My husband currently lives in the uk with a Tier 2 -General visa. I want to join him with our two kids as dependants. Can I apply using his own bank statement/payslip? Can he act as my sole sponsor even if I don't have a bank acct. And what documents can I apply with from him and me? Thanks. And pls, how long does it take for the visa processing?

I can see the stairs but from what i saw it looks like an open plan kitchen with a small eating table.
My cousin in the uk has this kind of open plan kitchen and its coool but as know in nigeria, we do not open every where especially, the kitchen to strangers that may be sharing our table unlike in the uk where a stranger can help himself to ur pot.
can i have a look at how the upper floor plan looks like?

well done on your job as i intend building something like this in forthright estate just b4 PUNCH.
However, i have some reservations in your drawing. i do not like the idea of the stair case being near the dinning table as dirt's could easily fall unto dinning table.
Also it seems  that there are not enough space to park cars beside the house.

Poster, i say relax. Do not overwork urself for a problem your mum and dad created.I was once in similar shoes like yours.

In my case as the first son and child, i tried to settle the quarrel btw the 2 of them but since i did want to side anyone, i was used as the scape goat.My dad will say i am supporting my mum while my mum will say am supporting my dad. At a time, they both developed hatred for me.

After complaining to my aunt one day, she told me that am too young to carry such family issue on my head. Things grew worse when my dad married a second wife and completely packed out from our house but since he owned the house we did not have accommodation issues.

I did same for my mum so that when am on holiday i will stay peacefully and have additional pocket money. I called my immediate younger sister and told her how i survive with everything so that she is not caught in the same trap i was. Today, even though it was not easy to totally erase the psychological effect of want was happening back home, i tried to manage it and not create excuses for myself if i fail in future.

Guy everyone has his or her own cross to carry and nobody will take the excuse of family problem for your failure.
Today i have a good job and praying to GOD that my children does not to through what i went through. My dad has been clamouring for me to get married but just get him off my back, i replied to him that of what use is marrying if the one btw him and my mum was nothing to write home about. From what we have seen this problem does not only apply to nigerian embassy in london it shows it happens in all nigerian embassies all over the world.
The problem we are facing is a product of our government ministries. All Nigeria gvt offices have same mentality both in nigeria and abroad were govt workers see themselves as God and, nothing is done to improve the service.
We nigerians too do not help matters as we are used to being chased around by a military or sercurity man before we will behave ourself .
Tell me even our international airport what do you think of it?
A friend of mine once said the kind of organisation and customer service in startford station is better than that of our international airports put togther.
So my brother it is not nigerian embassy it is the government ministry as a whole.

Man no wonder this bankers ride big cars, just for siting in the office and having no investement ,they make million on their customers.
Imagine charging for a withdrawal slip.
My bank in the uk even sends me text massages within 2 hr when ever a transfer is made out of my account as to prevent and fraud from going through at no cost and i have never paid for any transaction i made within uk.
When ever you are short changed at the ATM which rearly happens the banks first of all pays you back the money pending on investigation.

I think you are taking your anger so far. I was there 2 weeks ago and  2 days ago to pick up my passport. It is not as bad as you are saying what ,u should understand is that the population of Nigerians in London is so high and also for the fact that there is a change of international passport worsen the  chase.Every one that wants to renew his/her visa decides to have a new passport instead.Although there is great room for improvement like the toilet areas and the airconditioning system .Have you also checked the Indian embassy in London ,they have same problem because of the population problem.
Also remember that our niggar character never leaves us even when we get to the bus stops right here in Britain we want to jump the queue not to talk of  a collection of Nigerians coming together.

I have heard and even watched the scam that go on in india.
To be truthful , Nigeria is not as bad as the world think. But according to statistic after bangadas and one other country we are the 3rd most corrupt country.
So our leader must try and improve our public image  so that the country can find its feet.
Its not the citizen faulty that investor dont come in,its the Government.

Even your so called Profs,where they taught in English language?
You might want to go and ask them.
First things first.Its not about getting jobs with English.
Just like a poor command of English will deny you a job in Nigeria.There is currently an international job interview going on now.
ANd the interview is,where should we outsource our business to including customer service.
Your country Nigeria keeps failing the interview even though we speak better English than India and Philipines.
Why have we failed ihe  job interview?
Because we have no basic infrastructures and facilities.The educational system is poor.I repeat poor English command is not sign of a bad educational system.It goes beyond that.

As much as i agree with you that the level of ones education does not determined by the amount of enEnglishpoken,i disagree with you on the issue of Nigeria not being able to get those outsourced jobs .
The reason we can't get those outsource job is basically the SECURITY element.
Customer service involve CONFIDENTIALITYctivities a lot.Nigeria have lost his image in the international market and no COMPANY  wants credit card details ,bank details of it customers to be used for other activities rather than its purpose.
