Actor and Musician Banky W has reacted to the numerous suicide reports that fills the news on a daily basis

Following the recent suicide by a lady on the 3rd main land bridge Lagos, the singer has advised people to reach out to psychiatric centers when they are depressed

He shared the various centers in Nigeria and wrote:

I just heard the heartbreaking news about the young lady who committed suicide by jumping off the 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos... Barely 48 hours after we discussed Anthony Bourdain.
This is a list of all the regional psychiatric centres in Nigeria (thanks @mocheddah). Please reach out and talk to someone. If you're dealing with depression, it is not ridiculous. It is not something you should be ashamed of. If you feel like you're done, and you have nothing left to live for, please believe that you are wrong.. Please talk to someone. Nigeria, Morocco Sign Agreements On Regional Gas Pipeline, Chemical Plant, Agric Training

The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Kingdom of Morocco on Monday in Rabat, Morocco, signed three agreements, which includes a regional gas pipeline that will see Nigeria providing gas to countries in West Africa sub-region that extend to Morocco and Europe.

The signing of the agreements, witnessed by President Muhammadu Buhari and King of Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed V1, followed a meeting between the two African leaders that focused on strengthening economic relations in gas resource development, global investments and agricultural training and management.

The feasibility study of the agreement on the pipeline, which was signed by the Group General Manager, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Farouq Said Garba, and Mrs Amina Benkhadra, Director General of the National Office of Hydrocarbon and Mines, will be concluded by July 2018.

The construction of the pipeline will be phased and based on increasing needs of the countries crossed, and Europe, for the period of 25 years.

The Nigeria Morocco Gas Pipeline (NMGP), designed to be 5,660km long, will reduce gas flaring in Nigeria and encourage diversification of energy resources in the country, while cutting down poverty through the creation of more job opportunities.

The NMGP will further encourage utilisation of gas in the sub-region for cooking, and discourage desertification.

At the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Nigeria Sovereign Wealth Authority, Mr Uche Orji and the Chief Executive Officer of the Office of the Management of Phosphate in Morocco, Mr Mostafa Terrab signed a Memorandom of Understanding for the development of a chemical plant in Nigeria for producing ammonia and its derivatives.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh and his Moroccan counterpart, Mr Aziz Akhannouch, signed a cooperation agreement on vocational training and technical supervision, which will enhance skills on better management of agricultural outfits in Nigeria.

President Buhari, who was received by a large crowd from the airport to the Rabat Royal Palace, assured the King of Morocco of Nigeria’s full commitment to the actualisation of all the agreements signed.

The Super Eagles players have swagged up in dapper suits as they are set to arrive Russia today for the World cup which will start in a few days time. The players will arrive at their World Cup base camp in Essentuki, Russia in the dapper outfits after departing their Aviva Resort camp, Bad Tatzmannsdorf in Austria.

The Super Eagles had Nigerian football fans worried after losing three matches in a row in warm up friendlies against Serbia, England and Czech Republic.

However, coach Gernot Rohr is optimistic the Super Eagles will raise their game and get a good result.

So go out today pick some veggies and include them into your diet and even if you dislike it so much still try eat some of it or try blending it together with some fruits and get those essential nutriemt into you.

The Governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa has commiserated with the Nigeria music Industry over the death of reggae music icon, Ras Kimono who died on Sunday at the age of 60.

We reported that the ‘Under Pressure’ crooner passed away on Sunday morning in Lagos after a brief illness.

Okowa, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, sent condolences to the music industry and the Onicha Olona community in Delta State over the loss.

He described the deceased as a true music legend, whose songs entertained Nigerians in the 80s.

Governor Okowa noted that the Nigeria music industry benefitted greatly from the contributions of the late musician, who also mentored many younger musicians.

The Abia State Police Command has reportedly arrested a 22-year-old mother identified as Blessing Chukwu, who reportedly sold her baby.

The arrested mother who claimed she already has four children with no husband to cater for them, told the police that she sold her daughter to raise money to train her siblings. The lady who confessed to have been given N190,000 out of the N360, 000 that was paid for the illegal adoption of her baby, while the rest was used to settle her hospital bills, sold her baby girl after delivery in a private hospital in Okigwe, Imo State, three weeks ago.



Following the confession, one Dr Kelechi Omende and his wife, Euphemia, who allegedly facilitated the illegal adoption of the baby in their hospital were arrested. Punch reported that although Dr Omende denied knowledge of the illegal adoption in his hospital, his wife who claimed that the adoption followed due process said;

“One of the women that adopted the baby came with her file from the welfare saying l should inform her whenever there is a baby for adoption.

“When our patients complained that she could not take care of her baby, I called the welfare office to get someone to come and adopt the baby.”

Elizabeth Ukawa who wondered why they were arrested by the police, arguing that she went through the welfare office to adopt the baby, said she adopted the baby for her younger sister, Chinasa.

