Bruce Buck and PK were spotted by a fan in west london doing some research along side another bloke in suit. The fan claims to be a construction  engineer and knows exactly what it means to be carrying out site research. He took pictures of them and placed it on the internet.

Apart from the fan rumour, the daily mail carried a story on thursday about Chelsea wanting to buy the BBC center. There have been talks in the past about wanting to purchase the earl's court sports center. It currently a 16,000 capacity center but it can be rebuilt to acoomodate 65,000 capacity. Earl's court is just about 1omins walk from Satmford Bridge and it is still in the west of london.

I guess Abram thinks the expansive style will win more fans and with we will be thinking about where to house them.

Don't count our chicks ke. What have we started counting? We have not told you we will win the premiership neither have we said we have won the champions league. We are just relishing the 6-0 win. Tell me which fan wouldn't.

@Somze.

Let them trickle in or rush in. After all what is the essence of a club without fans. To be fair Abramhamovic wants the style to increase fan base.

Are you aware we have looking to build another stadium?

Only a fan out of tune with change will not give the current management a chance to try what they want to show. Believe me I could not leave my seat. I enjoyed every bit from the beginning to the very end.

WOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!. THE THREAD IS ALIVE

Hey guys u know what I just noticed. It not the absence of chelsea fans on this thread for a while that made it boring. It was the absence of hate. Logically there was nothing to hate about.

Muorinho left, Chelsea lost to ManU, struggled against Fulham and that was it - everyone just condemned it to a Tottenham  Hotspur thread.

Things started to pick, and just there is a big evidence things might explode one again - Voala!!!!! the hate resumes. Suddenly there is something to hate about.

Now A1, Antonio Banderas and the likes feel threatened and have started their gists. Tell me one left back in the world you would have chosen in place of Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge, --------- Clichy?

common guys !!!!!!!!! Just keep the hate coming. I shows we are getting back.

@A-40

Essien for the first time after a whole lot of matches got inujured about some weeks ago and is still fighting the injury. I am sure he will bounce back.

@Somze

@Somze

I agree totally with all the ratings. Every single one is spot on. Apart from Drogba in front, I thot Wayne Bridge Was the most outstanding player he is a real contender to Ashley anyday. I have always preffered him to Ashley on the attack. He enables attack from the left. Ashley might be better in defense. Wayne is best crosser of the ball that we have in chelsea.

I have not been a fan of Lamps all season long but I must really commend his work rate yesterday.

I think the only way is forward considering the fact that that was just AG's 6th match in charge and Ten's Second.

@Jackal,

you have finally found some minutes for this domain. Where you dey? You all had relegated us in your minds. Thanks for the complements.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 9:20am On Oct 25, 2007
@topeorekoy,

I do not believe one bit we were not impressive. Did you expect us to control the match 100%? We were playing a side that qualified for the champions league - arguably one of the best sides in the german league. I do not expect them not to have their own chances.

One thing we are missing is that what happen to chelsea is enough to relegate other teams. For us to bounce back from all those issues and play like how we did yesterday is a great job. And I will like to use this opprtunity to say kudos to AG and TC. I think they are bringing something to chelsea that will soon be clear for us all to see.

Nice Match.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 12:39am On Oct 25, 2007
I don't what y'all saw but I isaw the genuine inclusion of TenCate and the evlution of a different playing side. The football was beautiful. The passes were great, fabulous. I had never seen Drogba throw return passes like the way he did today. The most amazing thing was the way they way they were running into space. The movement off the ball was incredible. It was not dominant for all of the match but this is perhaps the beginning of something good.

The build towards the second goal was out of this world. Great cross from Ferreira and world class finish from Didier.

I must confess I was delighted at what I saw. I don't know if you all felt the same.

I just did not like AG's post match comment. He mentions "Positve Football" every time he is lucky to be in front of camera. He does not even mind if it's AIT or NTA camera he just says it.

He said "We will continue the Positive Football we are playing now" 3 times in a four minute interview. Wetin dey do the guy sef?

Why would anyone want to think breaking a record of scoring more than seven goals. To think of things like that is to leave important things for unimportant things. That Arsenal won 6-0 does not mean they will win the champions.

