Stretch marks are visible lines on the skin surface. They are usually found in the abdominal wall, but can also occur over the thighs, upper arms, buttocks and breasts. Sometimes stretch marks can cover large areas of the body. While pregnancy is the main cause behind stretch marks, other reasons can be sudden gain or loss in weight, rapid growth, and changes in physical conditions. Of course, you will want to get rid of it. Jumia, the online store you can trust, shares ways you can get rid of stretch marks.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera is effective in the treatment of many skin problems. Its healing and soothing properties can be used to get rid of stretch marks. You can directly rub the gel on the affected skin area, leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse the skin with water.
Keep affected area moisturised
Keep the affected area moisturized. It helps deliver concentrated moisture to stretch marks wherever it is located. Use stretch mark creams a few times daily, especially after bathing and before going to bed.
Coconut oil
Since stretch marks are scarring from skin damage, coconut oil might help heal the appearance quickly. Coconut oil has healing properties and found to reduce the time it takes for skin wounds to heal. Applying coconut oil to your stretch marks each day might take away some of their red appearances.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is referred to as a retinoid. Retinoids make skin appear more smooth and youthful. They are used in many over-the-counter cosmetic creams. Simply using a that contains vitamin A or taking vitamin A orally, can contribute to your skin’s health and overall appearance. A diet rich in certain foods, such as carrots and sweet potatoes, might also help you increase your vitamin A levels.
Chemical peels
Chemical peels are a more extreme measure to get rid of stretch marks. The procedure requires a visit to a dermatologist. The dermatologist applies a liquid solution that burns the top layer of skin, causing it to blister and peel. This damage stimulates the body to produce more collagen to heal the area and create a new layer of skin.
mighty2: Again, Nigerians have questioned the expertise of make-up artistes in Nigeria who are now capable of transforming a black person to a white person with their tools and skills. This young lady with albinism has apparently being transformed into a 'beauty queen' with the expertise of a make-up company identified as Beauty Empire. The company's work has failed to gain much acceptance on social media as netizens have decribed it as fraudulent. Popular commenters believe the work is deceitful as a man deserves to have a vivid knowledge of the looks for the woman he is falling in love with. Anyways, Beauty Empire has been able to make a bold statement with this unbelievable make-up transformation.

fabinfos: We’ve heard of different people going to jail and how much of their life gets wasted while locked up, but it seems the story is not same for Nigerian rapper, SauceKid, popularly known as Sinzu, who just returned to the Nigerian music industry after spending two years in Jail.
The rapper revealed that while things are no longer the same in the Nigerian music industry, Jail hasn’t been all that bad, truth is, Jail has actually been quite productive.
The singer stated this in an interview with Ovie on NotjustOkTV, saying that his to years in jail hasn’t been that much of a waste of time as he had invested every time he had in his music and writing great songs.
Opening up about his experience in jail, Sinzu stated that the experience has been quite a humbling one with him working in Jail and being paid $16 per month. But not dwelling on the financial rewards in prison, the rapper had focused on his craft, telling us that in the first year in prison, he wrote over one hundred and eighty songs and over one hundred and twenty songs in the next year, hence in the 20 months he spent in prison, he wrote over three hundred songs and has recorded about 17! (19:30-20:25).
That is a lot of songs to last a long while.
He went on to state that he can presently release about five songs if he wants but then we know with his new deal with Davido, we are definitely going to be hearing the rapper’s track sooner than we think.
He further revealed that he’s planning on working with FalztheBahdguy and can’t wait to hear what they sound like together. We can’t wait too!

