sum1 just told me my good friend bawomolo is dead, i said to myself, if this is a joke this chic better stop it ooo but lo and behold the story is for real. i am shocked beyond words and still can't fathom why this happened. i been away from NL for a very long time so i felt it is only right to come pay my last respect to one great guy who i argue with every time on the NBA threads. i pray that God kills all those that were involved in this wicked act and none related to any of these f00ls will know peace until they rat out their siblings involved. May God give bawomolo's family the strength to bear the lost.

My co-worker told me something yesterday and since we are very close I felt I should help out.

  He met a lady through facebook and they communicated for some time and called each other.he even helped her put in applications to many fimrs that advertised vacancy.The babe,from what my co-worker told me,is some one that is looking for a seriouse relationship and he told her that he is not ready but the babe keeps cajoling him and giving him instances of relationships that did not start well but later became better.

   Last month he travlled to Lagos for his leave and on his way back to uyo he branched to see the lady in Edo who had been pleading with him to see her.From the converstaion my friend saved on yahoo and face book I found out my self that the lady is in Love with him even without seeing him in person.On several occasion she had sent love text messages and also most of their phone calls the guy recorded it and he played them to me.

I have been dating this girl for the last 2 years now and she is just the right girl for me. The only problem I have is that my family/friends are doing their damdest to hook me up with a Nigerian. I'm AA and am married to an Nigerian girl, though she was born and raise her whole life here, and her sister is also married to an AA guy, as is one of her female cousins, but they all were born here and I think that is where the big difference lies in this situation.

A first generation African just does not evolve into American society as fast as the African men do, and thus feel less secure about getting involved with the unfamiliar. As for the second and and beyond generation of Africans here, well they were born and raised here and thus are generally, for the most part, assimilated into the greater AA conglomerate and thus connect with the AA better than the FOB.

bottom line, the 2nd and beyond generation of africans born and raised here don't know any better, point taken! thanks for sharing
