The problem is not that you disagreed with the guy. Science encourages us to disagree if we see reasons to. That's a natural way of refining the final output. Again, the point is not that the guy could not be wrong. In science, being wrong in a new way is considered progress (just like a change of error message is considered progress in IT). Most times, the one time you're right out of a 100 trials makes the difference.

The issue is the way you disagreed with him. You guys bring unnecessary emotions to this platform and that makes it difficult for you to have civil conversations and effectively pass your message across.
