We are not jumping around either. . finishing above Arsenal is not a great achievement, any team can . . . being 3 pts behind ManU with a game to play against them is great achievement . . finishing 9pts behind ManU when you were once 6pts ahead is appaling!!!

Are you kidding ? Trainer ? I will love him as Coach! nothing less. . . The guy is phenomenal. . . the football they play at Getafe is out of this world. . . The physical fitness of his boys is something to write home about. I'm sure you saw what they almost did to Bayern. He subs and it make all the difference. I saw their matches against Barca and Real this season, ahhhhhhh!!!! breath-taking. Plus he's done all this on a little budget.

If he is given funds to manage a bigger club I have no doubt in mind he will perform. He will also be able to attract spanish players and he will give a lot of youngsters lots of opportunities. You don't know how much I want him here. If he is ever appointed coach . . the type of football he will bring will mean that Drogba, Lampard, Ballack(for age reasons), SWP, Malouda, Essien are all out!!! Essentially all the players that need two touches to do things will not be able to cope. .

I am not saying visit the forum every minute of the day. . but even if the frequency you can accomodate is once a month . . . give us something to remember. . . let us look forward to seeing you again. . Some of us don't visit the forum everytime but when they do come they contribute positively. . .

Actually I think we should try as much as possible to make qualifying difficult for Liverpool from the first leg. . I do not have the belief that they can't beat us at home. . They can . .
I can't wait for those days. . . Meanwhile if anything will gladen my heart 2morrow, it's for Arsenal to beat ManU by some miracle if that's what you want to call it. . We play Wigan on Monday and I hope we can get max pts from that . . If they lose we can be on level pts by Monday. . . into the showdown at SB. .

I can only see Liverpool home and away. . . after that, maybe. I think it will be very safe not be too optimistic. Liverpool is in no way a push-over. So even thought we believe as fans, there are times we need to respet the matches we are going into and watch us win them rather looking past the matches. . My candid opinion.

What I heard was that Barca were open to offers for Henry . . and not particularly Chelsea interested. . Anything with Chelsea interests sells . . and so it makes sense to link Chelsea with even Nuns. .

Not so quick. Even though I like to believe and see ourselves in the final, our team has become weaker in the Champions League- playing and non-playing staff. For this reason I like to take every match as it comes.

If you want to score Chelsea now, use set pieces that's it. Now Benitez knows this and when I see Hypia and Crouch my heart beats.

There are only two ways we can edge Liverpool out.

1. Score more than once at Anfield.
2. Conceed fewest goals possible.

Scoring twice away will put them under immense pressure home and away. This is not the time to paly fancy football. I want the two semi-finals to be as boring as it can be . . . bore spectators so much that they walk out of the stadium . . . route one football all the way, I don't care how we score and I don't care how we win. I just want a win.

I really wanted Arsenal because I do not believe they can't out-play us over two legs. . It's just not possible. .
Secondly winning yesterday would have given them confidence going into the weekend title decider with ManU. . but now I don't know how they want to do it.

I really need them to be at their best come the weekend.

The most interesting part of the whole story is that we playing @ ANFIELD first, atleast away goal will do us just fine even if we refused to beat them @ HOME.

If the score ends 2-1 away. . . we have an away goal. . but I tell you what they can hold us to a 1-1 at home and we are out. Not very easy for them but very possible. . .

If Grant makes nay tactical errors like the one he made yesterday against Liverpool . . . we are out. . . If he does not play a 4-4-2 home and away, we are 60% out. . . I'd like to be proven wrong. . but for now this is how I feel.

Well I have seen us get to the semi several times before, . . . If we met Arsenal . . I will beleive this is our season. . . but with Liverpool? I don't get excited. I am not saying we get thru them. . . I only believe we go thru at the end of two matches. .

until then . . . we watch!!!!

I really supported Arsenal. . . I did not want Liverpool for any reason. . . Jose found it difficult. . . Grant can't even talk of tactics with Benitez. .
