Car TalkWhere Can I Learn Driving For #5000 - #10000 by Nad95(op): 12:06pm On Dec 27, 2019
Hi, everyone. Merry Christmas to you all.

It's part of my resolve to learn how to drive before the end of this year. Although I have learn driving with manual transmission cars. It doesn't hurt to learn with automatic transmission cars. My instructor for the manual transmission car is always busy and shouts (this gets me very nervous).

I stay in Calabar. I don't mind paying to perfecly learn how to drive an automatic transmission car in a few days before this year ends. I need to learn defensive driving, journey management, etc.

Please if there's anyone here willing to help, I'll be very grateful.

Thanks.

EducationRe: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by Nad95: 10:38am On Dec 11, 2019
Prettygud:
I have a magoosh premium account to share with anyone that is interested.

I wrote my GRE today.. Twas not as I expected. As a first time taker, I thought it was just some baby exam. I start prep August, so my prep was just approximately 2 months.

Some bad luck started following me from 6am today when I woke up, I stood straight to stretch, not knowing the fan was not really far up, I ended up cutting my right hand finger nails into two, blood everywhere. This happened because it's not my house, I didn't know the fan was low. I went to a near by chemist to treat my self. This weakened my confidence as I could nearly hold a pen. (don't stretch if u aren't familiar with the room on the day of ur test angry..)
Anyways I got to the centre in abuja 8:40am, the whole check in process was carried out and we started.
I have long Bern praying for 3 quants but after the incident I pray for 3 verbal( which I wasn't good at).
I wrote the test with the pain. Typing wasn't easy. But I know I did well in the AWA, my topics were sweet, straight forward, already worked on similar topics from the ETS pool of essays. I should write about 700 words for each, could have written more if I could be faster.

The first verbal was difficult, then I hard I tough quants, then break, another equally tough verbal, now I knew the first should be the experimental as I didn't really do well. The next quants was lot tougher than most practice test I have taken. What surprise me was that my last verbal was equally tough as the previous ones, I assumed I did well in the previous verbal, probably that's
Why I got another difficult one. Little did I know that I was joking with myself, all fantasy.

I will be having a rewrite by early December, by then I should have solved the mystery of verbal.
And please I will appreciate tips on verbal because I employed all that I knew during the test.

I clicked reports score and there was my 55k staring at me on the screen..
If u register GRE for a cheap price and u are genuine, please send me ur contact.

V152Q164(316) undecided..

I beg coming test takers, forget the learning of big words, the GRE dosent have big words like that, its straight forward.. Learn few words, the common ones, forget advance words and Co.. U can use magoosh flashcard for.. My problem in verbal from practice yes has always been RCs which I sometime get 3 or 4 of 10, but TC and SE are good.

Stick to one material, the most important of all is the ETS materials, all the questions that fly around are not GRE like, some are extremely tougher without clues but GRE TC and SE gives u enough clues, just learn to find it in RCs too, that's my own issue for now..

For quants, ETS is also still the best.. Then u can use magoosh or Manhattan.
Princeton practice test is a very close predictor of your real score.

If u are interested in the magoosh premium account, dm via mail.
Hi, prettygud. Hope you've fully recovered from your injury. Can you share the magoosh account with me? My email is contentprenuer@gmail.com.
Thanks

1. With the loads of resources available online, you can always navigate for help

2. School varies. But most schools in the US allows you to run masters in same college as your undergraduate irrespective of your major. (e.g, bsc in chemistry can run masters in biology). What they do is to check your transcript and see if you meet the required undergraduate courses. If you didn't, you may have to take few undergraduate prerequisite for your masters major. Engage the course/faculty advisors of your proposed schools for enquiries.

3. GRE + CGPA. The higher the GRE score, the higher your chances. Since its stem course, your chances are brighter.
Thanks for your help. I so much appreciate.

3) When your Dr. Gives you anti malarial and includes vitamin C and panadol. Have you asked why? It's called SYNERGY. These drugs synergize with each other to produce maximum benefit.
Now GRE, TOEFL, powerful LOR, SOP, GPA all work in synergy to get you admission, and improved chances of good funding and visa approval.
End of story.

Hi, fam. Thanks for all that you guys are doing here. Please I have to some questions to ask and I hope to find answers here:

1. Is there anyone here in this forum/thread who's in the US and studying Medical Laboratory Science at the undergraduate or Masters Level?

2. Is it possible to study Medical Laboratory Science at the Masters Level with a BSc degree in Human and Medical Physiology?

3. Does sitting for GRE and scoring high qualify one for scholarships or it'll be a combination of both your BSc CGPA and GRE?

I really look forward to receiving answers to these questions here.

Once again, thank you.

From what I have read here, conversion from B1/B2 visa is a tough prospect so I think traveling with your B1 then changing to F1 over in the states might not be an option.

Going for Msc with that cgpa should be possible but Assistantship may not be possible with that cgpa but u may write GRE and ace it well to increase ur chances of an Assistantship. Taking care of two children, Msc + Assistantship duties won't be a an easy task if u wanna get good grades.

Since u already have a BSc in Chemistry and u are interested in Nursing, I would advice you go for an accelerated nursing degree in the Usa. They allow you into the program with a Bsc degree then u complete like 4 semesters or more to get a Bachelors nursing degree. Not all schools offer it but u have to Google and check requirements for accelerated nursing degree in those schools. I think you should be able to defend the reason you are goin for an accelerated nursing program at the embassy as chemistry is a research course and nt a career course like nursing that will boost your job/career prospects.
I know Truman state university has an accelerated degree program in nursing but u have to read info thoroughly on their web page, mail and call them to fully understand the process. Understanding the info about their accelerated nursing degree is a bit tough, I am trying to do the same for my sister with a kid also.

But pls research other schools that offer accelerated nursing as their process might be easier than Truman state's own.

Concerning Assistantships, it's virtually impossible, but scholarships might be an option but I would erase that cuz of ur cgpa.
I hope gurus in the house would contribute and give you other options.
All the best ma'am!!!
Hammond93, I sent you a PM. Please kindly reply. Thanks.

How old are you? You may not get your student visa with a two year community college (which awards the associate degree in question) i-20. Please note "may". So, there is room for exception. But community college i-20s hardly earn visa approval these days. Your age is one of those factors you must consider when deciding which to go for.
Hi, fairheart. Thanks for the response. I'll be 24 this year by God's Is this age a red flag?

Hi, everyone. I want to go for nursing in the US but I'm confused as to which route to take. I'm considering the Associate Degree route offered by community colleges or the Accelerated Bachelor's Degree route offered by Universities. Information online says the Associate Degree route is less expensive than the Accelerated Bachelor's Degree route. Also, I'm looking at the program that will afford me the ability to work while on campus (Accelerated Degree program often leaves little or no space for that). Please if there's any one in any of these programs, I'll kindly need more information from you.
Thanks.
