It is very annoying Ibime. . I quite remember when you made that post. . I did not object because it's true and it showed today again . . I mean you only need to look thru my posts during the match when we were still a goal up to see aw many times I mentioned that he was utterly selfish . . . . and it was alarming.

The only way we can qualify for the semi-final is if Fernabache does not score at Stamford Bridge. . that's the only way.

@Rikkyjen

You did not read what I posted well . . . I said all Fernabache need to do at SB is to score one goal and then WE wiil have to score 3 times to qualify. . . abeg read wetin I talk well. . . body dey pepper me oooo

Who is that person saying Liverpool made england proud. . . Liverpool played Arsenal like a championship team . . very very useless team. . they could not even give Arsenal a fight . .

@Somze

The tactics were spot on to be fair to Grant. . . I thot we were at SB at some point . .  the reason we lost is Drogba . . nothing more tonight. . even Terry shook his head after the game. . . Drogba found himself in very interesting positions. . . Drogba has to bring Malouda into play. . Maka was very fine until the pressure started building up. . . Wat would have stopped the pressure? A second goal. . did we have the chance? Oh yes we did. . . Who had all the chances? Drogba did and he single-handedly ruined the match. . He did . . you saw him time after time telling Joe Cole and Malouda that he did not see them . . Lampard ran into a very interesting position and there's no way in a million chances Lampard would miss from that distance if Drogba had fed him. . but he did not tried to score himself and told Lamp later on thaat he did not see him. . .

Big Nonsense
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 9:45pm On Apr 02, 2008
We lost . . . why did we lose . . we lost because of Drogba and he knows it. . . very stupid thing he was doing trying to score all the time. . . not even once did he pass to his team mate in the box . . . the annoying thing was that he could pass. . another was that there were team mates running into interesting positions and he did not find them now all these guys need to do at Stamford bridge is to score one goal and park the bus at in front of goal . . and suddenly we will need to score 3 times to qualify. . .

Very very heart breaking . . they weren't even special . . they were not until we allowed them be . . because we did not score the second goal . .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 9:31pm On Apr 02, 2008
Mr. Grant makes an even stranger decision . . . why bring in Anelka if you want to play 4-3-3. .

He had up to four chances to find his players in the box he kept shooting wanting to score . . now we have a problem

I want us to score again . . the pressure is building up on us. . .

Drogba should find his team mates with all the free spaces he's got rather than thinking about scoring himself all the time. . .

TIME TO REFLECT ON THE PAST GUYS. . .

Bitter memories in the life of a Chelsea fan. . . . now this is why i like skysports and Andy Gray. . .

Check this out and ask, "Was the goal in"?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79FOSVZiiGE

and see what the useless referee said after the game

"I believe Chelsea would have preferred the goal to count rather than face a penalty with just ten men for the rest of the game. If my assistant referee had not signaled a goal, I would have given a penalty and sent off goalkeeper Peter Cech."

— Slovakian referee Lubos Michel

@Ibime @Somze

I did know all this was going on . . where I dey sef?

I saw my name some where and I will answer to it. . . . Yes Muorinho was given a renewed contract in 2005 one year after he joined.  I remember he signed for about £4. something million in 2004 and then he pushed for a new contract, which he got in 2005 for over £5m a year for five years.

I go find quotes to back up.
That's a good one for Ibime.

For the other one . . although them no call my name here o o . . but I chooke mouth. . .

Muorinho actually wanted long term and wanted to build a team . . .

The Porto coach was at the centre of a surprise approach by Chelsea's billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich, and his chief executive, Peter Kenyon, this week but has said that he feels the huge investment in the club makes it an "uncertain project".

The 41-year-old is known to prefer taking on the challenge of Liverpool, where he would be seen as the man to lead them back to former glories, much like Sir Alex Ferguson when he took over at Manchester United in November 1986.

Mourinho said: "Liverpool are a team that interests everyone and Chelsea does not interest me so much because it is a new project with lots of money invested in it. I think it is a project which, if the club fail to win everything, then Abramovich could retire and take the money out of the club. It's an uncertain project.

"It is interesting for a coach to have the money to hire quality players but you never know if a project like this will bring success."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/2004/04/23/sfnliv23.xml&sSheet=/sport/2004/04/23/ixfooty.html

You see he was not always like win at all cost . . he actually relished the opportunity to rebuild Liverpool . . . and he knew the only way to bring them back to the top was to "REBUILD". . because Roman wanted victory at all costs. . JM brought the players that could do it at all cost in a short time.

Now that's a good one for Somze. .

I love this. . . . Me sef I dey act like Judge  grin grin grin grin

Apparently Lampard trained yesterday . . courtesy ChelseaTV . . Petr might still be injured. .

@Ibime. .

Why can't Farfan play at Chelsea? He is better than Kalou and SWP put together . . He is decent on goal strong, quick and can dribble very well. We do need a team full of superstars. It's not good for balance and some young players develop quickly when they play with superstars. I think he can do well with Chelsea. Come to think of it anyway, all the young players we are linked with these days are not ready for Chelsea.

Ibime:
Yes, we own Farfan, Alcides and Rajkovic and Miguel Costa abi Manuel Costa who all play for PSV.
I didn't know the deal with Farfan was done then. I know about Rajkovic and Alcides. That's great news. Do you see him starting with Chelsea in the summer. This guy makes SWP look like Golf player.   And why in this bloody world do we have the type of player elsewhere and we use rubbish guys?. . did you see the chance SWP missed against borough?

We have this habit of thinking that this player and that player are not ready for the premiership while the ones we think are end up as rubbish. I think we need to give players that are not ready a chance. I still do not see the reason Sinclair is on a sceond consecutive loan . . when we have Malouda and Kalou that don't really look better than him?

I've seen Disanto play in the reserves, he might not be your average argentine that does all these tricks like Messi but the guy has scored 5 goals in 7matches since he joined the reserves while Pizzarro and Sheva playing with this same reserve team cannot even mange a goal. It's crazy. We need to change our player choice policy.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 6:56pm On Mar 31, 2008
Does anyone know if we own Peruian starlet Jefferson Farfan? He was recommended in 2004 by the same agent that recommended Cech and Robben. I remember we bided for him and the plan was to loan him to PSV as he could not play in the premiership then for reasons of work permit. Did we actually sign him?

Co-incidentally he plays for PSV now. . . Farfan anyone?

Meanwhile. .

Grant targets exciting signings

“There are players who make smoke and players who make fire. I want players who make fire,” Grant told The Times.

“If it is not possible to bring in a Messi or a Kaká, we will try and find the next one.

“We want to bring more flair. Roman is ready to back us. . . . . . ”

Chelsea have taken Dutch starlet Shayton Curiel on trial at Stamford Bridge.

The 16-year-old forward currently plays for Dutch amateur club Spartaan 20 and has been earning favourable reviews since breaking into their first team.

RTV Rijnmond are reporting that Curiel will arrive in West London at the beginning of April, with Chelsea's coaching staff to observe his progress in a number of training sessions. . . . . .

Young kid and doing well. . . plus Shechenko and pizzarro play in the reserves as well . . and we all know the whole story. .
