A young Nigerian Kid by the name Tanitoluwa Adewumi has set an outstanding record of being the 28th youngest National Chess Master in the United States after beating all other competitors to bag more than the required 2200 points.
Tanitoluwa who is just 10 years old fled from Nigeria with his parent to the United States in 2017, lived in a homeless shelter located in New York City, United States.

The family flew to Dallas, Texas on a tourist visa they had previously secured. Shortly after, they moved to New York City, where a local pastor connected them with a homeless shelter. It was there that Tanitoluwa saw a chessboard for the first time.

Every club to compete in the 2021-22 Champions League group stage received a guaranteed €15.6million, with each win in the group stage worth an additional €2.8million and each draw worth €930,000.

Beyond that, every stage was worth a significant sum, with each added to the last. Teams that qualified for the round of 16 received €9.6million, for the quarter-final, €10.6million, and for the semi-final, a further €12.5million.

The team that lost in the final – Liverpool, in 2021-22 – then added €15.5million to their total, while the winners Real Madrid banked €20million.

All of that is just the prize money for progress in the competition, with television money and coefficient money still to come.

Swiss Ramble estimates that €68.1million in TV revenue was shared between the four Premier League clubs in 2021-22, with half of that money split based on the four teams' Premier League placing the previous season and the other half divvied up based on their progress in the 2021-22 Champions League.

Coefficient money, meanwhile, is relative to each club's UEFA coefficient ranking, calculated based on their performance in UEFA competitions over the previous 10 seasons.

Deducted from all that was a relatively small rebate, handed back to TV companies for the reduced Champions League fixture schedule in the 2019-20 season, when the quarter and semi-finals were cut to one leg due to the Covid pandemic.

This licensing followed a visit to Nigeria by the company’s team in May last year.

It said “The company received two licenses, which include the International Gateway license and Internet Service Provider (ISP) license, and will be traiding as Starlink Internet Services Nigeria Ltd.

According to NCC, the International Gateway license has a 10-year tenure while the ISP license is to last for five years. Both licenses take effect from May 2022 and may be renewed after the expiration.” Types of licence Musk Starlink will operate under the Internet Service Provider (ISP) category and will be trading as Starlink Internet Services Nigeria Ltd.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has revealed why a building owned by Tonto Dikeh's ex-boyfriend, Joseph Egbri, popularly known as Kpokpogri, was demolished this morning May 14.

In an interview with Punch, an aide to the FCT Minister stated that Kpokpogri’s house was demolished because it was built on a major highway.

Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Monitoring, Inspection, and Entrustment, Attah Ikharo, said the building didn’t get approval from the necessary agencies.

“His house is on a super highway known as M-16. He doesn’t even have a building plan approval. It’s like somebody who knows that the highway is coming sold the land to him and he just went to build. We have been asking him to stop but he refused.”

Debunking Kpokpogri’s claim, the minister’s aide noted that he was warned against building on the land but he refused.

“In Abuja, before you build, you must get building plan approval. There was no approval at all for him. The place was initially allocated to somebody long ago. So I think the person now sold it to somebody who then sold it to him. When he discovered that it was a road, He didn’t stop but kept rushing the building. The whole building was built in less than a year.

The Federal Housing Authority Managing Director came here twice this week. The MD came the day before yesterday (Thursday) that they didn’t give him approval and the building was illegally constructed.

The FCDA Executive Secretary also came, adding that it was illegally constructed. We came here twice this week asking him to vacate because of the super highway.”Ikharo said

He added that the only impediment on the highway which began from Guzape 2 was Kpokpogri’s house, stating that in three months time, the road work will commence on the land.
