You see, the only fans in the world that talk like this are ManU and Arsenal fans. Any Chelsea fan you see started supporting chelsea yesterday.

Do you even know that more than 80% of premiership fans did not even have access to watch matches only a few years ago? So aw did their support for ManU and Arsenal start?


Simply put,
They either saw Kanu go to Arsenal or they they saw Manu in the final of the champions league. It's just the truth.

Wait a minute how many nigerians support unsuccesful premiership teams?

How many nigerian sunderland fans have you heard of? When I go to the pub to watch matches sometimes I see die-hard westham fans and I can't beleive the passion they have. 

So what is wrong when you start following a team yesterday because they interest you in some way?  Afterall why the word fan-base?  Up to 80% of Asian premiership following fans are very new fans.

How many Nigerian premiership fans order real Jerseys of their clubs? How many of them buy souveniers, Mags, boots, mufflers, how many of them decide to pay a visit to the club stadium when they travel abroad sometimes? How many Nigerians will go out to a club football match in the blistering cold, some -2 degreees centrigrade, just to watch their team play. Why ? because every iota of support counts?



The truth is every Nigerian premiership fan supports one club for a reason.  Every nigerian fan started watching the premiership not long ago. Many of us not more than 10 years ago.  Every Naija premiership club fan started following a team after the team was successful.

If you choose to start following Arsenal today because they play well, fineeeeeeeeeeee. If you choose to start following Chelsea tomorrow because Abarhamovic bought the club and you think they will be successful because there is more money, fineeeeeeeeee.

Bottom line every Nigerian started following one premiership team because that team was succesful, if not then start following Watford.

We will all be here. We no go die. For now I won't say much. Why are they concerned about who plays or not? IU thot they were so good so much it did not matter who played.

There's absolutely nothing wrong if we do not have as many fans as the ManUs and the Arsenals still does not validate the points of the few of us being very weak. Only fan base puts the thread on the first page. It's not unfortunate it's just that we don't have as many fans. Simply put.
