Fire service has the highest hazard allowance amongst paramilitary and they don't do much work except if you are in Abuja and even in Abuja you still have some days off. But prison has incentives at senior officer level so overall I think prison is better

Research on ALX SE programme.

Alx trains Africans free of charge in software engineering. The programme runs for 12 months. You would need at least, 60 to 70 Hours of engagement every week to do well in the programme.

You don't even need prior knowledge of coding to start.

Their next session is starting early November.
Their class is fully online; YouTube, Slack, GitHub.

But that shit no easy at all.

Yes fullstack and the language is javascript from frontend (React) and Backend (NodeJs). The secret is knowing what you need to build a website or web app. You're welcome to join again because we are a community of experienced software developers and there is always someone to guide you every step of the way. We give tasks every week and every student will build an application at the end of the training so it is not your regular paid courses where you just watch videos without getting your hands dirty. We are using the agile methodology approach which is what is obtainable in the industry currently.

I underwent 6 months intensive training in Software Engineering. Despite the fact that I'm already comfortable with with programming, I was still playing catch up with back-end by the end of the training. We were passively taught React and Angular, but I can't still say I'm proficient in front-end years after.
Software development goes beyond just writing code. Consider design, speed, optimization and so on. You want to teach that together with a front-end technology like React in 3 months?
You can't even pass an interview be just an intern with 3 months training in just back-end.
Na when dem tell you to implement linked list on live coding you go know say you no know anything.

He will be exposed to all the stacks that he needs to be full stack developer. Some people are fast learners so don't sleep on it.

He can go to YouTube and also use Google to solve his problem but after he must have gotten the basic foundation. I can tell you with my full chest that most videos you see on youtube are half baked knowledge and even some udemy courses will end up confusing you. I learned the hard way I can categorically give anyone a better advice on the best learning curve to take.There are problems that you can never find the solution on youtube. Cheers!!!

But let me share you my experience.. I was giving a job by a client in USA.. While going through d job i noticed it beyond my scope as at dat time.. To my greatest surprise dat same client sent me d link to a youtube video that i can use to sort that part of the work. Said he is sure i will get it after watching d video nd i did after 2 days.I can show u all proofs...including our conversation. This a job i got for $1k plus.
So there are goldmine videos on youtube.. Yours is to know how to explore.

Is more of consistency than brain though. And yes anybody can code if they are committed and gets guidance because coding is a skill.

Everybody loves Tech but unfortunately, not everybody has the brain to learn tech as it comes with complexity and needs consistent learning and practicing. At a point you will even feel you are wasting your time. But it worth it if you have the brain to code and decode

He can't learn from youtube. They are only scratching the surface there and marketing their company. Get a proper training. Dm me for details so you wouldn't make the same mistakes I made when I started learning.

There are lots of soft skills over there that can fetch you thousands of dollars.

Dm me and get details. My company train software developers. Is a three month intensive training where you learn by doing and your commitment is highly important and you may get placement if you did well. See you there.

With the new salary implementation coming up in November, an entry position will be receiving up 400k but for now it is not that much but the organization is undergoing some transformation currently. Them go smile when everything is settled.
