Education / Re: 90% Of UNIMAID Students Can't Afford New Fees-NANS by naijainstinct: 3:19pm On Jan 16, 2023

You went to university but did not learn how to ask questions or to think?
Where is he money to subsidise education going to come from?
Government is in trillions of debt yet subsidising petrol ,diesel and basically free university education
.
Nigeria has nearly 2 million undergraduates in total.
Where we are heading is a realisation that we must be productive as individuals , pay our way and stop looking for freebies
Those people Learning trades e.g. Mechanics, tailors, electricians, plumbers do not get help from government so why pamper undergraduates?
Your father at home or in his grave is the one that does not know how to think. Pig
I would have educated you by engaging in an intellectual discuss on the subject matter but you lost that opportunity with your opening sentence. You are still a baby who cannot hold civil conversations without disrespecting or denigrating the other person.
Education / Re: 90% Of UNIMAID Students Can't Afford New Fees-NANS by naijainstinct: 9:09am On Jan 16, 2023
Things have really changed. I recall when I gained admission into UNIMAID in 2005. My first fees as a fresher was N15,000. In subsequent years, I paid between 8,000 and 12,000 except for final year in 2008 when I paid N18,000 because of added field trip fee and an extra 5000 for late registration.

Where are we heading in this country? Tuition fees have risen over 1000%, yet, salary has not risen beyond 200%

Many thanks and appreciated. Is there a process for getting this? I am not in Naija at the moment so is this something someone can help me obtain and scan across?
Yeah, I believe people obtain it in proxy. But they will need a copy of your passport photograph and you will spend a bit more than the official cost.

Hi people,

Please I need some advise. What documents can one use in place of the birth certificate for PR application? My birth certificate has been lost for decades. For things that require birth certificate in Nigeria, I used a sworn declaration of age obtained from a court when I was much younger. Would that also suffice for PR application?
Get an attestation of birth certificate from National Population Commission

Hey guys, I embarked on the EE/PNP immigration journey in December and patiently waiting for draws to resume. I have had to frequently log in on here and browse a lot to keep myself updated about EE/PNP happenings so I decided to create a WhatsApp group to that effect.

https:///BbzHxYiF4Wb7WjFpIfAsg1

Please let’s connect and share our various knowledges, information, and experiences.
You started the journey in December and you're already trying to derail the thread by creating a WhatsApp group even though you have benefited from this thread and your sole reason is that you have had to log in here constantly.

People have been accessing and benefitting from the wealth of information on this thread and by extrapolation, this forum, for years without recourse to WhatsApp where people can just derail a group with all manner of religious, political and other irrelevant messages including unsolicited videos. Let's not even talk about fraudsters who will follow the link you posted and join the group just to mine numbers of their potential victims.

With all due respect Sir/Ma, for the benefit of those who can and will gain valuable information from this thread as you also have, we are not interested in your WhatsApp group.

Thanks and best regards smiley

Crime / Re: Assassins Set CBN Staff, Wife Ablaze In Ogun, Kidnap Son, Maid (pix) by naijainstinct: 9:15pm On Jan 01, 2023
What a way to start the New Year! While some were in church thanking God for granting them the grace to see a New Year, others were scheming evil against their fellow man.

This is just one of the many reasons (asides amassing wealth) why the upper middle class keep "japa-ing" to countries they consider safer.

Husband is a senior staff at CBN, wife is a principal officer in a federal university. What else could they ask God for in terms of financial stability? No matter how much you earn, you are not safe in Nigeria. If you are poor, problem, if you are rich, problem, if you are in the middle class living low-key, problem.

If you are the most successful amongst your family or friends, problem. If you are known in church or mosque, problem. If you own an expensive car, problem, if you own an average car, problem.

Just before this news, is that of a woman who came to Nigeria with her kids to celebrate the Yuletide at her late husband's place in Owerri but lost one of the kids on New Year Eve to a gunshot wound on the stomach. Guess who shot the 5 year old? Her 'policeman' uncle.

Nigeria will disgrace you if you are not careful and prayerful

if there is anything I can vouch for, it is that the hopefuls will be contacted veryyyy soon. I know this because my person is constantly reassured even without pestering her uncle who is the !&£*/ to the President.

Where did you see the baby cobra? Hope you ain't talking about the one in the shoe video?

I was referring to the original photo by the OP. That's not a cobra's body and unfortunately the pictures are too far. My best guess is that that's a baby python due to the details on its skin. Cobra doesn't even come close.
it's the one in the shoe video I was talking about. I didn't realize that I had it mixed up. You are very smart to have deciphered that on your own. My sincere apologies please. You were right.

Yes, the closest bet is a baby python. Cannot be a Gaboon Viber as many are positing.
