That Arondizuogu to Akokwa area has become so volatile recently.
For those who don't know, Ideato is Rochas Okorochas zone. He's from Ideato Sout, which used to be part of the old Ideato Local Government comprising both Ideato North and Ideato South.

A close friend of mine was shot dead around this area during the Christmas festivities. Many armed robbery attacks around the area. Obviously, a well trained hardened set of criminals have been introduced in the bushes around these areas. The bushes here go all the way to Okigwe.

Hope Uzodinmgba is having a running battle with a lot of political figures from Ideato area. Not just with Rochas. And Ideato is part of the old Orlu zone where both Hope and Rochas and Udenwa and the Ugochinyere guy whose house was burnt few days ago , come from. Even Tony Ezenna of Orange drugs who once in a while dabbles into politics is from Akokwa.

Eze Duruiheoma, a big PDP stalwart is also from Ideato South! So for Hope Uzodimma to deliver any sizeable number of votes for APC during the presidential election or for his fledging second term bid, he must suffocate these characters and command Ideato, which has some of the biggest votes in Orlu zone! You get it now?

But the man the was killed was appointed by Hope and he is a good friend to the Governor, so accusing Hope is illogical.
Until we stop exonerating the primary suspects from this wickedness going on in Imo state, this evil will not stop.

Uzodimma’s SkillUpImo Project receives private sector support

SkillUpImo Project, the youths digital skills empowerment programme being implemented under the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma’s administration as the Executive Governor of Imo State, has received fresh boost and appeal with private sector players already keying into the vision to turn Imo State into a leading digital hub in Nigeria.

Two individuals, Chief Leo Stan Ekeh, Founder of Zinox Technologies and Mr. Innocent Chibuzor Unoha, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inno & Bisco Groups, have demonstrated their support to the State Government’s vision to transform Imolites (Imo State citizens) into global citizens with relevant digital skills in the 21st Century.

Ekeh made a cash donation of N12.5 million to the State’s Ministry of Digital Economy and E-government, the ministry implementing the SkillUpImo Project, to support the effort of the State Governor in training and empowerment of Imolites with employability skills in emerging and mainstream technologies.

Ekeh’s Zinox Technologies is one of Africa’s most integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company, first Nigerian internationally-certified ICT firm also rated as a leading ICT firm in Africa as a whole.

Ekeh, an illustrious son of Imo State and Forbes rated billionaire and IT guru, has supported the Imo digital initiative not just financially but has job opportunities awaiting 200 graduate trainees of the SkillUpImo project with specialisation in phone repairs, digital marketing, and so on.

The SkillupImo Project is the premier human capacity development programme focused on empowering Imolites with cutting-edge digital skills that will keep them relevant in the 21st century with the target to, among others, train 300,000 Imolites over the next three years. They would be trained in both entry and advanced-level digital skills such as computer appreciation, device repairs and maintenance, content creation, web design and development, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, Cybersecurity and so on in order to drive ICT-enabled social economic growth and development in the State.

Imo, Korean firm strike deal on $7bn Smart City


A South Korean group, Grace Bridge WID Limited, has concluded plans with the Imo state government to set up a Smart City in the state.

This followed the successful visit of the Commissioner for Budget, Planning and Statistics, Dr C.C. Osuala, to South Korea recently during which modalities for the establishment of the business hub was discussed.

The commissioner, who disclosed this to Blueprint over the weekend, said a memorandum of understanding was signed after a return visit to the state by the Koreans.
He said the state’s prudence in budgeting, which had since been acknowledged by the World Bank through the internationally acclaimed award of States’ Fiscal Transparency Accountability System (SFTAS), led to the interest shown by the Koreans.

Describing the proposed Smart City project as “first of its kind in Africa”, Dr Osuala said the project would cost 7 billion US Dollars and would be sited in a 2,000 hectare land in Mbaitoli local government area of the state, adding that it would create 5,000 jobs for Imo indigenes in particular and Nigerians in general.


He listed the features of the Smart City project to include a 24/7 power supply with hydro and solar energy running simultaneously, a FIFA standard stadium, an Olympic sized swimming pool, world class high rise hospitals, with helipads where helicopters would be landing to pick patients and other high rise edifices; educational institutions to be populated with people from different continents; adequate security, among others.

The commissioner said the Korean investors would fund it and eventually recoup what they spend through the sales they would organise, especially as very important personalities would be coming from different parts of the world to patronise the services that would be available in the city.