DevelopNaija: During one of my volunteer outreaches, I met Idris who is blessed with twelve fingers and twelve toes. I was very amazed and that was my first (and still only time) I saw someone with extra body parts. Life is indeed full of wonders. Some people are looking for complete body parts, while some people have extra body parts.
My focus today is the beliefs/sentiments attached to a lot of things especially in Africa.
During my chat with Idris, he revealed that every member of his family is blessed with twelve fingers and twelve toes. For those who always attach spirituality to rare situations (no thanks to Nollywood movies), you would hear things like ‘Maybe his forefathers are cursed’ This is satanic’ ‘God-forbid bad thing’ ‘Go for deliverance, this is not ordinary’ ‘My child cannot marry someone like this oh!’ etc.
This equates the kind of sentiments/beliefs a lot of people upholds when it comes to the different situations impeding the growth and development in Nigeria. True change, growth and development begin from our mind-set. We need to change our mind-set on certain things for us to witness sustainable development in Nigeria.
Let me drop some of the beliefs/sentiments we should trash out for development in Nigeria to be fast-tracked.
1 . Religious Sentiments – (It is only a Muslim that will behave like this, Christians don’t. ) 2. Christian Denomination Prejudice - (I can’t marry someone who doesn’t attend my church.) 3.Tribalism Brouhaha - (Is he Yoruba? Ah! I won’t vote for him.) 4. Gender Discrimination - (Over my dead body will I work under a female boss.) 5. Favouritism – (He is my brother, I can’t give this job to a stranger even if the stranger outperformed my brother) 6. Social media Ass-licking – (Why are you asking for his source of wealth? Broke people always have something to say. Mtcheeww!)
What other sentiments or beliefs should our minds be purged of, inorder to have a full cooperation of growth and development in Nigeria? Your comments will be appreciated.
goldcoinhub: The Nigerian jersey has been voted the best jersey out of the 32 nations ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
In a poll conducted by Sky Sports, the Nigerian shirt garnered over 40,000 votes to beat world champions Germany to second place with 21,000 votes.
It will be recalled that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nike who are their official kits sponsor unveiled the official 2018 World Cup kits for the Super Eagles in London on February 7, 2018 to much fanfare.
Speaking on the jersey, Nike said:
“With a culture as vibrant as Nigeria’s, the collection had a lot to live up to.
“The central design theme is an abstract feather pattern inspired by the team’s “Super Eagles” nickname. Last seen during Nigeria’s 1994 appearance on the world stage, the design has been enlivened to capture the energy of the 2018 team.”
The home kit pays subtle homage to Nigeria’s ‘94 shirt, worn by Nigeria’s first team to qualify.
It carries a familiar badge modelled after the 1996 gold medal-winning Dream Team while honouring the 1994 shirt won by the national team.
Nike’s Football Design Director, Dan Farron said in designing Nigeria’s kit, the goal was to tap into the attitude of the nation while keeping in mind the full identities of players.
The American kit maker revealed that demand for the lively jersey had hit over three million worldwide before it officially hit the shelves last week.

made4naijamusic: Following the spontaneous reactions that trailed Falz the Bahd Guy’s latest video, This is Nigeria, where he showcased his female choreographers dancing Shaku-Shaku in Hijab and several other issues affecting the nation, the National Film And Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Abuja, the agency in charge of censorship and rating of music videos and movies has reacted.
In an interview with veteran entertainment journalist Rasheed Abubaka, the Director, Licensing Department of the NFVCB, Cornell Agim said the rapper, Falz didn’t bring his music video for licensing and rating before he released it to the public and unfortunately, the agency’s monitoring team hasn’t reported the video to the directorate.
He said that, though it is their job to censor and rate videos before they get to the public, they can’t be everywhere. That is why journalists and members of the public affected by the visuals are expected to notify them. With that, they can investigate the videos.
In his words, ‘the agency do censorship and rating of music video before it gets to the general public. We ensure we do analysis of those videos. We also try as much as possible not to tamper with the creative intention of any artiste except they come with some obscenity, which we most time kick against. BUT Falz didn’t bring his music video for licensing before it gets to the public. As the Director of Licensing, I haven’t seen the video. Same as the agency. None of our monitoring team has brought it to my notice. Hence, we didn’t censor it before it gets to the public.
He added that,
‘the truth is, most time we can’t reach out. We are handicap because we are not everywhere and we can’t be everywhere. That’s why people like you (journalists) should notify us once you see things like that. Bring them to our notice and we’ll investigate it and bring the perpetrators to book. Often time, we get complain from Nigerians, saying what’s the agency doing? We are trying our best though our best might not be good enough. That’s why we need people like you to supply us with information about the affected song.
The agency do organise sensational programmes for filmmakers and music video doctors. We held one recently in Bauchi, we called it consultative forum but many of them didn’t come. You invite them, they won’t come. Some of them will even ask you for transportation fee. We also print out handouts containing guidelines. If you visit our website, there are relevant materials on licensing and rating. But are they visiting the site? Are they reading the uploaded materials? Despite our efforts in sanitizing the industry, some of them would prefer to break the rules’.
You are talking about falz video all of a sudden deviate to organizing sensational programmes.
How would you organize a programme that would be too far for your target audiences to attend when you are not the one paying their transport fee.
Programmes are organized within the reach of key stakeholders to attend and to worsen matters Bauchi is a crisis hotbed with low security presence and violence is easily incited for flimsy excuses. Una wan kill family bread winners abi
what security programme was in place to ensure the safety of the lives and property of key stakeholders and their accommodation arrangements but if na to steal money all in the name of organizing a programme una can do and undo
If you had held it Lagos you would not be making statements about low attendance
