The 5th Anniversary of the Maiden Pastoral Visit and Blessing of a New Chapel and Rectory of His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Dennis Isiuzo (Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese), at St. Peter's Catholic Parish Enugo - Ojoto. On Sunday 09/ 17/ 2017, in Ordinary Time Year A in Catholic Calendar.

The Anniversary Celebration started at about 10:00am with Holy Mass Procession by Rev. Fr. Aloysius Uzodike, Administrator at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Enugo-Ojoto. The Holy Mass began with a special greetings to all the congregations present, and recognitions of dignitaries was noted:

>High Chief Sir Gerald Mbamalu (KSM, Nnayelugo, Ichie Okaa-Omee II, Ogene Ojoto II, Ojoto Regent),
>High Chief and Lady Nwafeenna Romeo Anyisia (KSM, Ichie Obododike II, Okanga Ojoto),
>Chief Dennis A. Okafor (Ide Ojoto),
>Chief and Mrs Paulinus Agbanajelu (Omeluora Ojoto),
>Chief and Mrs Sunday Ezeagu (Adiddas Nwachinemelu),
>Chief Sir and Lady Ignatius Onwuasoeze (Ugonwanne),
>Sir, Dr. and Lady P.C. Anyalowu (KSJI),
>Chief Sir and Lady Nchedo Orakpor (KSJI),
>Sir and Lady Leonard Ezekwelu (KSM) and others.

The first Reading was taken from the Book of Sirach 27:33-28:9 followed by a responsorial Psalm (Psalm: 103). The Second Reading was taken from the Book of Roman. 14: 7-9 followed by Alleluia! Alleluia!! (Jn. 13:34). The Gospel Reading was taken from the Book of Matthew. 18:21-35, after that a brief reflection from the Bishop which was centered on "forgiveness and healing remedy". His Lordship urge the congregations of Ojoto community to always forgives; for who forgives, is of God, but whoever fails to forgive is not from God, and cannot received favours from God, he further said that unforgiving heart yields Anger, Wrath, Vengeance and other forms of violence. The fire from unforgiving heart consumes everyone around him, both the offender and the offended. But if forgiveness is brought to the fore, there will be healing, restoration and peace for all, especially the once who forgives. He also urge our children to always pray their Rosary. The congregations of children complained of not having Rosary and he told them to collect money from their parents and get Rosary.

The Pastoral Visitation also involved the Blessing and Opening of a New Chapel and Rectory. The Blessings and Opening of the Rectors House by His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Dennis Isiuzo the Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese. Chief Gerald promised to furnish the Rectors House, Drill Borehole for the church and also promised the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Naira Only (₦400, 000.00), for buying of Rosary to all the children in St. Peter's Catholic Parish Enugo-Ojoto. According to Chief Gerald, I quote:

"I thanks God Almighty for a privilege to be here today, as the beatitude sums up today's lesson on forgiveness, for forgiveness bring peace; Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy (Matt. 5:7). And also urge the children to pray their Rosary for the betterment of Ojoto Community. In other words, as we forgive so we shall be forgiven, just as the measure we give so is the measure we receive. The highest use of capital is not to make much money, but to make money for the betterment of life. I am donating Four Hundred Thousand Naira Only, (₦400, 000.00) for buying of Rosary for all the children in St. Peter's Catholic Parish Enugo-Ojoto in order for them not to collect money from their parents to buy Rosary. I will also furnish the Rectors House and Drill Borehole for the church, because the purpose of life is to make use of what God has given to us especially for the betterment of others."

The Anniversary which experienced Dance performance, Speech presentation, Award presentation and others was light up with a superlative performance by St. Peters Catholic Choir and Rock of Ages Band at St. Peters Catholic Church CWO.

Hon. Festus Obierike Dynasty presented some gifts on behalf of Senator Annie Okonkwo. The donation was two cows as part of Senator's appreciation to his Lordship. His Lordship said he will like to have a hand shake with Senator Annie Okonkwo in his next visit and noted that Ojoto Community are friendly people.

