Well you will be forgiven in your sterotypical thought pattern since you have not bought a car or even used a Honda,brand.
Honda goes head to head in competition with the toyotas in the US and Canada. Go and find out.
They build great engines.
The only thing to note is that Honda dont take abuse. Give it the right parts and fluid and you are good to go.
Some of the models were recalled for particular factory errors. (Transmission).. The accord and civic of 2000 to 2003 models suffered transmission issues. Toyota also had several recalls, more than Honda sef.

Nigerians would speak all the English on social media on why 30k min wage is very necessary and why 19,800 is too small but do very little or nothing to increase the countrys income.

Reduce the cost of governance.
Cut down foreign trips
Reduce bogus salaries and allowance of those in governsnce. Nigerian senators are the highest paid.
Instead of bicameral house why not unicameral.
All this expensive cars and furniture for political officers should be scrapped.

I agree with you. We have to be careful with these clearance sales. Some of them are now more expensive than brand new items in the market.

Intact i am no more buying this fairly used not because they are not good but because Nigerian business men are unscrupulous, greedy and heartless. They would rather bring a dead item so that they can maximize profits.
I will stick with LG/Samsung or if i am on a tight budget, Hisense brand new. If i was in lagos i could have taken the risk in buying a fairly used TV after doing due diligence

I have friends with just one car who gave their wives the car to do school runs while they hop on tricycles and taxis.
Its easier for you to move with public transport than a woman with child/children.

I resigned as a sales manager at a dealership to learn Fashion designing. I ran all forms of errands for my boss and his stylists, even though they won't send me directly, but I would insist to do stuff for them. It made things much easier for me.

So i decided to upgrade my old 37- inch LED TV to a bigger, newer, and better one....My budget was 150k and I didn't care if it was used or new...I sha wanted it at least 10 inches bigger, better and newer than my old one

The major things I was looking out for were:

Low power consumption....if the TV's operating power consumption is more than 50 watts, I am not buying .....I use an inverter so I don't need any yeye TV that will suck my power unnecessarily....I borrowed a watt meter from my nigga to check power consumption as I already knew I cant trust the power rating on TV labels.

Screen mirroring.....I used to think USB playback on a TV was a very big deal until I went to this my uncle's house and saw his son play a full 1080p movie via his phone mirrored to their 60 inch TV...There was no loss in Quality of picture or sound...The mirroring was perfect in all aspects..I then made a mental note that my next TV was gonna have that...Screen mirroring or nothing

HEVC video format playback capability and also ability to read SRT movie subtitle files....Basically 95% of all the TVs I had seen and operated including my old LG cannot play movies in HEVC format or even read SRT movie subtitle files ....That meant I basically had to do a laptop hdmi connection whenever I needed to read movie subtitles and/or play hevcs movie....Too stressful...Life should not be this hard
...So I needed a TV that could play anything playable via USB.. as in anything playable...My HDMI should be strictly for my Playstation

Very good Color accuracy...I can see very well...one doctor said I have 20/20 vision...So I get very irritated if i have to look at a bad screen...exact reason why i stopped personally using laptops with less than 1920×1080p resolution ...So I needed a TV with a good color accuracy, deep blacks, nice viewing angles and sturvs...I needed my new TV to be almost as clear as my 1080p laptop screen ....

Backlight dimming option....I hate having my screens too bright...So my new TV had to have an optional backlight setting....Many TVs i operated didn't have this feature....So their screens ended up being too bright and wasting power...reducing TV backlights reduces eye strain and the TV's power consumption drastically...I cannot come and go and buy something that will damage my near perfect eyesight...never

Nice Upscaling capabilities....I needed a TV that will make even a 200mb movie reasonably watchable on it ..my old TV and many others I had seen did horribly in upscaling...so I made a mental note about that as well

Other stuff I needed in the new TV was at least 3 USB one of which must be USB 3.0, 4 HDMI, memory card slot, ethernet port, functional Wifi, and an acceptable sound output...I cannot buy TV and come and go and be looking for soundbar to buy ....Of what use is a TV if it has pangolo sound...


And i needed the new TV to be at least 55 inches...I kept extra 30k to add to the 150k in case

I wish you can carry out this kind of due diligence by assisting me to get a smart TV. Lol. I am in the south and confused about getting a new hisense or used tv

Wow! This is such an interesting expository. I also remembered when I was yearning to change my 150watts led TV to an energy saver one. But thank God at last I got the best TV when it comes to low power consumption, good picture quality, screen mirror, smartness, play every movie format including SRT subtitles, very good sound quality, inbuilt satellite receiver for free to air which am watching as am typing this piece, it also has a playback when your hard drive is connected to it this feature makes me to pause live programs and even rewind them and can even save them if I like. The power consumption is just 34watts which is the least I've ever seen on a 43 inch t.v, the model is LG 43LH604v. U can never go wrong by choosing this t.v.

Well, although you may not understand but I made a covenant with God while I was praying one night when I was very poor and had no hope that if God can give me a sustainable source of income which is more than enough to take care of my own feeding, I promised to get married. Yes, I was naive to trust someone I met on social media, it was a mistake all single guys should learn from. Take note!!!

To also answer the guy that suggests I must be an angel that had no faults whatsoever, the truth is, we started having problems when she woke me up in the middle of the night one day asking me to promise her she will be the only wife I'm going to marry, without thinking twice knowing full well that she's got spiritual companions and I don't know if they are around to witness my response, I vehemently told her that I can marry as many as I want since our religion allowed that.

Also, immediately we got married, she gave me her two SIM cards and requested I get her another Sim cards without pressuring her to it, this won my heart that she doesn't have the mindset to cheat on me. I was wrong....

Last year was when I got to know she has boyfriend, what I don't know is if she's been sleeping with them.
Among her boyfriend is or was my landlord whom I have his phone number and who never knew her as my wife, the day she packed out was when I knew because the man posted her pictures on his whatshapp status with some heartbreaking words and when I confronted him he apologized that she was the one who called him and offered him the chance for them to date but they are yet to go down.

Secondly, there was a guy she do call her uncle, he works at the ministry of interior in Abuja where we stays but was not present when we had our wedding. She'd once told me that the man is her mother's younger brother which I believed but when she travelled, she left one of her SIM card and I slot it in a phone one day to get a phone number from it, I was so surprised to see numerous messages from this man saying he loves her and some romantic words, I held my calm until she came back cos I don't want to cause another quarrel while she's with her mother.
When I asked her to tell me the relationship between Mr Dapo of the ministry of interior, she maintained her earlier stance that he's her uncle, then I asked if he's her father younger brother or mother, she replied her mother then I laughed and said have you forgotten that your mother is from Ogun state and Dapo is from Ibadan in Oyo state and she was short of words.

So I ordered that I will change her SIM card which she replied by telling me "them no born your mother well to change my SIM card" as usual people came to settle us and that I think is the reason she packed out. Aside that, until she ran out of the house, we had no other quarrels but she told her mum that I slapped her which is far from the truth.
