Reports suggest that Chelsea have held talks with the agent of Bordeaux’s highly rated winger Malcolm ahead of a move estimated at £44 million.
The 21-year-old attacker attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs in the January transfer window although the Ligue 1 outfit maintained their stance not to sell the player at that point in the season.

However, reports have claimed that the former Corinthians star is available for a fee around £44m and Chelsea appear to be the present favorites to acquire the Brazilian. According to French newspaper Sud-Ouest, the winger’s agent Fernando Garcia has already met with the officials at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will still push for the move regardless of who comes in to replace Antonio Conte at the managerial helm of the club. Malcolm scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances for Bordeaux and has also been rated as one of the top talents in France.
The player had initially hinted on a move to the Premier League back in March as he revealed that he was learning English.
“I have learned the language very quickly, had no big troubles,” he said. ”French was much more difficult.
“So I would manage to live in England. But in the end I can integrate everywhere.”
The player hinted on his career ambitions in an interview with Sky Sports Germany, and has a contract with Bordeaux until 2021.
“I want to play for an elite club in Europe, win the Champions League and play for the Selecao,” Malcom said.
“When I play for a big club, my chances improve. I want to thank Bordeaux for everything.
“I am going to sit down with my agent and family. Together we will make a decision.”
14Ebiscoo: The Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, Mr Osita Okechukwu, has said the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, is free to have the All Progressives Congress.
Okechukwu said this while responding to questions from newsmen at the National Secretariat of the APC, in Abuja, on Monday.
However, one of the conveners of the APC Restoration Coalition in Imo State, Dr. Toe Ekechi, said the VON DG was merely expressing a personal opinion.
Ekechi noted that Okorocha, for now, remained the governor of Imo State and that his support and contribution would be welcome should he decide to continue to support the APC.
Earlier, Okechukwu said the APC was now better positioned to make a greater impact on the South-East with or without the governor.
He expressed confidence that the APC would consolidate on its power come 2019 by winning seats at the executive and legislative levels in state and at the federal levels.
Okechukwu said, “At least, there are more than 60 political parties now, Okorocha is free to join any of his choice. Though we are not forcing him to leave, what we are saying is we have taken the leadership out of his hands because he was playing God.
“He was personalising power, so the majority of the leadership and membership of the APC in the South-East said, ‘thank you, so far so good enough is enough.’
“So, what I am just saying is that he was at liberty to leave the APC but let nobody anywhere think that the APC will lose because we have retrieved the party from him. No, the APC is the winner as a political party.
“Mr President is going to get more votes; we are going to win more parliamentary seats, more governorship seats without him.
“In my place, there is a saying that when a bird is dancing on the main road it means there is a drummer in the bush and I am pointing at the drummer of all that is happening in the South-East. But luckily, the majority, over 90 per cent of the leadership and membership of the APC in the South-East has said enough is enough to our former leader, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.”
APC National Chairman today recognized the candidate of the opposition in Imo APC, Hilary Ekeh as the party chairman dashing the hopes of governor Okorocha.
About 33 elected chairmen of the All Progressive Congress, APC party, were inaugurated by Chief John Odigie-Oyegun led National Working Committee, NWC, of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has directed all service providers in the country to desist from carrying out automatic or unwarranted renewal of data packages without the consent of the subscribers or risk N5million penalty. Its executive vice chairman, Prof Umar Danbatta, made this known at the first episode of NCC Consumer Conversation 2018, held in Karu, Nasarawa State. Eyes Of Lagos gathered that, He said the warning became imperative in view of the mounting complaints from the subscribers against the service providers for breaching the extant rules. Danbatta, who was represented on the occasion by the commission’s director of northern operations, Helen Obi, explained that the complaints received by the commission had risen to an unacceptable level that the commission could no longer delay in issuing the directive against operators engaging in the unlawful act. According to him, besides the N5 million fine that awaits the violation of the law, for every day the commission issues the sanction and the fine is not paid by the service provider, it will attract additional N500,000. “The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, on the May 21, 2018, issued a directive to all network providers to desist from carrying out automatic or unwarranted renewal of data packages without their consent. We have also directed that no mobile service providers should impose their services to consumers. It is expected that they should obtain their consent. “There should be a written text by the network provider to the consumer requesting to know whether the consumer is interested in renewing the package, after that, the network provider must also repeat the process to ensure that the consumer understood the terms and conditions of the service and has given consent before automatic renewal,” he further stated.

