We bid between 55m and 65m last year sir. Do you want me to dig your old posts regarding that as well?
Come on Nihilist. You do know we are talking about £80m and this sunmer.

even sky sports carry the news. All this thing na copy copy them dy do
It's selective retention bruv. This is what happens when the media sides with an agenda one has. You find people select the reporting that sides with their belief, and ignore the reporting from the same outlets that reported earlier counter-arguments.

No one is asking this morning why we repeatedly bid £80m earlier this year and now we are matching United's £75m. It does not make sense.

Definitely, at least one of these stories is completely false. Which reinforces my point, no one had a clue.

If we are matching £75m as at today, what did we bid before? Why was that figure not reported? Or are we matching £75m this morning because we never bid before? How come we never bid before? This deal was reportedly signed, sealed and delivered.

You don kuku talk say you go troll me. So have a happy one. grin grin

Let's just be thoughtful for a moment. Meanwhile, shey we all remember that the summer started with stories like this.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3751206/chelsea-transfer-news-romelu-lukaku/amp/

£80m was the fee being thrown about. Some quarters even believed we already agreed an £80m fee. I think I remember even Ibime commenting that only Ronaldo level player should be bought for £80m.

This morning though, we are hearing that Chelsea match United's bid of £75m.

Think about it.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 9:51pm On Jul 07, 2017
During last season, I stated we need upgrades in the positions of Cahill, Matic, Moses and Pedro.

If we truly have £80m to spend, we should tempt PSG for Verratti. If we have already secured the services of Rudiger and Sandro as claimed, and money is tight, we should look at cheaper options - Ousmame Dembele and Insigne. Then get Llorente on a cheap and tell Costa Conte's phone was hacked.

And I think I will be fine with that squad. Quality in first 11 and in depth.

Should babayoko, sandro and rudiger sign? Can you say tentatively that we won't end up playing jam-body,jigbi Java suntin.
Where is this coming from? These players are not even on the same wavelength as jambody suntins. Not even close.
Sandro ? Rudiger? Come on mate!

Rudiger is easily a 7/10 in technical ability for a defender. Are you confusing him Kurt Zouma?
Sandro?

but bro,can Yu answer sincerely,is bakayoko more of a "technically gifted" player or jam body?
This Bakayoko?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9I5WsgJYtDE

Come on Mate. I have been away for a while but I will be surprised to see any anti-Bakayoko peops putting Bakayoko and jamboby in the same sentence.

Bakayoko does not suffer from the lack of rudimental technical ability on the ball. This is why I have not been totally opposed to the signing. At 22, he has many years to develop many sides of his game, and under the right tutelage, could be a fantastic player.

The problem we.... well... I, have with Bakayoko, is that the technical aware of his game is not of elite level, like say Marco Verratti (the player we should actually be after) Bakayoko will still travel for 40 yards with the ball to make a 5-yard pass. This sort of thing. And I thought we will be attempting to elevate to elite level for proper competi with the likes of Madrid/Bayern. Not trying to be Monaco.

Marco Verratti is only 2 years older but the difference between their technical understanding is like Earth to Mars. This is not to say Bakayoko is jambody. Have seen Lukaku?

Let's not mix things up abeg.

A good news for brother Nateevs.

Mourinho and his physical and jambody football. He never liked technically good players. Make e carry go.
As much as I will like to gloat my brother, I maintained from day one that we were never in for him. It was a very difficult stance to maintain given the flurry of fake news abound but nonetheless, an easy one to make if you have watched Conte's football for 10 mins.

Now the media is saying United beats Chelsea to it, to save face. When in actual fact, they never had a clue.

So we didn't dodge a bullet bro. Bullet never even left chamber, let alone heading our way.

Now we can concentrate on building the club with technically astute players, not jam-body, jigbi jagba suntin.

Let Mourinho continue with his nonsense football. I have no fvcks to give.

I was about to mention that. The organization brought about by Clemens Westerhoff could not be understated. Hence the success in that era. The subsequent stability and organization brought about by Jo Bonfere manifested in success that ensued aafter Clemens' reign.

It fell apart once these guys moved on.

The talent was there. I believe it still is. The administration to harness the manpower into a formidable competitive product, is just almost never present, once decision-making is predominantly in the hands of black people.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m):
Sometimes you see a midfielder waltz through midfield with guile and composure, you know that the end-product will be constructive. What I see from Baka is travelling, when a pass will suffice.

See the guy running from one side of the pitch to the next just to make a 5-yard pass. That's not midfield play. There's no guile and there's loose control. This reminds me of Ramires. You lose the ball and your defence is immediately under pressure again.

Don't watch compilation videos. What the versus videos to get a real feel. This guy cannot lace Pasalic's boots.

How many of these top clubs made a bid for Kante?
You miss the point. Yes, no one saw Kante and thought 'Makalele II' but you certainly never saw him and thought "fvcking donkey". This is what crosses my mind when I see where we are throwing £110m. And that my friend, is the main point.

We will probably spend about 110m on both signings without really improving our quality

There are over 10 DMs in series A alone better than this guy

I don't believe the same man that wanted Radja and Pjanic is thinking of Bakayoko
Perfectly summarised in one line. £110m spent without any significant increase in quality. This is money you spend and your rivals go 'wow! they are coming for us'. No one is quaking.

I don't want to believe Verratti will cost more than £80m. And I still get £30m to spend on Mahrez, whilst keeping Costa. And I increase quality and depth with the same money.

We are going to the freaking UCL next season for pete's sake. Hazard will probably not get back to form until January 2018 and this is what we are buying? Bakakuku ?

Somebody wake me up, please!

this Madrid team was not built in a year nor two. It will take Chelsea a lot to be on this level
At least it will help if we are on the way to getting there. We would never get there with Bakayoko.
Go out there and get Verratti instead.