The joy of residents of Ihitte Mbieri, Ezi Mbieri, Awo Mbieri, Obazu Mbieri, Amaike Mbieri, Umueze Mbieri, Obi Mbieri all in Mbaitoli East knew no bound on Tuesday, when Dr. Onyewuchi Asinobi popularly called Mayor of Mbieri the Coordinator of Mbaitoli East and other prominent sons of the community, officially flagged off the rehabilitation and grading of Mbaitoli East roads.

Notably, this road rehabilitation projects which was sponsored by Chief Sir Onyewuchi Asinobi popularly called Mayor of Mbieri Gburugburu and uncle to the coordinator of the Development Area, Prince Dr Ngozi Achukoa USA based have received commendation across the length and breathe of the Area .

Dr Asinobi , the Mayor of Mbieri, while declaring the exercise open explained that, the essence of the road is to ease the movement of their People during this festive season and also support the government of Imo state in his determination to rehabilitate rural roads in the 27 local government area of Imo state.

Dr. Asinobi further advised the good people of Mbieri to be united and support the government of Senator Hope Uzodimma and the coordinator Chief Ugonna Achuko who according to him, are doing their best to better the lives of the masses.

Also speaking, the Mbaitoli Local government area SOLAD, Hon. Hamilton Opara, described the rehabilitation as good and a welcomed development.

He also affirmed that it is time for everyone to join hands in fixing Imo state for the good of all persons. “time of politics has gone, let us join hand in developing our LGA, Imo state ” He said.

In his remarks, the Mbaitoli Local Government Development Center Coordinator, Hon Chief Ugonna Achuko said, that his office is there to partner with spirited good individual to bring development and progress to his people.

He called upon all and sundry to support the shared prosperity government of Senator Hope Uzodimma to continuously enjoy the dividends of democracy.

On his part, Hon. Emma Soronadi , the Governor’s Liason Officer ,GLO in Ezinihitte ward thanked Governor Hope Uzodinma for keeping to his electioneering promises in the state .

Soronadi who was full of praises for Mayor Asinobi expressed satisfaction at the gesture, saying that the work would make movement easy and lead to the economic advancement of the community.

After weeks of being away from Imo state, I came back this week. In the morning I plied through Naze junction to wetheral junction. I noticed that the sand on the road in that axis has been evacuated.
I also noticed that sanity has been restored in wetheral junction. The roadside traders blocking the road have been removed and it was generally looking clean.
I also noticed the same at fire service junction.
Plying through the same axis in the evening my countenance changed. Wetheral junction axis and fire service junction that was looking so clean was totally the opposite in the evening.
Pure water sachet was littered all over those junctions, I became infuriated.
Why do people behave like animals?
How will a normal human being feel comfortable by disposing filths on the road?
It's appalling..

Also, I observed that the Okada men at Naze junction are constituting nuisances. I urge the government to totally ban Okada in that axis after the roads in Ogboshishi and Ihiagwa axis has been constructed.

Subsequently, I plied through bank road and noticed that it's being resurfaced and remarked,it's quite commendable.

I lost my uncle and the night he died, I had a dream where I saw him helpless on a bed, the one in my grandma's room cos she had two. He was beckoning to me to like help him off his current state... I was like that for some minutes till he stood up and left the room. I heard footsteps but not the door opening or closing. That was one of the scariest moments I've experienced.

Year 2020, I think around may according to his parents because I can't recollect, this neighbor of ours and close friend to my sibling was into cultism.
There's was a cult clash at ikorodu that year and he lost his life, I wasn't told I was there life when police released his corpse to his parents and I was even part of those who digged the grave he was buried. Two years ago oo..

I then went to use ciprofloxacin again and I started developing rashes on my forehead again, I used the same cream and it turned to dark spots. After the whole thing I started feeling very hot around my neck and chest every morning and it only reduces anytime and walk around or Jog, there was no sweat whatsoever.

I haven't tested yet cos I believe my risk is such a low risk, some even said I had no risk but I have kept having panic attacks evevrythime and I am also scared of running a test.

Please Doctors in the house what infection could it be and what are the odds that it could be HIV under such circumstances?

Swollen lymph nodes are one of the symptoms of viral infections, I urge you to go for test, don't be afraid. If it turns out positive start taking your drugs immediately to suppress the viral load. It might get to a point the virus will be undetected through rapid test. You will live a normal life.
If the results are negative, go for another test after 3 months..

After the establishment of Oguta Naval base, imo state government in collaboration with private investors wants to establish a seaport at oguta, but the Urashi river needs dredging,

FG has graciously approved the dredging of the river channel, charting of the river is in progress.

Imo is being positioned to be the economic zone of southern Nigeria, God bless Imo state, may Imo succeed and take it's rightful place in Nigeria. PROUDLY IMOLITE.

The government should construct more roads and ensure that the roads are standard because we Ndi Imo want the best, we crave for the best.
