Hello, I'm a bit confused and wouldnt want to fall for African magic (jazz) so, i'll appreciate your comments on this:

Last year, a female colleague and subordinate of mine was[b] engaged in a fraudulent act which i uncovered[/b]. in the course of further in vestigation, it was discovered that she had fetish/jazz backings  .Normally, the consequence for her act was suspension and/or sack but due to some legs, pleas (and jazz?) she was only relocated to another branch to remove attention from her.

Late  last year, i was also transfered as supervisor to the same branch and I do have reservations about working with her.I believe she is aware of this as she acts scared,wimpy and very meek around me. As her supervisor,again, I try to make the work environment ok for her but forgeting her past action  hasnt been easy.

About 3 weeks ago, she started giving me the green light, acting nice and sweet and showering me with attention and I am suspicious.

Last weekend, she willing offered to visit my slaughter house place and I had to cook up an excuse to prevent her visit. Even before I started my post, I just recieved her call, she is re-scheduling the visit!

This lady is beautifully-hot and  fetish. 'I dey see danger', what do you suggest I do

It's the culture. It's not easy growing up in the Nigerian society where holding hands with a guy who's not your brother can cause your poke nosing neighbour reporting you to your parents and exaggerating the whole situation. Most twenty something year old girls can't even introduce their boyfriends to their parents. I think the Nigerian women are still suffering from this. The attitude comes across as snobbish but they just need someone to tell them to relax.

I remember a time where my mom's friend's son came to look for me in the night back in Nigeria and we started chatting till 11pm in front of my house. My mom was like what the heck are you doing, you better come inside and stop disgracing yourself".
Another time he came, my mom was there and he greeted me, I just pretended I did not notice. Later on my mom was like "What you did was very bad. Why can't you answer a greeting? There's nothing wrong in smiling and saying hi to a guy".
I thought she said I should stop disgracing myself the other time.
Anyway I learned to be nice and smile with guys and be approachable.

Did you people read the "Edit" notes under the OP's initial post?

JeSoul is one of the (few?) practicing Christians I have met here on Nairaland, and she did not really mean Ungodly or unholy. She meant it "in quote", so-to-speak. Some people see the SOS as unholy, and that was what she meant. If you really read through the consequent posts, you will see that people just DID NOT get her point. And neither did the three of you.

I speak for her because I know that is not her mindset.
