You can send e-copies to them in the same way you'll upload your LLB certificate(before you get to the payment page). I considered this initially before deciding to send via my school and that's because there's a section on the ECA report where they'll state how the transcript was authenticated. I believe it should read that your school verified it.
So if you're uploading directly by yourself to them, make sure your school will be able to authenticate it by email .
Kacek:
thank you so much,I have heard about submitting electronic copies through fax, please how will I go about that? Thank you
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Naaomi(f): 7:36am On Oct 13, 2020
It takes them 3 weeks plus to acknowledge receipt of your transcript and a month (sometimes more or less) to complete evaluation.
Kacek:
Please how long does it take for IQAS evaluation for LLb and any changes in their procedures post-covid..I already made the mistake of evaluating with Wes and would now want to start IQAS evaluation. thank you

They acknowledged mine on Monday; after over 3 weeks. Just give them some more time. You can also follow up with a mail.
Debbieeeeeee:

Thank God o. They’ve still not acknowledged my package o till date since the 22nd. I can’t even get my school to send pdf copy to them because what I’m hearing now is NASU strike.

If you've actually done the bolded, you'd have your answer.
Anyway, people talk of taking the BCS exam when they only have a bachelors (not masters) and this is to increase their CRS points. If you have HND and BSC, you already have 2 or more certificates that can be evaluated by WES.
MTFindout:
Hello people,

I see pple mentioning BCS exam and others. Please is it that HND or BSC can't be evaluated by WES.

Its confusing me.. After reading the epistle of EE and ECA. Please help me, so i can knw what to do?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Naaomi(f): 5:03pm On Oct 08, 2020
I think you're mixing things up. Professional degree talked of there is not COREN.
patdman:

On the IRCC site it states "a professional degree required to practice in a licensed profession"; COREN fits that. Thanks

You don't pay to create an EE profile. You pay when you are submitting your documents after ITA.
NairaLuck:
Please I want to understand, do you need to pay to have an Express entry profile or you can just create one? Or is the payment done when you get an invitation to apply ITA?

Your POF should not be a loan. If they suspect it is, your application will be rejected.

Is there an issue if it’s a loan?

#PersonalOpinion #NotAnElderSeniorOrNOCGuru

I believe you can go with the lead statement for paralegals only. Just as you would go for the duties listed under paralegal only and not bother with notary etc. They have already bifurcated 4211 into 4 jobs already so just pick yours and ensure it matches JD.

NOC Elders, please advice. Where the LEAD STATEMENT of the NOC refers to more than one profession like NOC 4211 for paralegals, notary publics and other occupations, can I take only the part of the lead statement talking about paralegals and leave out the rest since it encompasses more than one profession?
Thank you. @mamaroon and others please help.

I'm just a beginner at the EE journey and only able to answer some questions because I've read quite a lot. Which takes us back to, I'm not sure I would be of much help.

You may need to research this from the respective threads on nairaland and make an informed decision for yourself.

Try NOC 4211 and see if it's a fit - Paralegal and other related occupations.
Some in house lawyers have also used 4112 so they can guide too. Hopefully they see your post.
Debbieeeeeee:
Please a quick one for lawyers who aren’t into litigation and work with State or federal government agencies , what NOC suits the job description the most because 4112 or so doesn’t suit my job description as I don’t work in a firm and neither do I take on those responsibilities listed.
I work in The capacity of an in house lawyer but I’ve not come across any NOC that fits My job description up to 70 percent or even 80 percent at all , I’ve tried to use all sorts of words in the search box embarassed

Thanks for the reply, I guess I’m going to try WES with a detailed LOE since A bachelors of Law is a bachelors of Law and according to CIC, a professional degree. I have a one year paid experience and also have a sister who’s a PR. I stand on 471 with my simulated score.

So which possible alternative to your LLB certificate are you considering? I gather you are a current NLS student, do you have at least 1 year (preferably 3 years) work experience?
Hamza05:

Hi it seems you’re a lawyer and thanks for the heads up, I’m currently in NLS and I don’t think I can get my LLB certificate anytime soon that’s why I’m looking for every possible alternative. I would love to get to know you if you don’t mind by the way, thank you.

As long as there are cars in Canada, there will be a demand for mechanics but please see https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp to determine your eligibility as there are other factors (asides demand) to consider.

The people that operate that twitter account will not be the visa officer working on your application.
If WES does not evaluate your degree as Masters equivalent, be careful not to claim same.

You can use WES. But please research on which one you think is best for you.
Taal17:

Thanks for responding

MSc Energy is what I want to verify, from Engineering dept

I did check page 1 - it gave the different institutions that evaluate, I went to each website and checked

I just noticed people here referenced WES a lot more

What did you study? Different courses/degrees have different ECA institutions that favour them.
Better still, you may want to check page 1 of Part 9 for a breakdown.
Taal17:

Hello everyone

Any answers on this?

I calculated my work experience to be about 34 months = 2.9 years.
Any idea if it will be counted as 2 years experience or 3 years experience?

You don't need WAEC and NECO for IQAS. They only request for the transcript to be sent to them by your school. I don't think they send a verification mail like WES.
