decent like me, elderly women in control favour you unusually and try to link you up with their daughters.
Always wear that smile.
CONS
Men just stare at you. You can't tell if they wish to be like you, if they're just admiring or they envy you.
When you don't reciprocate random attention from ladies, they're quick to dismiss you as proud and arrogant. (However, you can make them keep favouring you by acting naive, shy and stupid in an intelligent way if you're not going to reciprocate their attention).
You're more likely to be useless in life and less richer than less attractive boys- facts. I'm really worried.

So, if Nigeria is built well, as you rightly desire. The Ekweremadu’s concern would not be on where to do the transplant. Their concern will still remain foremost, which is to get a donor. In this Nigeria of your dream, the boy’s two kidney will have been yanked off.

A random Twitter user writes a tale out of the figment of his imagination then moderators push it to the front page of Africa's Largest forum as facts.
This write-up is trash. The Twitter user has no detailed idea about the case.
For instance, court records indicate that 8000 pounds was the price agreed for the kidney and the middle-man doctor was to get about 1,000 pounds as his cut. There's no 4.5 million naira anywhere.
There's a medical counselling session for donors to make them understand the implication of organ donation and what life after organ donation looks like. For example, if they can afford the drugs that would keep them healthy or a lifestyle that will not shorten their lifespan or damage the sole kidney left. To the doctors, the boy's responses revealed a situation where he could not afford life after donation, especially, because he's not a British citizen who is guaranteed free healthcare by taxpayers courtesy of the NHS.
There's need to revamp educational institutions in this country. This random Twitter post will become truth to Nigeria's low-iq population.
A shame. |

As a practitioner of the law, I put out a balanced comment yesterday commending the sentencing of the trio of Ekweremadu, his wife, and the middle-man doctor as fair enough. I also hailed the victim as the hero of the conviction. It clearly means that I'm neither in support of Ekweremadu breaking the laws of the United Kingdom nor the ethics of organ donation.
However, I strongly condemn the lies told against him, especially, that he embezzled 400- 500 million naira budgeted for the development of a renal facility in Enugu state. The assertion is a rumour and completely false.
I also reject the misinformation that Nigeria lacks hospitals that can treat kidney ailments or perform kidney transplant surgeries. Kidney transplant surgeries are done in Nigeria. However, it's the discretion of a patient to get treated where they're comfortable at.
As a human being, Ekweremadu was assaulted in Germany by IPOB members resident in the country when he visited. You do not expect him to bring his precious daughter who was a postgraduate student in the UK before she fell ill to the South East for a kidney transplant when his family is under threat by the same organisation that are killing government agents and institutions in the region. It is not a good security decision.
Still on the issue of "medical tourism", natal mortality rate has reduced in Nigeria over the years but average Nigerian families with a few millions to spare deliver their babies abroad. I'm not talking about multimillionaires but random Nollywood actresses who also criticize elite politicians for going abroad. You don't even need to be rich to have a child abroad because three of my cousins who aren't wealthy had their babies in the US. Osinbajo, on the other hand, had his recent surgery in Nigeria. I know the Lagos hospital where the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has his routine health checkup and receives treatment. Public figures need privacy during trying times and letting Sonia have a transplant in Nigeria will not only expose her to security hazards but would terribly invade the family's privacy that they deserve to enjoy.
When you say mean things about the Ekweremadus because Sonia didn't get treatment in Nigeria, you're indirectly saying that we should support unethical organ businesses in Nigeria which is far from international acceptable practices because it is not tolerated in developed countries that have respect for human rights.
In conclusion, do not hate people because you're not living their lives. Draw you long ears and say to yourself "Jealousy will not kill me" 😂. Work hard to afford foreign education, healthcare, vacation and residency for yourself and offspring instead. |

Their success rate can reach up to 80%. And St. Nicholas Hospital attributes this to the precautions taken to avoid organ rejection and to ensure the patient's stability before surgery.
