Omo_Tier1:
If to say mu mu get grade, most Nigerians for dey get A******* like them oyinbo dey get am for their A levels baked beans exams! Many are looking at the looks as thought the competition is soley based on looks! How many of you have taken time to read the rules and guidlines of the competition?

That the girl looks beautiful doesnt mean she will win Miss World! Take your time to read the rules and how they score points to be crowned the winner!

Yes we know that the girl representing Nigeria may not be the most beautiful girl in Nigeria again can one say Obama being the Presiednt of the USA makes him the most intelligent man in the USA? Competitions made of rules and if you fail to play by the rules, you may end up being at the bottom end of the ladder!

P.S: I do not think Miss Nigeria is that ugly either, she looks like someone with a charming personality which sometimes makes the difference in this competition.
What a load of rubbish!
PoliticsRe: C N N :: Flooding Displaces Nearly 700 People In Nigeria by namski(m): 10:17am On Oct 17, 2010
Probably a good thing that happened with the flooding. Should afford an opportunity for the place to be rebuilt if the state government has the will to go all the way. People might loose their homes, but abeg everybody must not be in Lagos.

He didn't go on TV, he was secretly filmed and the video broadcast on Sky news. He looked like a fool and sat like a bushman; its such a pity we have such clowns representing us. You should see the video, the man had all the grace of someone lethargically milking cows behind a hut.
^^^^^^ rotflmao!

The guy is a complete fool. What a shame! Just trying to figure out what was going on in his dumb head when he was demanding for the dough. Anyway we have shown to the world again what we are made of. SHAME!!!

@James1, please what are the senseless FIFA rules you refer to? On this particular issue, you may need to watch the video first and then judge (check BBC website).

Car TalkRe: My Car Is Consuming Water At A Rapid Rate by namski(m): 11:21pm On Oct 15, 2010
The car is just thirsty. Just administer more water. You may consider converting the back seat into a water tank, that way you may never have to top it up regularly. lol!!!

Idrico:
I drive 1996 Camry, the car goes off when i am always in traffic, what could be the cause.expert advice needed please
My guess is that your exhaust gas re-circulation valve is blocked and needs changing (Cleaning the EGR valve works, but can only serve as a temporary solution). Whilst not sure of the exact technology used in your '96 Camry, there is a tendency that the EGR would have failed. A few things you might check:-
1. what is the idling rpm of your car now? ( It should normally idle between 500-900rpm)
2. is the check engine warning light on?

You can search google for EGR problems on '96 Camry and see what other owners describe as the symptoms - that may help guide you better.
CareerRe: How Smart And Skilled Is The Nigerian Worker, Actually? by namski(m): 10:56pm On Oct 15, 2010
@OP, your dad is perfectly right.

If anyone disagrees with me, then start by telling us your job specification and how you go about it.
EducationRe: Sex education is immorality teaching in disguise. by namski(m): 10:20pm On Oct 15, 2010
For some reasons my tendencies will normally be towards the left on this issue. But having thought of this with my head and not with my heart, I will support the continued teaching of sex education. It's a changing world we are in and the advantages will out-weigh any disadvantages.
CareerRe: A Nigerian Bank Killed Its Staff by namski(m): 9:55pm On Oct 15, 2010
Whilst very sad the story of this lady's death, the issue of fighting against the bank to me is a classical case of "a fowl being cooked in a pot; instead of the fowl picking quarel with the knife that killed it, it instead decided to bend its neck for the pot". My point here, being that whatever ill treatment we may perceive here as metted out on this poor lady was largely encouraged by the poor state of affairs in Nigeria.

@bidemi12, you are on the point.

PoliticsRe: More Ex-bank Chiefs Will Be Jailed – Sanusi by namski(m): 9:19pm On Oct 12, 2010
Not only the sacked bank chiefs. Prof C. Soludo must go to jail as well, so should all the pastors in the various churches encouraging these idiots to be stealing money. I remember clearly that Arthur Anderson went down for various nondisclosures relating to the former Enron Corp. Please what has happened to the various rouge accounting firms that certifies the books of these banks? Many people must surely be jailed, MUST!!!

@martinosi, you are an ignorant fool. People like you should lock urselves in doldrums of irrelevance where u rightly belong. You keep repeating Canary Wharf to tell us what? That you are a night security officer (not even SIA qualified) at Canary Wharf ba? If real bankers should come out to talk you will also line up ur dirty ass to join them. mumu!!!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria: Third Fastest Growing Economy In The World - Imf by namski(m): 7:45pm On Oct 11, 2010
IMF - false economy!!! I would not take anything said by IMF serious. Anyway Nigeria could be doing well, but I do not think that the rating as third fastest growing economy is very necessary for now. The important thing is stable, consistent and transparent governance with the will to champion nation building. All other things will follow.

@ajanlekoko, well done.

BusinessLoan Business Regulation In Nigeria by namski(op): 2:22pm On Sep 28, 2010
I am planning to start a Lending Business in Nigeria. My intention for the company is to provide small loans to individuals (not businesses) which will be redeemable on a 30-day month basis for a very reasonable interest charge. I know that a lot of businesses and individuals are engaged in this sort of business, however I would like to find out if this business is regulated in Nigeria. If it is, does anyone know which government (or otherwise) body that regulates this kind of business?

Your responses are more than welcome. Thanks.

SportsRe: Italy 1 Vs New Zealand 1: 20th June, 2010 @ World Cup by namski(m): 4:57pm On Jun 20, 2010
the result of a match is only known at the end of the match. new zealanders are not in S/Africa as observers, but to play football and fully represent there nation and that is what they have done today.

I am liking S/Africa 2010 for the surprises so far. England to loose to Slovenia next - who wan bet?
