Wilstino: Before you speculate, Experts says wearing nose mask, only helps prevent an infected person from passing the virus, it does not prevent an uninfected person from contracting it. Hence social distancing and good hygiene is being advocated. This is also the reason people are now advised to wear nose mask.
Hence, you may also look at it from the angle that Mr President is clean and doesn't want anyone meeting with him, to infect him with the virus. Stop saying rubbish. A mask protects ur nose and mouth when u try to touch these entry points with hands that have been infected probably by touching an infected door knob or handle |

ShenTeh: So what I am pointing out is this: The woman is playing god here. Since the man didn't pay the dowry to her but to her people, she cannot quietly pay the man off. She has to go all the way. It's a path she has chosen, and she must trod the whole length.
Listen, marriage is tough, let no one fool you. So is divorce. Choose your tough carefully. My broda. I am not a baby o. I responded that way because i felt that ur position was that it doesn't matter if the dowry is returned or not. In delta state, it is a must that it is returned irrespective of court proceeding. She can't return on her own. Her family will request for the man and his family to come pick up the dowry |

Koralords: That’s so true that’s why even nato member turkey is buying Missile defense system s-400 from Russia ,they do not attach stringent conditions to the sale of weapons like the USA does. And there weapons have proven to be effective ie the Syrian war , Just don’t know why the federal gov does not buy more weapons from them and if they can even employ the Wagner group to fight alongside the army bokoaram would be defeated easily Exactly. Get some mercensries from israeli or even blackwater corps now known as the academi. The foremost mercenary contracting firm in the world. Those s-400 are so damn reliable. It was what actually brought down an airliner over ukrianian air space some yrs back. Our leaders are morons |

ShenTeh: Ah.
Don't collect it. Obviously, the man has not forgiven himself but seeks forgiveness from his woman. He shouldn't stoop to negotiate from the short end of the gun. There should be some pride and vim left in the man; he shouldn't beat himself into allowing the wife pay him off.
If she wants a divorce, let her go the route as mandated by law. Serve the man the right papers and get it vide the court. That would also address the child's issue.
Let no one be the judge, jury prosecution and defendant in his/her own case.
Otherwise, the man should let her roam free. She'll also find that she abandoned a lower evil for the devil himself.
We all later realise that our unforgiving nature is our very own fetters. Its not a matter of paying off. Some custom in the south requires that bride price be returned or it will be deemed that they're still together and if they woman have any sexual relationship in this state, she might suffer repercussion from ancestral arrangement |

noisy45: Even if you buy weapons from America they would instead sell you Russian made weapons there Arms industry fabricates or they americans sell you there outdated weapons. it's a win win for Russia and america They wont sell you Russian weapons, they will, sell you watered-down version of their own weapon or outdated weapons like u mentioned. In the 70s US sold 80 tomcats F-14 jets to Iran who were been disturbed by Russian MIG 25 jets. Not long after the love between US and Iran waxed cold and US stopped manufacturing or selling tomcats parts to any nation in the fear that Iran might get hold of them. Now Iran has 30 tomcats that have become an aging fleet and no parts to sustain them. Now they cannibalize some tomcats to keep others functioning. US has better jets( F-22 and F-35 )now and they wont sell to anyone except maybe israel |

RealLordZeus: You both have valid points but the northerners scenario is a different case, and if you live or have lived in the north you will understand this better. In the South West, the people form vigilante, landlord association etc, they report the slightest suspicion to the police infact at their disadvantage. (I can remember a case of when we caught a boy burgling a house and we reported to the police, the community still contribute up to 20k to the police for reporting Kwa , and this does not deter them for doing so in the future). But in the north , it is a different case, if a thief/criminal is being pursued and get to enter a community, that is likely to be the end of it. They do all sort of coverups there, how many times have u ever heard that they lynched a thief over like we do see in the south! It's a different scenario Well like you rightly said, i haven't lived in the north and i am not looking forward to. If that's their game plan, i wish them luck |

RealLordZeus: Hmmm! In as much as I condemn the action of the NA but the villagers also need to stop harbouring terrorists, it will be very hard to separate chaff from wheat in this case. But if bombing them is the only solution to BH and the villagers are not ready to expose the criminals within themselves, let NA keep bombing them together till they get sense. Its not as easy as you think. Let me give you a scenario. In a neighborhood, must people know who the criminals are but can't point them out for fear of reprisal attacks. In U.S there is the witness protection scheme that gives informants like this protection, relocate them and even change their identity. But in naija, na police go even show the arm robbers the person wey come expose them |

When dealing with financial transactions in issues like this, it is best you transfer the cash from your account to hers. Never give her cash. The simple reason is for evidence purpose later.
Don't pay cash into her account too, always transfer from urs. If a contest comes, she can deny that you gave her any money and may even refused or delay to print her account statement. But if you transferred from your account to her, you can always print statement from your end even if she refused to print her from her account.
Some duluded women are always quick to lie that the man is a low-life bum who is not providing for his kid(s), even if the man is moving heaven and earth Get ur evidence ready. It may come handy some day
Do a DNA test. Very important.
Thirdly, women talk shit sometimes. Try and overlook that before you kill somebori
Good luck.
Nb: another downside of paying cash is that tellers can get torn, faded or even lost. A statement can always be retrieved with the click of few buttons |

Please, let it slide... all the insults you've received and also given is not worth the while on a day like this. Thanks dear Thanks bro for assisting, life something throw rough patches at us one time or the other. I have seen big shots buck under as a result of unexpected trouble. One case will never leave my memory, in 2012, i was working for my boss then. This was a guy that had 4 oil and gas companies and a world class hotel. With all these assets plus other streams of income, he was cash-strapped one day and was looking for 10k like mad. He went to beg a lady at the junction but she turned him down. My oga almost died of shame that day Funny thing is that the lady knews his worth and could easily have provided that cash and the hotel even use to buy lots of stuff from her store. Anyway,That was the end of patronage. I just told this little story to show that it could happen to anyone. I have been there before and its not funny So ifyjos calm down.
