@Nanaman . It seems i answered some of your questions inside your writeup I'm sorry about that. IT gets me all jittery like mathematics.

No qualms ma'am.

You have all the required to take off. You need an identity and the only way you can be recognised out of our shores is your unique identity by making use of technology, which is your company's website hence, the need to have one that states all about your job.

Its not rocket science ma'am,since you can browse and make use of the computer, you have nothing to fear. Give the job to a trustworthy web designer and register your business or company name.

Be rest assured of quick and fast response from clients around the world even those you didn't submit proposal to, because your website speaks volume about your job.

I don't know much about web design. Would do my little research and update.

Am also a trustworthy person,a graduate seeking for job and an entrepreneur. Incase, you have any job or assignment to be carried out in any part of the country, I am available at any time.

Seems I understand her.

Before anyone can understand. Answer these questions

What type of projects did you handle?

Was it physical or online?

With the trust you talked about, seems it involves huge amount of money, right?

If yes,did they pay you unfront or pay later?

If no,how was the cash handled?

Can the jobs/stuffs/deals/projects be replicated to other organisations in that click or circle?

You want to earn trust from organisations like that, you need to check if they need the goods and services you render then you write a good proposal making references to jobs you have done before that earned your trust.

Do you need a website? Yes. Just get a good web designer, let him/her put the samples of jobs you have done in the past, get feedbacks from those organisations in form of short writings and pictures that could be added to the website.

You register a business name or company (I can assist you), get your letter head, stamp and business card.

Ma'am,you're now the CEO of your desired and long awaited company.

I hope it helps...!!!

I think we that ended our submission with a blank page can wait for like 72 hours whether they will update our Applications since it also took them a long time before sending activation mails... Between now and Wednesday, if the Application has not been updated I think we will have no other choice than to re-register again... Good morning everyone

My thought as well.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Unable To Create Account On The Federal Civil Service Recruitment Portal by nanaman(m): 9:21am On Sep 22, 2016
To be sincere,we have problem with our leaders. They are old, they refuse to retire or learn the basic of developing technology hence this problem with registration. You can see coys with new blood like FIRS,you wonder if what those guys did was magic but just basic computer engineering.

Nigerian youths, let us take our destiny in our hands. Whenever they want to effect nepotism or any form of corruption that is the way it begins. Immigration palava was swept under the carpet where life were lost and huge amount was looted yet nobody is asking question because my sister or your brother was not among the dead.

My people, let us come up with a new strategy else, our children will not forgive us. This is not about Buhari or Amosun or Masari or Okorocha or Wike. It is about US and our FUTURE.

FCSC you fall our hand gidi gan.

OP Many universities in the s/w offers I/R such as LASU, BABCOCK, AJAYI, UNAD, UNIOSUN, UNILORIN. about other course you can choose the article here might be of help www.piousjobs..com

Most of all the above Uni don't offer International Relations (single major) rather History and Inter-Rel or Political Science and International Relations. OAU,Oduduwa University and Convenant University am certain of.

Op,make use of NUC website of Nysc site. There you will confirm the Universities that offer International Relations (single major).

@tanimola22 @pato504 What chances do I have as a graduate of international relations? I'm actually thinking of Lecturing in international relations, Sociology or Law as a career. Law to me isn't a possibility as i'll need to start from scratch...Sociology on the other hand, to me might be possible if I decide to take BSC in it starting from 200 level applying with my poor grades from international relations...I really need to you to put me on track. I sometimes feel I've waisted those years. Advise me please...Thanks! Email is damolux01@gmail.com

Fellow diplomat. I also have the intention of delving into lecturing after my youth service. I have to decide quickly and I need you guys to kindly advise.

I graduated with a good grade in a Private University in Nigeria major in International Relations. The University is offering myself and a lady the oppurtunity to lecture as graduate assistant after service with a condition that we commence our MBA programme in the Uni.

Seriously, its a good way to start once career but my plan from onset was to study Law (graduate entry 3yrs) and then put in for Masters in Law and International Relations in Australia.

I'm at crossroads. Do I accept the offer or I gain two yrs experience with the Uni,have my MBA before I proceed on my intial plan or I reject the offer and go ahead with my plans?

Kindly advise. Thank you

Politics / Non-aligned Movement (NMA) Summit Opens In Crisis-torn Venezuela by nanaman(m): 8:30pm On Sep 17, 2016
The Non-Aligned Movement was formed during the Cold War, largely on the initiative of then-Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito, as an organization of States that did not seek to formally align themselves with either the United States or the Soviet Union, but sought to remain independent or neutral. The basic concept for the group originated in 1955 during discussions that took place at the Asia-Africa Bandung Conference held in Indonesia. Subsequently, a preparatory meeting for the First NAM Summit Conference was held in Cairo, Egypt from 5-12 June 1961.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Six Years After Graduation Yet No Job, I Think It Is Time I Delve Into Crime by nanaman(m): 8:00am On Sep 17, 2016
Op,I really understand your situation like every other person. You think you're the only one that is fustrated and hopeless in this country. No,you ain't. There are lots of graduates out there including me but has someone said, wetin we go do? The answer remains,we keep hope alive.

If I tell you my story, you will drop your crime intentions and start writing projects or desertations to students. Yes,you have tried all avenues,it looks hard and difficult. My mother will say, just add extra to your effort in every new step you take and be positive at all times.

