becomrich5: well I would call all of this people Ikwerri. the Ijaw-Kalabari-Okrika and the 0goni-eleme are less than 20% of the population. they are minority.
If you define Ikwerri, ndoni all together, then they are 80% of the population. Ijaw-Kalabari-Okrika are about 10% of the population. it look like there are not many ijaw in rivers , N
Look at the House of assembly of river state, Or this people look ijaw to you. You will just lay down on your bed bugs infested bed and be writing rubbish! Does Inimgba sounds like an Igbo name? Mumu |

However, in our society, you should understand the phobia towards Hiv, my ex was always suprised how come I choose her over a negative lady. Though my reason was I love her, truth be told, that was not the reason. I earlier dated a lady for 2years, she tested +, but I tested - after several months, which means, I'm immune to the virus. Culture › Re: Statue Erected In Honor Of The Founder Of Okrika Town (pictures) by nabzguy: 10:54pm On Dec 10, 2017 |
Abagworo: I've checked it up and it actually says Okrika has Igbo origin. As one who has interacted closely with the natives I think in Okrika there is Igbo, Ibibio and Ijaw elements in the mix but it seems the 1st settler "Oputibeya" was an Igbo man as acknowledged by natives. It now makes sense why there is Okrika in Igboland and the popular intermarriage among the two.
This is another erected statue of an old Chief in 18th century known as "Ibanichuka". The name equally suggests same pattern. Stop the insinuation, Ibanichuka means totally different thing. Okrikans married Igbos back in the days purely for domestic reason. It was believed Igbo women are hard working and they come very very cheap, because the girls and parents saw marriage to an "mbamiri” okrika man as means of excape from extreme poverty. Hence when the girls are given out for marriage, they attached another junior female relative to her, hence she grows up in Okrika and eventually marries to an Okrika person, and she in turn goes to her village to bring another girl to stay with her.... the circle continues. That was how the Igbos infiltrate the Okrikan families. |

HopeAtHand: I dont know why i just love this thread. Not that it offers much but maybe for the comical value.
Okrika cannot host any major facility or institution because Okrika has no land. So when they say they gave land to british for PH, we ask them very a simple question "do you have land".
Look Abuloma, Amadi Ama, Borikiri. all these areas were mostly reclaimed swamps. Every in Okrika itself alot of reclamation has taken place. The british cannot have asked Okrika to give them lamd because Okrika cannot give what it does not have. Well, When Ikwerre and Okrika people are ready to finally settle the PH ownership, we shall dissect the issue very critically.
joeprince23, take my advise, rest this moniker else even your most honest of comments wouldn't be taken seriously. Weed enhanced thinking and foolish write up. |

Cydhotstepper: The reason why CBT is used is for transparency, equality and fairness. These are obtainable in the developed countries. But the problem with this country is our readiness to copy from the Western world when we do not have the wherewithal. How can the organisers of the CBT favour some courses more than others by setting questions from their undergraduate disciplines while others had to face questions from other disciplines. How can someone who's disciplined in Banking and Finance be made to write a CBT on Journalism and mass communication with few marketing questions and about 3 management questions?. It's disheartening especially when some persons who cheated in one way or the other supports this. What makes you human is when you see wrong and call it wrong. With all sincerity, I'm ashamed of where this country is headed with these kind of corruption. It's unfair. For those who genuinely scored a good mark through hardwork and Gods grace, I applaud you. For those who went through the back door, remember that we are all youths and should be able to stand up and speak up against acts like this without prejudice. This is from someone who faced questions that had absolutely nothing to do with her discipline but travailed through grace. When I logged in, I couldn't believe my eyes, I thought it was a joke. Life goes on and we will keep dreaming and working towards our goals. Guy go and drop your petition and observations at the MD of NDDC office. |

Mr godson has made so much money and I think its hight time Nddc terminates his contract. im going to write a letter to Nddc management about this. today's management exam has nothing to do with accounting, economics, business adminstration, banking and finance. its surprising that management questions was mainly about mass communication and marketing. pls wat Has mass communication got to do with accounting, economics or banking and finance or even project management.I did curriculum in the university and believe me there's not one single borrowed Course that is a mass communication course that is among the courses been thought in economics, accounting or banking and finance. it is very clear the organizers of the CBT test have no knowledge of management sciences and that is why we had questions that had no option. now how is this a test? maybe the board and management of Nddc has no plans for management sciences student but where just trying to do eye service. if this is true, I shake my head for the future of this country. agip and shell are making the same mistake, only promoting science and engineering students. as a nation we can't be dependent on crude oil forever, times are changing. less emphasis has been placed on management sciences. that's why the Nigerian economy is where it Is today..

noblezone: Nobody should blame Buhari for this International disgrace.
First Buhari never wrote that speech, he only read it.
Blame no 1 must go to the guy who wrote the speech. it was him who copied Obama and gave it to Buhari. Does Buhari write his speeches? Does he have the capacity to write them? I mean, can he write his speeches?
Blame no 2 must go to the millions of learned fellows who insisted someone without a school certificate is the best candidate to lead Nigeria.
Blame no 3 must got to those who have the guts to defend the international disgrace.
For me, I have decided to support Buhari in his journey to ruin Nigeria. They said bread receipt or nepa bill paper is enough qualification to rule Nigeria. issokay. |
