They were not due for retirement. I mean some had two years left. DPR didn’t pay them their 2020, 14th month salary and 2021, Housing allowance. They knew the Director was up to something. Some quickly went to beg him but he assured them that everything was fine. Later, they were all shocked to receive their love letters. According to some persons, it was a way of getting back at them for what they did to him.

They were actually due for retirements so is not like they actually terminated their appointments but then again I don't think that has any significance going forward.

I don't know about old members but the new staffs have been derived the numerous allowances Fowler used to pay when he was there. Yeah you are right there have been a few peanuts allowances but definitely not like Fowler's time. During Fowler's time they might just credit you at anytime of the month and tag it as medical bla bla bla. So far the money is on ground. Maybe because nami just got In though. Once he is settled he might look into it

Oh...too bad, including old members of staff? For the new intake I think they've received little allowances asides their basic salaries. Heard they will soon review their salary scale self, meaning improved pay.

A word of advice to the connectess
If u get a choice for FIRS OR CBN with another agency of similar pay. Choose the other one. Cause currently FIRS and CBN are over saturated, while it might not be a problem for you at the moment. Promotions in the future will be very hard due to stiff competition. But if you have no other option just take it, afterall it's better than being jobless like me

FYI, I am nobody, I just happened to here some ogas discussing about having too many employees who virtually do nothing & can't reject them.

The problem I have with some of you Southerners is you just sit down and assumed things even TammyAnyhbody made that assumptions which is very very wrong.

Those people you see getting slots from the northern senators, members, FCC commissioners and the likes are mostly their close relations or party members and not the average northerners.

It is always important to understand things before you make assumptions or conclusions. Make una dey calm down o because things aren't actually the way you think they are o..

I called my State FCC last night, and politely ask if there are any available slot so he can help me and other Job Seekers in the state, He laughed and told me that, for now, there's nothing on ground, but he will be on the lookout.


I was shocked because I wasn't expecting him to be this calm and understanding, then I cracked some of my dried jokes and he laughed again before bidding me goodnight.

What could be the reason for such show of understanding?

Could it be I called at the right time the wife prepared his delicious meal?

Why is there nothing on ground for we over here in the South but Adamu and Shehu from the North always get something on ground without getting to pay CONNECTION fee?

The interview may likely be in March but decumentation is in the second quarter due to the fact payment issue nt yet Incorporated in 2021 budget but was presented yesterday before chief of staff to the president for approval for new staff payment . 500 will be employed both GT and EH. This is cos 2019 employment was nt successful and proposed 2020 employment too as well as 2021 proposed employment. The management decided to combined all together to ensure pending employment is cleared due to the fact that Corona and other insecurity contributed immensely towards it's delay and hence the need to combine all.

I'm talking about standard recruitment procedures in oil and gas and not replacements. You gotta understand something first before you counter it

All oil and gas recruitments is always like that. The south gets 60% of the slots available while the north gets 40%

Well, all I know is that the slots for the different state will be based on:-
1) States in Niger Delta region will get 50 - 60% slot
2) The remaining states will share the remaining 40 - 50% slots equally...

I have been opportuned to benefit from something of this nature in the past and saw the division pattern..


So I guess it will be that way
