Would you ascribe to an Igbo presidency in 2015?

In 2015, no. We reached an agreement that they will support the North in 2011 and they did not. So how can they now ask the North to take their votes and give to them? Let them wait for their turn. This is the reason why I am 100% in support of rotation. It started from us in NPN. We brought in rotation so that every part of Nigeria will produce the president. Unfortunately, the military overthrew that government before Shagari could complete his second term. Now, by the special grace of God, General Sani Abacha created the 1994 Constitutional Conference where we recommended a constitution which he promulgated into a decree in 1995. It adopted rotation and is now in the constitution. Unfortunately, Abdusalam threw it away.

He adopted the zoning but rejected rotation. So, we have to come back to rotation. That is why Jonathan is advocating the entrenchment of rotation in the constitution so that the Igbos, the Kanuris, everybody will be able to produce a president. Now, if you go by the present geopolitical zones that we have in Nigeria, there are two zones that have never produced a president. In fact there is a zone that has never produced a president, not even a ceremonial president and that is the north east. So the two zones that are now left out in the presidential arrangement are the north east and the south east.

If you take all the votes of the Igbos in Nigeria, I think they are about 25 % and if they quarrel with the north, I can assure you that they will not get the votes of northerners. Yes, Jonathan got the votes of a lot of northerners during the nominaton. But that is a different matter. When it came to the election proper, you know what happened. So, I think if we are going to do it on the basis of democracy; on the basis of negotiation like we started. If they had kept faith with what we had agreed upon, all these problems would not have arisen. You cannot eat your cake and have it. They promised to support a northerner and they didn’t and they want the north to support then in 2015, I do not think that is a normal thing. We should try to avoid selfishness in this matter.

Where should the presidency go to in 2015?

Why are we in this round of bombings by Boko Haram, and why are ALL Northern leaders maintaining a deafening silence, as hundreds and thousands of Nigerians (mainly non-Hausa/Fulani) are butchered daily, either through bombing, or "fulani herdsmen" massacres. 

Isn't this bombing because Jonathan (a minority southerner) was voted into office, and some Northern leaders threatened violence if he was "rigged in"?

You talk as if Nigeria is some European country with solid constitution and agreement about nationhood.  
Dude, BH wants total islamisation of Nigeria, and Northern leaders are keeping silent. Why do you think that is the case? Why is Jonathan completely powerless inspite of being the "commander in chief"?
