I experienced this once at a Private Hospital and I was SHOCKED.

After a relative was admitted to a hospital, a Doctor examined him. Then he started to prescribe and SEVERAL drugs and injections.

I asked the Doctor what was the diagnosis and he acted like I just invited him to FEAST on a plate of faeces.

He got offended and BELLIGERENT and I would NOT back down so it devolved into a SHOUTING match right inside the ward.

Very USELESS Doctor!

Feeding people drugs and pumping them full of injections without telling them what you are actually treating is MADNESS.

Diagnosis is IMPORTANT. It's NOT just a guide for caring for patients. It's a COMFORT to patients and their families too.

Fear of the UNKNOWN is real. Minds leap to worst case scenarios when it comes to health issues.

Putting a name to illnesses ASSUAGES that fear. It lets people know that their loved one is being treated for stomach ulcer and NOT heart conditions.

You should NOT have to challenge a Doctor to Mortal Combat just to get a diagnosis.