Eyes Of Lagos gathered that, The Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions (ASURI) yesterday picketed the Ministry of Science and Technology, where it announced the commencement of a three-day warning strike. The workers said they were carrying out the strike to protest the anti workers activities by the permanent secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, Mrs. Amina Shamki. The angry workers who converged early yesterday morning to picket the headquarters of the science ministry at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja, therefore demanded the immediate removal of Mrs. Shamki as permanent secretary of the ministry. Addressing newsmen, the secretary general of ASURI, Dr. Theophilus Ndubuaku, said should their demands not be met at the expiration of the warning strike, the workers will be forced to commence a full strike action. According to him, Shamki has not only refused to recognise three chief executives of the most important research institutions appointed by the minister in NASENI, NBTI and NABDA, but has also remained a stumbling block to the conduct of promotion exercises expected to have been conducted since last year. “This is to inform you that the Central Working Committee (CWC) of ASURI has given approval for all ASURI branches to embark on total nationwide warning strike and picketing of Federal Ministry of Science and Technology (FMS&T) with effect from Monday, June 4, 2018. “The strike is to protest the series of outrageous unfair labour practices and disregard for harmonious labour relations on the part of the FMS&T in snubbing all entreaties of ASURI to address all acts of injustice suffered by our members at NABDA and BIODEC and refusal to conduct 2017 promotion exercises in many research institutions. “If by Wednesday we do not see any positive action from government, we are at liberty to continue our strike. We have given them notice since last year, we had a strike concerning this and we had an agreement with government but it has not been honoured, the permanent secretary is still there causing confusion. “Many of our research institutions cannot conduct their promotion exercise because the permanent secretary insists she must be the one to conduct those promotion exercises. That is not normal, how can you as Perm Sec be running all over the place conducting interviews. “Directors conduct those interviews and so because she wants to be there and does not have the time, the interviews cannot hold and she doesn’t care whether the promotion interviews are conducted or not. This is so discouraging, we have researchers who are frustrated because they are not being promoted. “She is not concerned with the welfare of workers, she is killing the mission and vision of the ministry especially technology promotion. Remove her and replace her with someone who understands this ministry, someone who will obey the directives of the minister and government so that we can have peace,” he said.
No fewer than 20 billion sticks of cigarettes are consumed annually in Nigeria, Minister of Health Prof. Isaac Adewole said yesterday. . . Adewole noted that 4.5 million adults, which is 5.6 per cent of the population, presently use tobacco products. About 82 per cent of the entire population are exposed to second-hand smoke when visiting bars/night clubs. . . He noted that 6.4 million adults (29.3 per cent) are exposed to second hand smoking when visiting restaurants. Adewole spoke yesterday at a news briefing organised to mark the 2018 World No-Tobacco Day celebration in Abuja. . . The minister added that a recent studies among University of Abuja undergraduates revealed that 33.3 per cent of the students are smokers. . . Adewole said the country is losing $800 million annually to stroke, heart disease and diabetes. In 2015, the minister said the country’s projected accumulated loss to tobacco was put at $7.6 billion, paradoxically. . . Adewole, who also spoke on the trending shisha (flavoured tobacco), said the country would not accept tobacco consumption in whatever disguise. He stressed the need to protect the future of the country. . . He regrettably noted that the tobacco industry makes huge profits without taking responsibility for the harm they do to public health. Explaining that “evidence also shows that for every $1 gain from tobacco business, about $3 is expended on healthcare cost.” . . On the ban on shisha, the minister said: “A key outcome of this review was the ban on all characterising flavours, including the addition of menthol into tobacco products. . . This decision is to protect our children from getting enticed by flavoured tobacco products. Let me stress that the ban on tobacco products with characterising flavours is still in place and the ban includes shisha because it has flavour. . . I therefore urge the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) and the law enforcement agencies to intensify arrest of defaulters. He also noted that the latest tax increase on tobacco products was part of the efforts at controlling tobacco consumption in the country.”

Just the usual EVIL, ENVY, HATE laced with LIES and backed by fake accounts and reckless proxy followers who will soon know better. Is it not the same marriage you crashed yourself by setting the poor guy up and eventually packed out despite sincere pleas. Using failed marriage with your deliberate reckless act to win unnecessary sympathy. Why bring the innocent hardworking lady into this. Now that you hurt her brand badly, you are now claiming it is a joke. You can only fool the gullibles mate.
