Privit: The game is truly different on the iPhone. Since I started using it for efootball I've only lost once in PvP matches and it was a last minute goal conceded due to my negligence. I trashed the last set of guys I played 4-1, 3- 0,3-2. I'm so enjoying the game on iPhone. I put it on 60Fps and high graphic settings yet it plays so well that it's like I'm playing against Al and not an online opponent. The graphic is so good and stadium so clear , I see the spectators clearly. Just felt I should share what transpired after getting it. Only problem is that I lost my over 10,000 coins accumulated over years while transfering my data from Android to iPhone, though my GP and other things were in tact, but I lost all my coins. That's great news, thanks for the update. The iPhone always takes the cake when it comes to high end mobile gaming because of its awesome software and hardware optimization. To get that level of performance on an Android device, you would probably need at least 6GB of RAM and most likely a stock version of Android. Even with that there is no guarantee it will run the same way on devices with similar specs. |

horlahwaley: Been reading your post for a while though i knew most of the things you posted but i still gain one or few things, kudos bruh.
Apple bionic chips still baffles me how they manage 6 cores cpu with two clusters still beating latest SD back to back even with three clusters CPU and even in GPU. Its like android flagship cpu's are 2 years behind. Just that apple is restrictive in their user interface. There is one major reason Apple's Bionic SoCs easily defeat the competition - the tight integration between Apple hardware and Apple software (iOS). Apple iOS was developed by Apple specifically for Bionic SoCs - so it has been fully optimised to take full advantage of the underlying hardware. Android on the other hand is not optimised for any specific SoC, it is generic. Also, Android engineers don't have the time and the resources to tune or optimise Android to work perfectly well with every available SoC. Another very important thing to note is that iPhones are by nature flagship devices, so all the components are usually flagship grade components. With Android devices, most times you see manufacturers mixing different grades of components together - which "might" ultimately affect optimised performance. A good analogy could be putting a V12 turbocharged engine in a small car like a Toyota Yaris. Ideally, you would have to change so many other things to ensure the engine is not underutilized in the vehicle. |

Youngpo413: Redmi note 4 mediatek with helio X20 is not good then...I Was busy counting the cores plus it's cortex A75.... The Helio x2x series actually used the much older cortex A72 cores, while the newer Helio x3x series used cortex A73 cores.

I seriously don't understand the desperation I have seen in this thread. How can people be thinking, and even talking about taking drugs in order to achieve their objectives? Is it when they discover they are addicted, or that there are some hitherto undiscovered side effects; is that when they will learn? The entertainment industry is littered with many examples of people who used 'mild' drugs to help them maintain their busy schedules. All it took was one mistake, and they ended up dead. Three examples stand out - Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Heath Ledger. As I always say, wise people learn from their mistakes, but wiser people learn from other people's mistakes. As always, this is my personal opinion. |

ObvslyNotBanana: If I was a developer, I'd call it a day too after optimizing for snapdragon. It's actually hard with a lot of SOCs on Android. For Apple, it's easy for developers who work with just the Apple CPUs because iterations are closely related.
Btw, coming from a former iPhone user, the iPhone is usually a hotplate that doesn't do well with heat. A13 upward are better. A12 and below easily throttle while gaming. I remember my iphone 7 easily throttling playing "Sims build it" and my then iPhone XS throttling playing Pes 21 especially when I used a black casing which trapped heat, so I played with my casing off. You can imagine the quirkiness! Great insight, heat and throttling is something people don't usually talk about. All that power requires adequate cooling. |

Want to buy and iPhone from 11 upwards but want to be sure if it'd be better Even the iPhone X would be better, but the iPhone 11 is miles ahead. Games and apps on iOS are usually very well optimized because of the close integration between the hardware and the software, and the fact that developers know the exact hardware they are developing for. Only really experienced and good developers can spend the time and resources required to optimize apps and games on Android. Also, developers don't have access to all the available SoCs on Android - most developers just focus on Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs and call it a day. |

Reading some posts on this thread just make me shudder in disbelief. Someone (maybe) contacted you impersonating someone else, and it never once crossed your mind to confirm the identity of the person you were doing business with. And a big red flag is that the person wrongly accused has no history of rendering such services. Anyone who contacts me unsolicited will have to jump through so many hoops to get validated, and even then I will not do business with such an individual. Let us all be wise and circumspect at all times. |

