Well might be a solution but one only tangential to the question. Probably it is all due to the fact that most well known Nigerians are of Igbo descent and have left  indelible Igbo marks on political as well as cultural discourses. Look at it this way, the world knows more about Achebe and his world than they do about Soyinka despite the laters's Nobel prize. Talk of Nigerian soccer and the first names that come to mind past and present are Igbo. Not because there are none from elsewhere, but because there is just a dominant and staying mien in anything Igbo. This in spite of Yoruba's or Hausa's numerical stregth here and in the diaspora.

Whenever I introduce myself to foreigners that I am Nigerian, they almost all invariably follow up with a question whether or not I am Igbo. This pattern is so consistent that I am tempted to ask Nairalanders why Igbo is the default identificational marker for a Nigerian to most non Nigerians.

Man Landing on moon is more and more a lie. Anyone with a logically thinking brain will know that. The reason I'm replying to this post is because of a book I read by Michael Tsarion. He described the space expedition as a fallacy cause we have never been to space and that infact we have never left the earth in human form except for robotic forms. How da hell did a picture of a space ship get on the pyramid which has been there for thousands of years? He described a war between a Godly race and a race of aggressive, egotistical, power hungry, self absorbed, evil race. He said no one won in this war cause the strength of there weapons caused a polar shift which a caused a disaster. Almost everyone was trapped on this planet Both those of the Godly race and those of the evil race. The stargate ensured no one with a DNA will leave this planet. Thereby living the good and the bad on this planet. The good and the bad both lost their technological hardware and had to start from the scratch (Thousands of years worth of work gone). But the good tries to acquire it with goodwill while the bad will kill anyone to get what they want. Goodwill of the Godly race has kept them slow in terms of building their hardware while the bad gather everything they want by killing anyone who has it and taking it from them or by enslaving. The Godly race promised to return to earth and fight the evil beings once again but the evil race has also been preparing for that. (Revelation again) I'm not a Christian or a Muslim but I believe the bible has an Iota of our true history in it. Even though I can't explain it to many people on here I understand it for my self. It is sad that at this age and day, we cannot resist the reductionist tendency in us such that rapid growth of urban population becomes a Yoruba/Igbo dimorphism. 1. Stabilize Delta
2. Reorganize the management of revenue especially from oil and  see it being fairly used accross the board and in all parts of the country. this will involve upping the ante on anti corruption measures.
3. Open industrial bases in other cities especially the North.
4. Concentrate federal wealth in the states and monitor its sound  use.
5. Make education for all a reality

I know we shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but what he did to Mary Jo Kopechnie was shocking, She drowned in his car as he sought help from his family and authorities to cover up his crime rather than calling for help. His shocking cowardice and selfishness is how he should be remembered, as it reflects on his life-long career which was marked by a disregard for all human life except his own.
