Everyday i hear nigerian fans singing songs of the need to re-call osaze back to the eagles.Most say he is better than many players in the team and will add more quality to the team than some players already in the team.Some say he is needed because he was arguably nigeria's best player when he was in the team.
All these may be true.But his indiscipline aside,many fans that are clamouring for his return probably haven't watched him recently(This season).In their brains,they still picture the vibrant,pacy,dangerous,skillful odemwingie who was always a terror to defenders in the EPL 2 or one-and-a-half years ago.An osaze that was banging hatricks and braces for westbrom frequently.They picture the osaze that was always the only spark in the super eagles attack with his pace and amazing skills.They judge him from his past.
They haven't watched him recently this season for cardiff to observe that the osaze of 1 year ago,is not the osaze of present.He has really lost his pace and is struggling to find the back of the net.All those pace and skills are fading away.He is 32 years,So thats normal.Probably old age is catching up or due to the fact that he was inactive in football for a whole 7 months.
Odemwingie is struggling this season for cardiff.He has scored ONLY 1 goal,despite leading the attack and starting almost every game since his transfer deadline day move.He hasn't even assisted a goal.
Cardiff are struggling,but they have been scoring goals in every match,only that osaze hasn't been among the scorers.With odemwingie leading the attack and failing to score,their goals have been coming from wingers,midfielders and supporting striker Frazier campbell.I won't be surprised if he looses his place in their 1st XI soon due to his lack of productivity.
So fans clamouring for odemwingie's re-call really need to watch and asess his performance for his club this season.Though even with his poor form,he is still better than some attackers in the current S.E team,but
he also got his indiscipline issues too(don't know if he has changed).
IMO for indisciplined and difficult players like odemwingie to earn a re-call they must be in their hottest form ever.If not,its better to stick with the loyal,committed players that are though not up to his quality.But that can't be said about osaze.
I think among the indisciplined/out-of-favour players only uche deserves a re-call because he is in red-hot form for h is club in the la liga.Scoring every week.Currently has about 6 or 7 goals this season for villarreal who are 4th on the La liga.
Uche deserves the re-call and not osaze or both.

Victor Moses' loan move to Liverpool was suppose to serve as a platform for him to get regular playing time and also to prove a point/some points.To prove to Mourinho that he made a huge mistake in loaning him out and also to prove to the world that he is really a top player.But unfortunately,so far that hasn't been the case.
Moses started out brightly by posting a man-of-the-match performance on his debut against swansea and also scoring a wonderful goal.From that game,many including me thought that he would keep up that performance and go on to be one of best wingers in the EPL this season.
But after that match his performance for liverpool kept on dropping until he found himself on the bench.He is now a bench player/super-sub who only comes in at the dyeing minutes to see out matches.Also the return from injury of some key players like coutinho,Glen Johnson made matters worse.
I was viewing some Liverpool twits recently.I came across one where they were congratulating him for winning the "Nigerian Player Of The Year Award".I clicked to view the replies.I was expecting to see fans congratulating him,but instead I saw fans(most british) slating him.I saw comments like:-"Crap player,i don't know why rodgers got him from chelsea,Was he doing mourinho a favour ?"......"Useless Flop"......"Sitter Misser"................"We don't need moses.sterling and Ibe are 10 times better".
I felt sad for him and asked myself "Na so e bad reach ?".Though british fans can be so mean and hateful.
Some fans argue that moses hasn't been excellent for liverpool because brendan rodgers have been playing him out of position.Playing him in a rather strange No.10 role.
That could be true because he has been STARTED on the wings(his natural position)only TWICE and in those two matches(Swansea and southampton) he was exceptional.But
Some also argue that he should be able to adapt to any role rodgers uses him.
Season is still long though and he still has a lot of time.
But with rumours of liverpool chasing a new winger in january,things might get worse as moses would likely drop further down the pecking order.
This would definately be bad.

Other chelsea players on loan are flourishing.Lukaku is scoring for fun every week,Piazon is scoring every week and is currently among the highest goal scorers in the dutch league.These players are doing more than enough to earn a re-call back to chelsea,but that can't be said of victor moses.If you can't make the 1st XI of liverpool,no way you would make it at chelsea.

If things remain the same or go worse,If he doesn't improve,moses might just be loaned out again next season,this time to a buttom table team if liverpool refuse to keep him.
That would be bad for a player i think has the potentials to be a world beater in future.

Over the past weeks since the triumph of the Golden eaglets,we've been hearing transfer rumours about the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho,Chidera Ezeh and Musa mohammed heading to europe.
We hear Iheanacho is close to joining Manchester city,Musa mohammed is been courted Manchester United and Chelsea,Chidera Ezeh is been chased by Porto,Roma e.t.c,Isaac Success' move to udinese is already a done deal(Confirmed).
But nothing has been said about other eaglets who also shined tremendously at the tournament.The likes of Awoniyi,Nwakali,Musa Yahaya,Okon,Idowu e.t.c.No news about them.
I'm surprised that clubs aren't chasing a great talent like Musa Yahaya who IMO was nigeria's 2nd best player at the tournament,and yet a lot of clubs are chasing chidera ezeh who spent most of the tounament on the bench and barely performed compared to yahaya,awoniyi and the likes.
Does it have to do with having a top class agent that is connected ??.
I think so.IMO no matter how talented you are,if you don't have a top agent that has strong connections with top clubs in europe,you are just wasting your time and might end up in obscure leagues like the polish league,swedish league e.t.c.