Minemrys: Actually I am more a Spiderman fan. He is so relatable. Then there's Superman who I kinda relate with somehow. Many DC characters are relatable safe for bats who writers thought to make cool. The comic book characters I relate the most with are Batman, and Ironman. I can't relate with Superman - he is overpowered, has a glaring weakness the universe knows about, always holds back in a fight, and he also has so many powers. I can relate with Batman because his character shows that with strict training, discipline, and self-denial - nothing is impossible to achieve. You can even end up arm wrestling with gods. Ironman's character on the other hand reveals the ingenuity of the human mind. If your mind is suitably advanced, you can build almost anything in any situation. As the original Ironman movie states "heroes are built, not born". I love the fact that a physically unimpressive, not so disciplined, alcoholic Tony Stark can (with the aid of technology fashioned by his mind) stand toe to toe with the Hulk. |

Minemrys: Nolan films usually have plot holes like in TDKR, how did bane and his crew get motorcycles into the bank or wall Street without anyone knowing? Or how it became night all of a sudden. But batbale did what a normal human does. He wasn't all knowing, he had emotions and exhibited them. As for the tabs thing, I get he should. Of course he is a business man and all business people have back up plans but spying on the league and their various work of life is just doing what the plot wants him to. It's way overboard. And out of character. Going by how it is, Batman need not care much about green arrow as he isn't a threat and even at that, he probably should have alot to worry about than a vigilante of star city. Are you kidding me? If I am Batman, and there is someone on my team who never misses his shots - I will put extra tabs on such an individual. It is obvious you do not understand Batman very well because this is not the first time he is doing this. Batman has contingency plans for ALL the league members. |

thepoweruser: Hello, fellers. Hope you guys are healthy and safe (my God, did I just use Ben Sin's intro? ).
Alright, so I've been using a (cheap!) KaiOS device for a little over a year and a half as a primary (only) phone. Hell; it's what I'm using to type this review(!) So, I want to share with you guys how it is using this ''smart feature phone''.
So, I bought this device; specifically the MTN Smart T M561M3, on February last year, for #8500 MSRP. Precisely, February 6, 2020. I placed the order on Jumia and got the phone five days later (order was on February 3).
Of course, I did my research before making the decision. I knew what to expect, but as I have said so many times; the best way to find out the truth about a phone or what is like is to use it.
I wasn't expecting an Android-replacement experience. In fact; I wasn't even expecting Tizen OS level of mobile OS performance, though I must say I was stoked over a keypad-driven device with Google Assistant, YouTube, WhatsApp and of course Xender and ShareIt. (There's Facebook and Twitter, too!) So I placed the order and got the phone.
I will post pictures very soon; and in this thread I will post in-depth reviews and photos so that you will get the message, just in case you wanna jump in! (No, literally ) ( )
Okay, sorry for fooling around.
DEVICE SPECIFICATIONS:
MTN Smart T M561M3 (produced and manufactured by China Mobile)
NETWORK: -2G GSM 900/1800MHz -3G UMTS 900/2100MHz -4G: N/A ( Pretty much only the Qualcomm-based KaiOS devices like the Nokia 8110 4G and Alcatel Go Flip have LTE modems)
SIM: Dual-SIM, Dual-Standby
(Yes, 3G is supported on both SIMs, but to use it both SIMs must be MTN SIMs; SIM 1 must have an MTN SIM or you cannot use the device. SIM 2 can use any other SIM but is locked to 2G only.
An MTN SIM must be in the device for the device to work. You can use the phone without the SIMs if you put it in airplane mode then remove the SIMs).
SIM type: Regular Mini-SIM + NanoSIM (SIM 1 & 2)
PLATFORM:
DISPLAY: 2.4-inch TN-TFT LCD, 16M colours, 240x320 (QVGA) resolution.
TOUCH: (Hell) no.
(Display has OK colours but even my ex-BlackBerry Bold 9900 beats it in contrast and black levels. The display gets decently bright but the sun thoroughly defeats it. This is no Galaxy S10+)
CHIPSET:
Spreadtrum (now Unisoc) SC7731EF, 32nm (wot d'ye 'xpect? )
CPU: quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7
GPU: Mali-T830 MP1
RAM: 512MB LPDDR2
STORAGE: 4GB eMMC
(There are TWO MTN Smart T models: M561M2 with 256MB RAM and 512MB eMMC, in black; and mine, in gold with 512MB/4GB. Specs wise; it's very comparable to Tecno's Y2. But is it better? We will see!)
SOFTWARE:
OPERATING SYSTEM: KaiOS 2.5.0; updated to 2.5.1; no security patch info.
TEXT AND INPUT METHOD: Predictive (T9) numeric keypad.

YOUR COMMENTS ARE CERTAINLY WELCOME! LIKE IF YOU FOUND THIS USEFUL; SHARE IF YOU DON'T CARE. Nice review. I was excited when KaiOS first surfaced, but not anymore. KaiOS is not even better than Blackberry OS or even the older Symbian OS. The absence of apps, the lack of a thriving ecosystem, and the uninteresting phones running KaiOS make it a pass. |
