Nice thread...
I am interested in c# , oop, mvc.
I attended a training in 2017 on this but I couldn't complete it because it all seemed like gibberish to me.
Although , after that training ,on my own I have tried learning it but I am yet to be able to start building apps.
It still has not all come together undecided

I created these with the corona dataset from Johns Hopkins.
Showing just how behind Nigeria is with respect to Italy as at 24-Mar-2020.
It's a time series analysis.

It shows data from Italy delayed by one month and super-imposed on data from Nigeria.

Can't you consult even ordinary google to see the simple structure of a virus?

See people that claim they went to school.

God forbid I have people like these on my whatsapp list. That's how they'll come tomorrow and say sprinkling salt on your eyeballs cures corona virus.

He just sent me this useful info and I tot I should share for the benefit of all.

Please share to everyone you know.

Finally! Information that is noeasy to understand and useful

Johns Hopkins University, sent this excellent summary to avoid contagion

I share it with you because it is very clear:
* The virus is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (DNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, when absorbed by the cells of the ocular, nasal or buccal mucosa, changes their genetic code. (mutation) and convert them into aggressor and multiplier cells.
* Since the virus is not a living organism but a protein molecule, it is not killed, but decays on its own. The disintegration time depends on the temperature, humidity and type of material where it lies.
* The virus is very fragile; the only thing that protects it is a thin outer layer of fat. That is why any soap or detergent is the best remedy, because the foam CUTS the FAT (that is why you have to rub so much: for 20 seconds or more, to make a lot of foam). By dissolving the fat layer, the protein molecule disperses and breaks down on its own.
* HEAT melts fat; this is why it is so good to use water above 25 degrees Celsius for washing hands, clothes and everything. In addition, hot water makes more foam and that makes it even more useful.
* Alcohol or any mixture with alcohol over 65% DISSOLVES ANY FAT, especially the external lipid layer of the virus.
* Any mix with 1 part bleach and 5 parts water directly dissolves the protein, breaks it down from the inside.
* Oxygenated water helps long after soap, alcohol and chlorine, because peroxide dissolves the virus protein, but you have to use it pure and it hurts your skin.
* NO BACTERICIDE SERVES. The virus is not a living organism like bacteria; they cannot kill what is not alive with anthobiotics, but quickly disintegrate its structure with everything said.
* NEVER shake used or unused clothing, sheets or cloth. While it is glued to a porous surface, it is very inert and disintegrates only between 3 hours (fabric and porous), 4 hours (copper, because it is naturally antiseptic; and wood, be
cause it removes all the moisture and does not let it peel off and disintegrates). ), 24 hours (cardboard), 42 hours (metal) and 72 hours (plastic). But if you shake it or use a feather duster, the virus molecules float in the air for up to 3 hours, and can lodge in your nose.
* The virus molecules remain very stable in external cold, or artificial as air conditioners in houses and cars. They also need moisture to stay stable, and especially darkness. Therefore, dehumidified, dry, warm and bright environments will degrade it faster.
* UV LIGHT on any object that may contain it breaks down the virus protein. For example, to disinfect and reuse a mask is perfect. Be careful, it also breaks down collagen (which is protein) in the skin, eventually causing wrinkles and skin cancer.
* The virus CANNOT go through healthy skin.
* Vinegar is NOT useful because it does not break down the protective layer of fat.
* NO SPIRITS, NOR VODKA, serve. The strongest vodka is 40% alcohol, and you need 65%.
* LISTERINE IF IT SERVES! It is 65% alcohol.
* The more confined the space, the more concentration of the virus there can be. The more open or naturally ventilated, the less.
* This is super said, but you have to wash your hands before and after touching mucosa, food, locks, knobs, switches, remote control, cell phone, watches, computers, desks, TV, etc. And when using the bathroom.
* You have to HUMIDIFY HANDS DRY from so much washing them, because the molecules can hide in the micro cracks. The thicker the moisturizer, the better. * Also keep your NAILS SHORT so that the virus does not hide there.[/font]

I also sent this to my ex ...are you thinking what I am thinking

Hi,

First, Nigerians need to understand that there is nothing like free education, except you win a full scholarship by some well known international organizations like the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship/Fellowship. Even with those international scholarship, they will advise you to come with money to cater for your 3months ( like $3000-$5000) upkeep before the disbursement of the scholarship money. Even Germany and some Scandinavian countries, you must provide evidence of at least €8000 - €15000 to cater for your subsistence at least for 1year and most often their embassies in Nigeria will want this money paid into an account in those countries before a student visa is granted. Even the US Embassy will need an evidence of a “liquid cash” in the region of 7 - 12 million Naira. Even with that, it is not a guarantee to get an F1 visa.

In the USA, graduate studies are like applying for job. You need good GPA which if your ND & HND are in the Upper Credits, then your Equivalent GPA according to WES Evaluation will look pretty nice. You will need Statement of Purpose, GRE, TOEFL, Recommendation Letters (2 or 3). If you are a STEM Graduate, do yourself a favor by scoring great in the Quant section of the GRE and modest score in the Verbal. TOEFL is good if your seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistantships and applying for some internal and external competitive fellowships.

Be upfront by contacting Professors (2 or 3) who you like to work in their research groups and maintain a professional relationship with them that will endear you to them and find a way to informally seek to work for them and if they agree, even mention their names in your Statement of Purpose and why you would like to work for them. Be upfront as the relationship develops to ask for sponsorship from them (Research or Graduate Assistantships). Talk to the Department about funding available. While you are preparing, develop skills that might be of help and make it possible for the school to grant you Assistantships and waive tuition fees and even pay you monthly stipend until you finish your program. If you studied HND Computer Engineering and you have been practicing real hardware engineering, it might pay you some premiums when you get to school and may start working for your department based on your already developed skills in computer hardware engineering.
Even when the school offers you Assistantships, mind you that you must provide 7-12million Naira for the US Embassy to grant you F1 Student visa. None of these is a guarantee.

So you need to know which country do you want and prepare for their requirements and documentation.

Will be available to answer you and assist you more.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give such a detailed response.
It is highly appreciated.

The IT fields suggested are all great advice!
Also, you can study to be a business analyst or study project management. There's a Nigerian who relocated to Canada from the UK and has a company training folks for 6 MONTHS (period includes practical, internship).

It's not free ($500). Good thing is he packages people (CVs) for the job market when they're done. Oh, and it can be done online.

You may google 'the career accelerators' for how to get in touch.

All the best!

Thanks for this info

Have you cut white people's hair before? You know their own hair is straight and it is cut different than our hair. They too find it difficult cutting our hair type. Same issue for hair dressing.

You would be cutting hair for blacks abroad because the population of Africans abroad can form another continent on its own.
