I can do that quite well. I know how to fetch data from databases and display them but arranging those scores under the specified subjects is the issue. Assuming the class is jss1, session is 2020 /2021 and term is third term how do I use these with the broadsheet table and with students and subjects tables to display all students, subjects and scores for subjects in jss1, third term and 2020/2021 session?

That said, humans are funny. Their is a guy that was using Redmi note 5 then he upgraded to Samsung a52. He said a52 is great but he still misses the app daily data check features on his redmi

Another, was a guy using Redmi 7 which he replaced with Samsung a52 saying that now he sees why Samsung is expensive.. I was like is this guy insane? How much is the redmi compared to the Samsung? Why not use mi 9t first?

Lastly was my friend who was using Samsung note 10. The note 10 screen got faulty then I adviced him to buy Redmi 10x 5g. The guy kept thanking me that he is only missing the pen in his formal note hence every other thing is the same yet the phone is very cheap

1. Never buy a product that you're in two minds about. Don't do that to yourself. Because then you'll start looking for the said faults in the product and then later you'll say that the thread mislead you. It's not the first time, won't be the last.

I was reading good reviews on this thread about the Mi 9T yesterday and I laughed. Why? Because I remember that one homo sapien claimed to have the phone, dropped it by himself on floor tiles and the screen began misbehaving. He began a war of calumny and misinformation against the device. Many people who listened to him missed out on a very good device.

2. Poor reviews: May 2019, after the Redmi Note 7 failed Zach's bend test, Indians wrote unprintable things about the phone. I heard even worse from marketers at Pointek when I went to buy it. Did it stop me? No. I had done my research and I knew what I wanted. I bought the device and walked out proudly. Genius43 knows my younger brother. That phone has now spent close to a year with him. It's still working fine and going strong.

3. Hardware: No where, can you find a phone that offers the hardware:price ratio that the Redmi 9t offers. Quote me anywhere. SD662, 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charge, FHD resolution LCD screen, dual speakers, and a 48mp camera.

Check the market, you won't find it.

Does this mean that the phone is perfect? Absolutely not! No phone is. People with Galaxy S21 Ultra dey complain of bugs. iPhone 12 users dey complain of lag and battery drain. Na come small Redmi 9t.

If you understand tech, you'll know that the camera on the Redmi 9t is binned or compressed down to 12mp. That's how binning works. It's not a scam.

If you listen to idiots who are bad photographers then I sorry for you. The same RN9 Pro in my hand that I use for taking pictures, someone said that the camera is a scam too. The same person if you give am digital camera go still snap nonsense.

In summary, since you're in two minds, don't buy the Redmi 9t, go and buy something else. It's your money. I'm sure Transsion has inferior alternatives and Samsung and Oppo have overpriced options as well. Happy Sunday to you, Happy New month.

I remember this Mi 9t conundrum then. I advised people to buy that phone in the words of one "Na chinko phone, that pop-up camera na him go first spoil, the AMOLED Na scam, e no go last that is why e cheap. I told him to suit himself.

I have passed the stage of trying to convince anyone to get a phone it is not my father's company, neither am I a staff nor a shareholder.

If you come to me to advice you for a device be it phone or PC honestly with an open mind, I will but if you are already tilted one way I let you go.

You can imagine. I think I remember when Xiaomi first came to Nigeria, somebody said it, either gptech or grandmufti, said that the coming of xiaomi to Nigeria was the coming of problem. Initially I was like why would you say such a thing. But the more events unfold the more I realise that he was right absolutely Nigerians don't deserve good brands. We should stick with transsion and Samsung and co that will overprice mediocre products for us. That's what we deserve.

Nice points, to add to what you wrote, I think pointstores should tell his customers his battery ratings in volts and ah so as not to cause misunderstanding. Even I tell my customers not to put a load of more than 200w on a 200ah 12v battery so as to prolong it's life. @op, if you want to power a 300w load with an inverter, you must be willing to spend upwards of 170k for a 1kva system for just the inverter and battery. Pls make due diligence in the future

Please I need your help on how I can make laptop start working well again. I got the laptop (UK used as claimed) around October, 2020 through my friend at N87,000. I asked my friend to help me get it being someone that knows about computer stuff and a Computer Engineering student, but I'm disappointed; he bought a crap. A week after using the laptop, the speaker failed. I didn't mind 'cause I felt I didn't really need it. The hinge also broke, I took it to a technician and fixed it.

Fast forward to this month, the laptop began overheating and was shutting down on its own. It did get overheated not up to one hour of turning it on. I took it to a technician again, he serviced it and the overheating is no more prominent, and it's no more shutting than on its own.

My concern presently is that, I noticed that the part of the keyboard around the cooling is still always mildly hot and the down part(beneath) of the laptop also gets very hot. Please what can I do so that this thing will not lead into a more complicated issue 'cause I don't a dime presently.

Stop trying to "learn" a language...PHP, Java, Javascript... etc!

You want to learn how to code? Learn programming.

Spend a lifetime continuously learning the principles and concepts of programming and at some point, you will only need a weekend to understand the syntax of any language. Yes, in the process of learning programming you will have a language of reference (better a low level one) but you are focusing on the concepts of programming and not the language.

I saw another thread asking if PHP is dying(my biased opinion: was it ever alive?). Languages come and go, the principles and concepts of programming stay the same.

You don't learn how to drive a Honda Accord, a Toyota Camry, a Benz...No, you learn how to drive a car.

I do use the CLI. It doesn't intimidate me at all. What I meant is that the UI will save me time from learning the commands for DO. I'm suspect that the commands syntax vary from platform to platform, and for any platform you choose, you've got to learn their stuff. So instead of staying stagnant while learning DO's commands, I can deploy and manage my app with the UI, while gradually learning the commands of DO CLI.

And what cloud service provider do you think is best for a Laravel application? I am thinking of using Digital Ocean. Nairaland seems to be running on Cloudflare. Seun, why Cloudflare?
