chewing stick will more than do a good job! ![]() Being serious, clean soft cloth with a smear of baby toothpaste is what you need for a start and then introduce toothbrush later, say about 15months. But be prepared as your baby will swallow almost everything, although it should not be a source of worry to you so far you stick to baby tooth paste. |
Proven! The girl is guilty of the accusation. She definitely did it and I tell you guys one thing, she is not remorseful one bit - dont mind her face book comments. I recommend more negative publicity of the girl's name, my only concern is that she might not be going with her real name. Anyway beware of Tomi P Okoye, she is FRAUDULENT!!! |
Emmaamaechi:Homo!. Dis na naija o, no room for you. vivaladiva:Na your tongue and lips I dey pity! Centkaycee:Abeg wetin bi your own? |
@ Poster, my input will be that any job application process for which you will have to write a test first, will pretty much be an entry position. So the pay most likely, might not be that fantastic. If I were you, I will pay more attention to growth prospects the position/job offers. |
Odiaero, sorry. The cheap publicity you sought has failed catastrophically. Ndo! |
I have no business with kissing. |
Simple answer - ignorance is our major problem. Interesting lines from wikipedia (that's if you want to bother with wikipedia) Correlations with left-handedness Left-handedness and intelligence In his book Right-Hand, Left-Hand, Chris McManus of University College London argues that the proportion of left-handers is increasing and left-handed people as a group have historically produced an above-average quota of high achievers. He says that left-handers' brains are structured differently in a way that increases their range of abilities, and the genes that determine left-handedness also govern development of the language centres of the brain. In 2006, researchers at Lafayette College and Johns Hopkins University in a study found that right-handed men are 15 percent poorer than left-handed men for those who attended college, and 26 percent poorer if they graduated. The wage difference remains unexplained, and appears to apply to women. Left-handedness and politics Main article: Handedness of Presidents of the United States Of the seven most recent U.S. Presidents, four have been left-handed, including the incumbent Barack Obama, while a fifth is said to have been ambidextrous. David Cameron, Prime Minister of Britain, is also left-handed. |
they are all rubbish! |
Na waa o! This one is news to me as I do not have the faintest idea that other things go one behind the scene for NL. Maybe it's time I call for help on how to go about the relship thing as I need one now. So, if it will be from NL, then why not. |
@oparaji, is that your understanding of how the civil society works. Why not go advice the girl to make an attempt at suing either Nairalanders or the poster for what for, libel abi slander? Abeg go drink ijebu garri make your eye clear!!! |
There is need to be cautious with this over-ambitious development plan of Gov Fashola. Whilst progressive and appealling at first sight, a nation cannot be built in a day and therefore need to take it slow and steady. The huge debt being accumulated as a result of this aggressive development program raises concerns from my perspective. We have witnessed recent examples of the Dubai and Greece crisis due to massive debt over-hang. Anyway, good one Gov Fashola, just need to be cautious. |
I love the title Biafran Son/Daughter Won In The British Election, See it the way you wish, Biafra will never die. @nopuqeater, what a load of rubbish you are talking about. |
You did not have to pay any money to the damn girl. Did you agree to pick the bills in the first instance? Anyway give me the girl's facebook name and let me invite her and see the devil wey she dey worship that will make me give her one kobo. |

Excellent job. Will buy one of these. |

The rule is not to love before you find love. Therefore what you do in this instance is move on to the next person. |

