Everyone has one habit or the other that they may find hard to drop.
Of course you never expect 'good' habits to put you in trouble or embarrass you, but this was to be the case for my cousin!

Kola (name changed so he won't notice ) picked up an habit from our childhood, which was to remove his shoes before entering the house. Of course twas to prevent dirt stuck under shoes from entering the house right? Good, but it was to disgrace him today.

So, my cousin, our electrician and I went to the bank today to withdraw some money to pay the electrician for working on our meter box and some wiring.
When we got to the bank, I dropped to withdraw the money (I was driving), after I withdrew the money, I was counting it when my cousin dropped to withdraw some cash too.

We dropped the electrician off when my cousin gave off an alert that his palm sandals had been stolen!
The electrician and his boys swung into action, but hey my cousin didn't alight from the car so it couldn't have been stolen at the electricians place.
Then wasiu proposed that it could have been jazz! African juju!

Then it hit me, my cousin could have removed his shoes at the bank, but I waved it off, we searched around the car and under the seats but we saw nothing.
I asked my cousin if he was sure he didn't leave his shoes at Bank and he said he was sure, that he wasn't a kid that would forget things easily now.

I decided we check the bank anyway, on getting to the ATM, lo and behold! We saw his shoes exactly where we had parked. Unmoved! It be like say Nigerians don dey honest or dem think say the shoe na jazz wey fit disappear them, I decided to believe the latter.
He quietly picked his shoes and we left. We have been laughing at him at home ever since.
Funny enough, he removed his shoes before entering the house when we got home.
