I'm currently on Facebook where women are pouring out their experiences from men who were chasing them while they were heavily pregnant.

It's unfortunate. So one has to bear the burden all alone except there is a scholarship to cushion the amount

Studying overseas can be very demanding financially and most times the cost of running the program might be what one can not handle. I recently got an offer to study in the UK, the major challenge is how to sort out the tuition. Is there any financial institution, body, organisation or agency that could offer study loans for people intending to study abroad?

Another important point to note for those yet to do theirs. Be conversant with your first degree project and course. I believe that'll score some points too.

Infact they'll ask when u registered. Once you've answered that question that'll determine whether the "are you up to date" question will follow.

I feel they are very serious about the professional certification and publication thing. The interviewer at the PH center repeatedly asked if I've paid my dues till date.

At the port Harcourt center, they've started calling in the candidates for the interview. All the best to everyone today

Like someone rightly mentioned earlier, avoid plenty talk. Your responses should be Short, concise but not ambiguous. Do not argue with those interviewers or try to prove any point, you will further aggravate things. Wishing everyone the best of luck

You don't need referees at this stage and you ain't submitting no CV. It is not required for the interview.

Surprisingly they might not even check it. Don't allow this transcript thing discourage you from attending the interview.

Does first degree scholarship award counts as an award?

It was considered last year by some panel of interviewers. I can't say for sure this year.

Please I was Scheduled for 9:00am but I have Exam by 10:00am... Is it possible for me to be allowed to sit for the interview around 2:00pm?

If your 9am exams is within the venue of the interview then you'll meet up. Truth is you can go in for the interview at anytime within the date you were scheduled...just meet whoever is coordinating it and explain or give any reason why you're coming in later than you were scheduled.

Like it is really annoying. Why hold people to ransom with all these suspense for over a year now. Nawa for them. Perhaps they just feel they are not answerable to us. But there are other Scholarship programs out there that take in applications more than we can imagine, and within a particular time frame, they are done. Should there arises a reason for delay, you'd at least here from them.

It is well is my conclusion.

My brother I had this same thought. Even NGOs who organize scholarships do so at the shortest time possible to allow the beneficiaries access the funds iny time and follow up with their academics. I had hopes that an organization like PTDF would be even quicker and more organized. Perhaps it was a wrongness assumption.

Let's wait and see what they are up to. After all we've done 1 year already.

If she goes to deeper life she may be correct.

No sex before marriage means..

(1) No sex with my fiance but I can have sex with outsider. I want to preserve fiance, so I don't want him to sleep with me; but I can get it from ex or whoever.

(2) No sex with my fiance and no sex with outsider. I am not trying to impress my fiance, I am just again all forms of pre-marital sex. I may or may not be a virgin, but I can never bow to pre-marital sex again.

Has anyone been able to reach out to PTDF, can we atleast have a concrete reason for this delay. 1 year since application.

Today makes it a year and five days since we applied for LSS...no scholarship fund takes this long....

To say the delay is annoying would mean putting it mildly. The entire process is slow. It's clear PTDF does not think more of or value the local scholars and yet someone would come and preach to me about "growing Nigeria or made in Nigeria". We do not value what we have. I'm fade up with the entire process. Imagine if one had entirely put all his hopes on the PTDF sponsorship.

Do not underate this comment if you're in camp already and have not done medical(DSSC) or you're in the 2nd batch(SSC).

Please you guys should stop waking this thread. When PTDF is tired of withholding the list, they will release it. Imagine what we applied since October 2018 till date we are still expecting feedback. We have a long way to go in this country.

Its rather unfair for them to be all mute. No communication, no feed back. 1 whole year of scholarship application. Even if it was an NGO that wanted to award this scholarship, they would have been more faster and quicker. PTDF let me down with their pace.

Can PTDF put an end to this wait. It's been 1 full year now since we applied for this scholarship.

What is the worth of the scholarship. Please anyone with useful information should drop it.
