This is deep-

It is still no excuse for the dogs among men to break their marriage vows by dipping their wayward preeks into every hole that drips moisture. And for you single ladies, stay away from people's husbands. Don't be unfortunate.

It is sad that we are living in a patriarchal society where the odds are deliberately stacked against women. What is sauce for the goose is poison for the gander. Where I come from, a cheating man can commit adultery and get away with it, but a cheating woman will endanger the lives of her husband and children if she commits same adultery and does not confess. The husband and kids may fall sick and die, or his business may suffer severe set backs if he keeps making love to her and eating her food in her unconfessed state of adultery. I don't know if it is programmed on the day of the traditional wedding or of it is an ancestral covenant with unknown deities.

Whatever it is, it just makes me mad! It is so unfair. There should be equal punishment for adulterers angry
It is actually both. It is an ancestral covenant with dieties and yes, it is activated on the traditional marriage day.
This should make u urhobo/ isoko. Some parts of Delta ibo/enugu/ebonyi still practice this

But i take exception to u calling cheating men dogs grin

We talking about the President of a Nation here being in the frontlines. That's not leadership but stupidity. He is not a combatant, Airforce nor Navy. Putting life at risk to such an extent is stupidity.

Only in Africa would you commend such. With all the experts at his disposal, he choose to go to the fronts. Let's imagine a shoot-out happens and he dies, will you say he died as a brave man?

Where is it done in any industry or terrain where a leader who lacks expertise and compentency in a division, take charge.

Like I stated earlier, it's just like applauding MTN CEO for climbing a 100 meter tower because their is a major outage.

It's outrightly stupidity. Nothing warrants him to be in the fronts.
My friend shut up!
U know nothing about leadership.

These oyinbos are crazy

Believe the scientists at your risk..
If you are a scientist, it would have made meaning to you. The vaccines( chicken pox, measles, polio and others) you see now been administered to children are actually attenuated/weakened strain of chicken pox, polio, measles viruses. These weakened strain are injected into the body to elicit immune response (let me break this down)...
When these weakened viruses are injected, your body respond by producing specific antibodies against these specific viruses but because they are in a weakened state, u won't fall ill.
These specific antibodies have already encountered the virus ( e.g measles) so that next time when you encounter the real virulent strain, your body quickly produce that antibody again and destroy the measles viruses. You won't notice it because u didn't fall sick.
This exactly why someone who has had chicken pox cannot never contact it again for life.
Now with this new mindset, read what that man above said again and see if it will make sense.

For that soldier to kill that civilian, the civilian must have trespassed, threatened or attempted to disarm the soldier. It takes a while lot of confrontation for soldiers to pull the trigger at Innocent people. It's usually followed by a series of warning.

JamParkMe:
That person seeking a test right now is an unserious fellow. They are only testing those with symptoms such as fever, cough and body aches who may have been exposed to an infected person. There are very limited number of testing kits to go around, so yes of course screening is selective. Even in America and Europe, they are only testing people with symptoms, so why did your friend think he can just get tested like that?
I don't know how you people reason. Do you know that asymptomatic patients do share the virus? Are u going to test only those with symptoms? What about those who are newly infected without any symptoms and are also transmitting the virus? Is this the best way to stop the spread?
Think critically pls. Is this how south Africa was able to test thousands of persona in few days?
Stop making excuse for the failure of our government.
I even propose that every local government in Nigeria should have testing zone. That way we can curb the spread

Covid19Control:
It has been very difficult for average Nigerians in Nigeria to get tested. In most cases, they are screened out as low priority.

For this reason, we came together to setup a First-Contact service for average Nigerians.

Everything you need to know about our strategy to give full attention to everyone is on our Nairaland thread.

We have repeatedly reached out to persons who indicated that they were experiencing certain Covid-19 associated symptoms, offered medical advise, and channeled the data to the responsible government agencies for immediate intervention.

Here's a link to our thread - https://www.nairaland.com/5761835/fill-form-experiencing-symptoms-covid-19

OP saying they are doing selective screening is right.
Is selective screening appropriate in this kind of situation? YES.

Should they use individual's economic or social status for screening? NO!

Why are they (NCDC) doing it this way?

U just said what i have always mentioned. Our immune system has become so toughened by constant exposure to germs and other similar viruses like common cold virus which is similar to the corvid 19 so that this new corona might not really be that terrible on us.
The virus is in a greater percentage of people but it is asymptomatic
