Christianity EtcRe: Why Is Nigeria The Most Religious Country! by namdo(m): 2:53pm On Jan 21, 2008
how did all these come up? maybe the world and all in it just appeared or evolved , emmmm  from nothing huh

blind + blind = DoubleBlind

The sick people need a doctor especially when they cannot help themselves nor find a way to do so. And the fake doctors who can know? Those that are 'well' think they need no doctor or even a checkup and why would they bother about the doctor when they are 'looking' ok? cry

Hope you get it though.

That thread on Stock Tips for nigerians na Book of 360pages, lol cheesy maybe i would try vetiva if it won't take a year to transfer shares from my present broker as i can't doll out 1mill at the moment. Was considering cashcraft and quantumsecurities. I am just hoping one of these would be better this time. I maybe wrong here but anything UBA seems to be scary.

and to add to Panache's view, don't even think about selling at all. Get your certificate, verify it, create a CSCS a/c and wait. I think it would get better. The risk takers are buying tongue
InvestmentLooking For A Good Nse Stockbroker by namdo(op): 11:54am On Jan 19, 2008
What has your experiences been?

My broker takes too long , about two-three weeks to execute my order.

I need a link to a better broker that executes orders faster.
BusinessRe: What's Wrong With Interswith Website? by namdo(m): 10:21am On Jan 18, 2008
I think we need to give the interswitch ATMs a break really. Several complaints have surrouned this technology. I have stopped using interswitch ATM due to irregularities and reap-off i experienced using it.

I dont't think you can trade it yourself, you still need your broker there but you would be able to view your stocks status once registered on the CSCS website.

BusinessRe: Kind Of Business To Do With 50,000 Naira by namdo(m): 10:31am On Jan 12, 2008
I support you putting this money in Ibtc specifically the IBTC Ethical fund. Current price is about N2.19 Your 50k would get you about 22800 units. Their performance is about 57%. Surely fast moving stock would give more returns but picking is the wahala. If you put it into another form of business like snail farm, Bees farm, etc my fear is your ability to do all that would make it prosper including getting reliable sales outlet. But with mutual fund like the one i suggested you would not have a big fear.

Get lucky

BusinessRe: UBA Bank Plc - Savings Account!. by namdo(m): 11:28am On Dec 26, 2007
You better not try so you won't run mad at them. I am already disgusted with my dom account, my savings account and my current account. No interests paid into the savings, outrageous amount deducted from current account each time. The ATM they gave me has taken three months and it's not yet working for me, not linked yet to my account was the answer. My dom account, they chose what kind of wire transfers to accept from me even though it is my money i am spending. They charge 15% on every wire transfer.

So, think again, I have since ran to GTbank and Intercontinental (not so much better in fees charged anyway). GTB is best for now. Good customer service and straight to the point you want to get to.

Have a wonderful celebration ALL! grin

Hello Nairaland users and SME interests watch out for this one:

From Monday October 8, 2007, expect media announcements on ASPIRE NIGERIA FUND, a special fund floated jointly by Shell, Diamond Bank Plc and Grofin of South Africa. A $30m fund that will serve as a catalyst for the development and growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.

Specifically, the Fund will enable deserving SME operators to receive financial support for growing their business operations and also provide business development assistance. It will seek to reach Nigerian enterprises that would otherwise find it difficult to meet the conditions for business financing from regular financial institutions.

Aspire Nigeria Fund, now fully operational will be managed by GroFin Nigeria on behalf of the Partners.

This is an opportunity i hope 'naija factor' would not hijack.

Kind regards,
namdo

BusinessRe: How To Get Your Nairaland Account Blocked: by namdo(m): 12:53pm On Jun 29, 2007
Well Seun is the owner of the forum and has right to his forum to administer it the way he choses, period. But members are to be shown some respect. No insults please; moreover some people who post in business forum do not even understand the forms of business that should be there and the ones that should be in the risky business forum. So it would be enough telling people to post businesses related to HYIP, FOREX,EGOLD in the risky business forum with ofcourse a notice that their accounts would be blocked (a lenient measure).

As for knowing which business is risky or not, most businesses are risky no matter how you look at it . Scams are scams and must not be tolerated but again the choice of knowing which is risky is only for Seun the admin here and any business he considers risky should be placed where he has said since he rules the forum, shekinah!

And so my opinion (if needed) is that Seun being a matured man should not insult his readers and participants in the forum but make his intentions and instructions clearly understood and anyone who does not want to obey the rules can find another forum elsewhere.
But Seun and some people here,  e be like say una never understand fully what e-gold or forex are all about. Online foreign exchange and online payment system, they can't be scams on their own but people may hack your e-gold due to poor security and steal, people can trade foreign currency and lose money just as you can lose through buying bad stock, so forex/e-gold are not scams on their own but sure forex, just as stocktrading, is risky if you go without proper knowledge.

Make nobody crucify brother or sister nor lead us into failure or loss but be factual and anyone then has to chose his path, my submission

But can't a stock broker do this within days? or does it depend on availability of buyers?