Please forumites, this guy only asked a very simple question and if you do not have answers for him why not keep quiet. DO any of you know who this employer is, how they advertised for the position, and conducted the interviews. If this guy (Sid) saw the advert, applied for it, was called for an interview and was found suitable for the job and given the offer, please o, what is the need for all this naija sentiments I percieve here. The world is a global village now and everyone is free to apply to any job in any part of the world. Naija jobs for Nigerians, I very much support, however so far there is no practise of selective recruitment, then anyone from any part of the world is free to apply. Maybe we should start asking questions about the quality of education we receive in Nigerian universities - the one that is so good that almost every Nigerian is now taking further studies outside of Nigeria. |
@ Maitema, If Zenith so cherishes it's public image, then things like this should have been addressed before any staff member even complains about it. If your comments implies your sense of judgement of issues, then you have an even bigger issue than Zenith Bank. Please can you justify the reason why an employer should hold back on its staff salaries. And for the records, please read my earlier comments and tell me how I have supported fraud - the topic of this thread is 'Zenith Bank Refuses to Pay Members of Staff Profit Sharing and the original posters reference to fraudulent activities at the Bank was only to demonstrate how some Zenith Staff members have decided to take their own share of the profit. If you had been too lazy to have read all the comments on this thread before posting your uncoordinated comments, then maybe you should do so now before your next. All these reported fraudulent activities are simply as a result of a natural reaction in response to an employer's irrational and irresponsible attitude. If anyone is supporting or perpetrating fraud they do so at their own peril as it is criminal to do so. I fully support Zengurl with how she has decided to address her own grievance, however I did advice her to leave the bank if she could not take it anymore. There can never be any justification for an employer with-holding its staff salaries. If it's early signs of distress then let us know. I said it earlier and still refrain it again, Zenith is a smoke screen. |
what a load of rubbish!!!! Genevieve ko, Dbanj ni!!!! Two confused people. abi based on Naija celebs? |
@Maitema, the poster has got every reason to be acrimonious as you are implying. If it is you that is being owed your hard earned salary, please are you likely to be saying the sort of rubbish you have just posted. Mind you that this is salary that we are talking about and not some charity donation. If the poster decides to go on a smear campaign, please she has got every reason to do so. If Zenith or the likes of you feel that the reaction is out of place, then let them (Zenith) or you, go and advice them on how to be more transparent in their dealings with people that have got responsibilities to fulfil. |
To put things into some perspective as it appears that most of us do not appear to see where the original poster is coming from. At Zenith bank, if your annual salary is say, N1m. A breakdown of this salary will be something of this sort, Upfront - 300k, monthly salaries - 30k (x12=360k), base profit sharing - 300k (multiplied by a performance factor - see explanation below) and then others which includes medical allowance making up the rest 40k. Therefore if there is a denial of profit sharing in Zenith Bank, it means that staff do not get 100% of their annual salaries. Zenith could do better by announcing that they are slashing salaries by a third, at least these poor staff members could plan their lives better within there means and not hope on an income they would not receive. To still throw more light on the profit sharing, especially with reference to the performance factor I referred to above. If your base profit sharing is 300k, it is possible that you could receive anything from 50% to 150% of that base depending on your performance (this was the practice some 6years ago while I was still with the bank, so may have changed). And if you appreciate the enormous targets set for these people, then you could only imagine how many that even end up receiving 100% of their base so called profit sharing. The reality is that many end up with less and therefore effectively taking home less than what is on paper as their annual salary. We might blame the economic reality as the reason for this, but for me personally I strongly believe that Zenith Bank is a 'Smoke Screen' and while I cannot substantiate this stance yet, there is still nothing out there that suggests otherwise. Only time will tell. I left the bank and infact the entire banking industry in Nigeria for reasons not far from what everyone has said above. On a final note to Poster - I do not believe that fraud is the best thing to do. Just quietly leave the bank is you cannot take it any longer. Cheers. |
Forumites and fellow Nigerians, Do you guys think that it will be a good idea for Nigeria to bail out Greece. By bail out, I don't mean the type EU (eurozone nations) and IMF is proposing, which is more of a loan to the ailing nation, rather I mean providing money to Greece in the sense of buying equity in a company. Doing this will mean that Nigeria will own part of Greece and by extension, Nigeria could absorb Greece as part of Nigeria. Guys you know what this means - free EU citizenship for all Nigerians, abi no bi so? I think it will be a wise investment with an uncapped benefits to all Nigerians. Wetin una think about this idea? Oh sorry!, I just woke up from my dream - did I say Nigeria to bail-out Greece? How that one wan take happen? ![]() |