The crime you have in mind is Gboy, right? I laugh in swahili. You ask why,if those boys tell you what they do to get money, you would marvel or wouldn't belief.

Though you must have read about them online thinking your vastness would give you an edge. Bro, Gboy is not by book or vastness. Yes,its pays if you hit a good client but what of the aftermath.? Your conscience (if you have one) will continue to judge you especially when you use it in raising a family and all of sudden, everthing crumbles. Then, you will get more fustrated and hope you add "extra" to your effort wayback. If you get caught, your name, your reputation and your household would reject you because no one wants to be associated with a criminal.

Bro, I have tolled that path before. Don't ever let crime cross your mind again. You will SURELY regret it.

My advice, there are still good spirited nairalanders. Talk to them privately, ask for small capital to start something you have passion for or read through the business section there are lots of people looking for writers on thier blog. Lots of teaching jobs in the vacancy section. If you have Masters, private school recruit every now and then. Use links on nairaland to get connected.

Pls,have a little more patience. Imagine God was going to test you for 7yrs before your breakthrough and at the last minute, you want to change your mind.

This is my 10th year on wheelchair. Yes,10yrs. I'm paraplegic on T10-L1 level ( I know you understand that as a vast reader). Today, I'm a gradute, an entreprenuer (started in school), blogger (NL folks assisted me) and awating my youth service.

I passed through the test. You also can do same, if only you can add "extra" to your effort.

All is well bro..

One thing i still don't understand about this MMM is how they make the 30% they give everyone. Cause even people who ask for help don't pay back with interest so how do they make profit and also get 30% to pay everyone?

That's the same question that runs through my mind anytime I read comments about the scheme. A whopping 30% as interest ? Am baffled.

My answer remains, awoof dey run belle oo...!

We can only watch and see how it ends. What I know is,some people would pay hard when it crumbles.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton fell ill during a memorial service marking the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and left abruptly, inserting new speculation about her health into a presidential campaign in which Republican Donald Trump has called her weak and unfit.

Video of Clinton’s hurried departure from the Ground Zero memorial showed her buckling and stumbling as she got into her van. Clinton’s campaign issued a statement from her doctor later Sunday revealing that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier

Politics / N230m Pension Fraud In Kogi State by nanaman(m): 9:18pm On Sep 11, 2016
Despite a massive bailout by the Federal Government last year, dozens of states including Kogi State still cannot pay their workers for many months. The states were in dire straits by the middle of last year with most of them being unable to pay workers and carry out basic functions of government. But despite this, most of these states are still unable to pay workers salaries. The most affected workers are primary and secondary school teachers, health workers, pensioners and traditional rulers among others.

Career / Re: Just Start Something!!! (felisterisike..com) by nanaman(m): 10:04am On Sep 10, 2016
isikefelister:
Greatness is only possible for whoever starts something. Great companies started small. Some of them started in their sitting rooms, warehouses, dormitories, garages and so on. Many of them have unimaginable beginnings - Google was a PhD project and incorporated in the garage of a friend at Menlo Park; Dell computer started in one of the dormitories of the University of Texas; Coca Cola emerged in a bid to find a substitute for a problematic drug called Morphine and the Coca Cola recipe was formulated at a drugstore in Columbus, Georgia. The list is endless.

Do not be shackled by the chain of job security. It is an illusion - there is no job security anywhere. Stop allowing people to determine what you do with your life. Your employer largely determine what you do with your life - the kind of food you eat; the school your children attend; the apartment in which you live; the places you travel to; the type of car you drive. It is not wrong to start as an employee but it is damning, limiting, disadvantageous and destructive to remain an employee. Your salary is meant to be saved to start your own establishment; it is not meant to be spent recklessly. I hope you will not be submitting your CV at age of 40. If everybody was an employee, who would create jobs and feed the nation? Take it or leave it, employees are modern slaves who do the bidding of their employers. The only difference is that they now wear suits and knot ties with no chain around their neck.

They eagerly look forward to Fridays and hope that Monday will never come again. Some people even bank on their pensions. My dear, the pension scheme is a ponzi scheme whereby the current generation of employees payback the pensions of past generations. GOD help you the future generations are incapacitated to pay your pension, it will be very sad. Wake up, your pension is not reliable. There are visible evidence of retired government workers who are suffering now after spending years in different government and private establishments. Take a clue from them and be wise.

Start something from where you are with what you have - you can start with that little savings in your account. For how long are going to wait to start something? You can do better than you are doing right now. Do not be afraid to go solo and start something on your own. Stop selling your labour - it is shameful that you graduated with a good grade from a higher institution and you cannot create a job with your seemingly superior mental power. Many first class and second class graduates have the brain power but they are weak in their mind to start a company, to create a job even to save their own future.

They excelled in an academic setting and regimented examinations but they are cringing in the real world and constantly failing real life examinations and tests. Is not that an irony? Take your destiny into your hands. I can bet it with you that you will later regret every indecision, procrastination, fear of failure, the lack of gut; excuses being given by you and the blame game which you are playing now. Before now, President Goodluck Jonathan was the reason people were giving to excuse their personal failures and ineptitude but now, President Buhari is the latest song on people's lips. keep blaming the government while you fail at your responsibilities. Leave the government alone and look inward - government will never be perfect. May GOD help everyone of us. Do not forget that It is never too late to start something. I love you all. Thanks for reading the article.

God bless you..!