Is it that hard for you to do, LIVE & LET LIVE. Stop hurting people's brand on social media, must it be you always. NOW UNA DON SEE WHAT AM TALKING ABOUT. Why lies and pull her down when @realmercyaigbe is getting endorsement and should enjoy her shine. Why is @lauraikeji not getting such attack. WE DO NOT NEED THIS IN THE MOVIE INDUSTRY for christ sake. Thank God I know where my own attacks had been coming from after any good effort or positive trending stories. Gosh!
@iyaboojofespris this babe cannot conceal her evil and usual wickedness. Even if they both share same PR and the guy got Mercy an endorsement, pray and work harder. Instead, just yesterday the company expect the brand ambassador to trend for good she brought out a heavy lies and ruined the party for the poor lady. I have said it severally that it is her way to always device one negative thing or the other directly or indirectly to milk her target reputation down. The sad part is she ride on her gullible follower and choose things that will send those ones after her targets. That madness must stop. The industry doesnt need that. How can Mercy at this level ask they pull a stunt as dirty as that terrible allegation and lies. I refuse to be silent over such evil. We dnt want such. The ones done to me is what I am still dragging in Lagos High Court. Ignore those commenting. Most her innocent or ignorant. I cannot help them now. I am not bothered.

“I don’t have any low point apart from my failed marriage. Things were going fine for me until I started having problems with my marriage. It was possible I could have saved it if I had put in more effort but I am also human. Right now, I have grown and I know we all make mistakes as humans. I made my mistakes and she (Kenny Saint Best) must have made hers too. Do you think anyone is perfect?”
He continued;
“For years, I did not put out songs. You would remember that my marriage was in trouble and I broke down emotionally. My doctor didn’t want me to get back to work because of my state of health and mind.
“I lost my marriage and my kids were not with me as well. I had to take a break for my health and my children because different stories were written about me and I didn’t want my kids to grow up with that tension. Even though my music suffered, it was very important for me to take a break at that time.”

tigerex27: Tooth decay also known as cavities is a breakdown of tooth due to acids made by bacteria during the decompsition of sugar in the mouth. If it is left untreated, a cavity or hole may occur. You can easily prevent tooth decay by brushing and flossing your teeth regularly, seeing your dentist for teeth cleaning and checkups also, avoiding foods that are high in sugar. Tooth decay doesn't have to be an insurmountable problem for anyone. With just a little understanding of the basics of tooth decay formation, most people can easily put the issue of having cavities to rest.
Facts on Tooth Decay and Cavities - Approximately 2.3 billion people (32% of the population) have dental caries in their permanent teeth.
- The WHO estimates that nearly all adults have dental caries at some point in time.
- In baby teeth it affects 620 million people or 9% of the population.
- The disease is most common in the developed world due to greater simple sugar consumption and less common in the developing world.
Causes of Tooth Decay The combination of bacteria and food causing tooth decay. A clear, sticky substance called plaque that contains bacteria is always forming on your teeth and gums. As the bacteria feed on sugars in the food you eat, they make acids. The acids attack the teeth for 20 minutes or more after eating . Over a period of time, these acids destroy tooth enamel, resulting in tooth decay. Cavity and tooth decay to watch out for: Poor oral hygiene: You make tooth decay more likely if you don't brush your teeth twice a day in the morning and before bedtime. Eating and Drinking: When you don't floss your teeth each day you eat foods with alot of sugar in them. The longer a sugary foods stays on your teeth, the more the bacteria feed and make acids. Sticky, sweet and sugary foods such as raisins, cake, cookies etc causes the most damage. Insufficient fluoride: Lack of fluoride in the public water supply also makes tooth decay more likely. You can pass the bacteria that cause tooth decay to your baby. This can happen when you share spoons, forks and other utensils with the babies. The saliva you leave on the utensls contains the bacteria.
Signs and Symptoms of Tooth Decay Tooth decay usually does not cause symptoms until you have a cavity or infected tooth. When this occurs, symptoms include; -Toothache which is the most common symptom. An infection or irritation of the tooth pulp usually causes the pain.
-Bad breath or foul taste in the mouth..
- A broken tooth or a tooth that is sensitive to pressure.
-The pain may increase when you eat food with high sugar.
- Severe tooth decay may cause a pus-filled sac (abscess) to form in the bone at the base of a tooth.