“I filled a form at the welfare office in Okigwe after explaining my sister’s condition to them. They later called me to come and adopt the baby and I paid N650, 000 for the baby. So, I do not even know why we are here,” she said.

Confirming the arrest of the suspects, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Anthony Ogbizi, said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of police investigation.

Hamza Al-Mustapha, a Former National Security Adviser to Ex-head of state, Hamza Al-Mustapha has finally opened up on the circumstances surrounding the death of M.K.O Abiola.

In a recent Interview, Mustapha revealed that some leaders of NADECO went to Aso-rock to collect millions of dollars from the head of state barely 24 hrs after Abiola's death.

He revealed that Abiola died in Aguda House after taking a cup of tea and also attacked Femi Falana over his recent statements against him, adding that Falana knew nothing about the entire occurrence.

He claimed that he had videotapes of some NADECO leaders when they came to Aso-rock to collect money adding that he was framed over the murder of Kudirat Abiola. He said that those who testified against him in the Kudirat Abiola case were induced with money and various gifts. He revealed that Sergeant Rogers was given a house in Ilorin and received cars intermittently.

A member of the nPDP who became member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the APC, Prince Benjamin Apugo, has assured that their decision to suspend further discussions with the Presidency will not lead them into pulling out of the ruling party.

Apugo who disclosed this to journalists in Umuahia, yesterday, maintained that there was no crack in the APC, saying members of the nPDP needed to coordinate themselves and meet President Muhammadu Buhari over the alleged marginalisation faced by its members.

He also appealed to the president to create presidential liaison offices in non-APC-controlled states; akin to what ex-President Shehu Shagari did during in the Second Republic.

Sequel to the reported death of one Lorren F; identified as the girlfriend to LT.Abubakar Yahaya Yusuf a serving personnel with the Nigeria Navy in his official quarters in Borikiri Port-Harcourt and the subsequent disappearance of the Naval Officer. Operatives of the IGP-Intelligence Response Team swung into immediate action and with the aid of Technical intelligence and unrelenting follow-up by the Operatives, led to the arrest of one Taddues Jaja 'M' 28yrs.

Upon his arrest, Jaja made very graphic confessions on how he murdered Lorren the girlfriend of the Naval Officer during an argument and that In a bid to cover up his crime, he also murdered the unsuspecting officer by poisoning his drink with an overdose of a drug named "Talen" and sent a text message with the late officer's phone to one Joy- a friend of the late girlfriend, stating that the Navy Officer had murdered his girlfriend over a dispute.

Jaja then drove the corpse of the officer to a forest in Ubima and burnt the lifeless body.

The suspect took operatives to the forest where he carried out the dastardly act and the Carcass of the late Naval Officer was found burnt beyond recognition. With the aid of a pathologist, the remains were recovered and deposited at UPTH mortuary.

Exhibits recovered from the suspect include the car of the naval officer which he had already sold to a buyer in Benin city and the Naval Officer phone he sold to another buyer in Port-Harcourt.

Due arrangement will be made to enable Operatives visit the scene of crime which is the official quarters of the deceased Naval Officer. The perpetrator was his houseboy.

Police were shocked after launching a search for a married woman who claimed she was kidnapped and raped, only to find that she had lied so she could spend the weekend with her new boyfriend.

According to reports, on 7th June 2018, the lady identified as Margret Namukose called her husband, told him that she was scheduled to attend a school meeting at Kasangati in Uganda. However when evening reached, she never returned back home and efforts to reach her through her phone were futile.

The worried husband later received a call from his wife telling him that unknown men had kidnapped, raped her and dumped her in a certain forest.

Her husband opened a case of kidnapping case at Kyebando Police Post and police started to search for her by tracing her phone, which was located in Kampala, Uganda.

On 8th June 2018 at around 11:00am she resurfaced and was brought to police by the husband. She allegedly told the police that she had rescued herself and went to a nearby clinic for a check-up. Police went with Namukose to the clinic but there was no record of her visit.

Upon further questioning she confessed that all this time the police were searching for her, she had not been kidnapped, but was enjoying herself in Serena Hotel with her new boyfriend.

Namukose is currently detained at Kira Road Police Station and is to be arraigned before courts of law on charges of giving false information.

According to Bose Alao, the domestic violence is on both sides and which is why they've opted for a therapy. She wrote on Instagram; 

I will be deceiving myself to say nothing happened or pretend I didn't see all published between my husband and I, it has become so overwhelming that I do not know how to handle it anymore, but to start with,everything I read on Instagram was not posted by me or meant for the gram .no. if u follow my husband and I you will know we ain't friends on Instagram for a long time,my WhatsApp is the only place we have each other which was the reason I showed and expressed my hurt on WhatsApp so he could see it, the violence is on both side which is the reason we need therapy and now undergoing because there is no justification to DV.