His Lordship thank the CWO members, Planning Committee Members, Parish Councilors, Parish Statutory Bodies, Zone Statutory Bodies, Religious Societies, Building Committee Chairmen, Financial Committee Members, Laity Council Officers, Pastoral Visit Planning Committee, Works and Security Subcommittee, Brochure Mobilization Committee, Financial Subcommittee, Entertainment Subcommittee, Distinguished Donors for the establishment of St. Peter's Catholic Church Ojoto. With heart full of joy, he also give thanks in a special way to the family of Chief Sir and Lady Francis Okonkwo (KSM) for building a Chapel for the church, Chief Emeka Ilonze (Nkpume Ojoto) for constructing church building and others who has contributed in making St. Peters great. In Conclusion, his Lordship encourage peace and also tell the Catholics faithful to embrace peace in their life and extend it to Ojoto community and Nigeria at large.

Education Empowerment

High Chief Sir Gerald Mbamalu (KSM), Nnayelugo, Ichie Okaa-Omee II, Ogene Ojoto II, the regent Ojoto, a regent that has impacted thousands of people across Nigeria and globally visited Cor Mariae Nursery / Basic School at his hometown Enugo, Ojoto-Obiofia and offered forty (40) pupils scholarship for a start.

According to him;
"Am inspired with its conducive environment for learning and I won't allow brilliant children to be denied quality education by reason of economic background. Am offering 40 pupils who their parents cannot finance their education scholarship for one year".

The 40 pupils are categorized as follows:
>10 from St. Paul's Catholic Church Ojoto-Obiofia
>10 from St. Peters Catholic Church Ojoto-Obiofia
>10 from St. Barnabas Anglican Church Ojoto-Obiofia
>10 from St. John's Anglican Church Ojoto-Obiofia

Chief Emeka Kalu CEO Stecoll Group of Companies and an APGA Guber Aspirants of 2015 election in Abia state have called on the good people of Abia State to be peaceful and remain calm as he call on the Federal Government not to turn a blind eye towards the ongoing uproar in the state between the military troops of Operation Python Dance II deployed to Southeast and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to allow the zone have a peaceful atmospheric conditions that will be favorable for everyone to carry out their daily activities without fear or panic.

the country's "unity is non negotiable" and for that reason the country needs peace and love to move the country forward.

He urge the Igbo's, Hausa, Yourba and Middle belt to see themselves as one Nigeria.

Chief Emeka also call on the Nigeria army to make sure that it's members that invaded the state NUJ secretariat should be brought to book and disciplined.

The Abia state chieftain also calls on the leader and members of the IPOB to calm down and shield their swords for "Empires are not forged by war", that peace and dialogue is all we need to achieve our goals.

Chief Emeka calls on youths of South East to feel free and take up their agitations to their leaders, that Nigerians youths are suffering today because of the bad and greedy leaders we voted into power and until youths come out in mass to vote in credible leaders all this corruption's and looting instead of creating jobs and developing the states will not stop.

He also condole with the families that lost their members and advice them to remain calm and resolute, that in no time all will be well, he appealed to Nigerian in the Southeastern zone to be peaceful, and that state security will returned to normalcy

Business mogul, Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu, has congratulated the Capital Oil boss, Dr. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah as he celebrates his birthday today.

Mmiri Riri Enyi of Igbo Land, the one and only OGAZI OJOTO, the only eagle that perches on the sea, the talknado, the Lion King, HON. TONY ELEBO Bagged an Award of Honour in recognition of his contribution towards the growth of the youth and the church during CULTURAL FIESTEA 2017 at SS, JOHN & PAUL PARISH IBA-POPE AWADA.

The event experienced gathering of people from different locations. Hon. Tony Elebo who was also the Chairman of the event talked on Youth, Culture and Church.

According to him; the nature of youthful experience is greatly affected by cultural and economic norms.

Relating traditional culture with church he warned Catholic Youth Organizations and Catholic Youth generally not to commit themselves to any ungodly activities. He also stress the need for the youth to promote our cultural heritage for our culture is gradually dying.

Jude Okoye has reacted to Lai Mohammed's statement where he said, the Federal Government has taken steps to ensure Nigerian movies and musical videos are only shot in Nigeria and not overseas any longer.

According to Jude, FG is going out of its place and not doing what they should. He outrightly went in on them! He wrote;

'Smh. An industry they NEVER encouraged, supported or empowered is what they now want to control. Let all of you stop running to abroad when you are sick as na naija money una dey use patronize oyibo hospital dem. You people are the ones refusing to fix our health facilities so u travel out when mosquito bite una. So why tell us where to record when u can't provide uninterrupted power here in Nigeria. Sometime I wonder how we got it all wrong. Una children when dey sch for abroad na which money una dey use patronize them? Abeg stfu!'