Symptoms of abscess Includes; Fever Swollen glands A swollen jaw Deep, throbbing pain
Tooth Decay and Cavity Treatment -Brushing and flossing with fluoride tooth paste and /or receiving fluoride treatments maybe enough to reverse early decay before cavities have formed.
-You need a filling if a cavity has formed. A filling is a material that plugs the cavity hole and restores a tooth to its original shape after your dentist has remove the decay.
- You may neeed a crown if the decay is severe and your tooth is badly damaged. A crown (often called a cap) is a man-made replacement for all or part of a tooth. Crown are also used to treat tooth that have broken or decayed so much that a filling wil not work.
- You may need a root canal treatment if the pulp of your toot is infected. A root canaal removes the diseased pulp of a tooth.
- Extraction of the tooth if the root of the tooth is severly damaged. You may need to replace the tooth with a bridge or animplant.
How to Prevent Tooth Decay and Cavities Limit the intake of sugary foods and drink. Brush more often (adviceably Morning and Night) Floss and rinse daily Protect your teeth with fluoride Visit your dentist for routine cleanings and examination.
Reports suggest that Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to sign Gonzalo Higuain as part of a plan by Juventus to lure Alvaro Morata to Turin.
The Old Ladies are reportedly keen on acquiring Morata and are giving considerations to tempting Chelsea with the Argentine to enable them land the Spaniard.
Morata joined Chelsea last summer and has struggled to make his mark in the Premier League, and it went from bad to worse as he was hit by injuries that restricted him from featuring consistently.
His performance for Chelsea undoubtedly played a part in his exclusion from Spain’s World Cup squad and Juventus might be prepared to offer him a lifeline.
Juventus harbor interest in Morata but must clear the 30-year-old Higuain from their wage bill first. The Argentine who has scored 55 goals since joining from Napoli for £78million in 2016 earns £125,000 weekly.
Meanwhile, Chelsea would seek a replacement for Morata should the move materialize, as the club has also been linked with a move for Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski.
Oche211: See the huge snake i killed in my cousin's church this night.
The church is close to my house and we were setting up the new musical equipment the church bought and testing it late into the night.
After we were done, we decide to play some songs a little. We later put "victory" by Eben on continous play while we danced.
When we were done, he wanted to go put off the generator when he ran back that there's a big snake already in the church going towards the children church. I ran out, found a stick and got back into the church bt i first freaked out when i came face to face with the snake bt had to summon courage when i saw the snake trying to escape.
The first strike caught it well, subsequent ones killed it. We had to burn it even in the rain but it didn't burn completely.
We'll continue the burning tomorrow.
Indeed, God gave us victory.
You killed a snake and gave God glory
The life that you cannot create nor give you extinguished
what if you had allowed the snake live and still give God glory
damiloladuke: The Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, on Saturday has advocated that the Dapchi girl in Boko Haram custody Leah Sharibu should be awarded a Nobel Prize.
The newly inaugurated ECWA President, Rev. Stephen Panya Baba, made the disclosure while delivering his inaugural speech on the occasion of his installation, at the Church’s headquarters in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The ECWA President said:
“The population of persecuted Christians, widows, orphans and vulnerable children and the poor generally in our churches and mission fields has reached astronomical levels.
“Apart from natural causes and other socio-political factors like ethnic and tribal clashes, the murderous activities of radical Islamists like Boko Haram and some Fulani herdsmen who are jihadists, have contributed very greatly to the rise in the number of widows and orphans in many of our churches today.
“We are also still calling for intensified action by the Federal Government to secure the release of the remaining Chibok girls and of recent, Leah Sharibu, who is being held captive by Boko Haram, for the singular reason that she has refused to deny her faith in our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.”
According to him, Leah deserves a Nobel prize for her strength of spirit and courage in the midst of “pain and suffering”.
“We call on the international community to act on behalf of Leah Sharibu like they did Malala Yousfzai.
“Let us remember that peace is merely an illusion unless anchored on the bedrock of justice.
“Without justice in our society peace is a mirage, a fleeting shadow beyond grasp”.
“It is for this reason that I call on governments and authorities at all levels to ensure that justice flows like a river in our land by giving each citizen his or her due inspite of religion, tribe, creed or social standing. That is the real way to peace and progress.
“When this happens, the evils and wickedness that have plagued our country will be eliminated,” Baba stressed.