@A-40

You will come back and say that again one day. Sogbo? Don't worry. All you guys will come back and hate.

This was extracted form a story in the Independent.

Redknapp admits he has copied Chelsea in adopting a system that employs a deep-lying fifth midfielder as well as a single striker. "When Chelsea won the title under Jose Mourinho it was by playing that system," he said. "It is difficult to play against it. If you pass the ball you will outnumber people in midfield and it has made us difficult to beat." Hutchings thought it was his side who were proving difficult to beat after restricting Portsmouth to only two or three shots in the first 80 minutes

Finally someone accepts Jose Muorinho was a genius of a manger. This time around it is not a fan as we might all think, nope. It's Harry Redknapp the manager of portsmouth.

The good that men do lives after them.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 11:54am On Oct 22, 2007
Yes Ferreira was in the line as Ashley Cole was injured in the last international and Wayne bridge hasn't recovered either.

I just read about the story you know. I did not know all that happened last week. The guy is speaking his mind. There are several others that feel the same but have not spoken. I still feel for now that there is going to be something really very big at the end of the season. There is going to be a mass exodus of players and there is going to be big and big signings. lots of players coming in.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 10:31am On Oct 22, 2007
@somze,
I did not catch the Drogba interview. any news?

The Match.

Was a good. It was a match with a clear indication of which sides were involved. It was obvious a top premiership club was playing a small one. Unlike matches we had in the past where there are no differences between fulham and chelsea.

The midfield was the stronghold of the whole game and Mikel obi was the point of the midfeild. I have a feeling TenCate has seen the footie he can produce. I thought he was fabulous.

I must really commend work rate of Alex in the absence of terry. He did very well. Plus he scored perhaps the free kick of the season

Ferreira in left back was a disaster. Lamps was all over the place. Drogba was flying as ususal. Joe cole had a decent game. Malouda was silent for most of the game.

Essien seems not to have recorvered from injury. His game was not as imposing. Belletti makes me think he increased his age for a reason. I am beginning to think he is not as old as he claims he is.

Good match overall. 3points earned and clean sheets. We look forward to the midweek game.

Nice one but I don't know if Obi and Joe are mentally matured enough wink
I've watched some matches where they play like kids,
Joe to influence the crowd and
Obi - don't mind me i'm just strolling around grin

Meanwhile if you ever get that seat you know my number wink
I quite agree about they might play like mentally immature but kids only grow into becoming men when they are gievn the chance. Good examples are Messi, Fabregas. They guys are actually kids looking at their ages but the chance they were given has fast turned them into massive players that can influence the game in a minute.

I just think they need the chance.

Talking about Roman, When I get the seat no worry I go flash you. grin grin grin grin grin

I am waiting for a day when either Grant or Cate will discover this formation in midfield.

                                                                                     Makalele/Essien

                                            SWP             JOECOLE                     JOHN MIKEL            MALOUDA

                                                                    DROGBA / PIZZARO

This is my personal opinion. I think the greatest potentials we have in chelsea that remain untapped are a mikel-joecole midfield partnership upfield.

I beleive Joe cole is not the perfect player on the right or left of midfield. Joe cole grew up and became well known in the center of midfield. When he was with westham I used to call him the next england Paul Gascoine. His level of his performance in midfield earned him a transfer to chelsea.   Give him a few games in central midfield postion and then all the fancy football can begin.

Obi on the other hand is a master of keeping the ball. Anyone who watched the match yesterday knows fully well the main reason for the possession was because of obi in defensive midfield position.  He has good vision and knows what to do with the ball even before it gets to him. He has grown since the youth championship and developed massive defensive capabilities in the Jose era. Armed with the possesion and passing abilities, He can be that key figure in the midfield.  I think someone somewhere should request for the tapes of the U21 world and watch what this guy did. That will explain the very reason for this guy in football.

I know someone is going to ask so what happens to Lampard? Well  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The truth is players canot be successful all through their career.  They become tired with time. I know he is just 28 but it is so easy to see that he has lost it. I am not saying he can't score again I am just saying let us face it what is the main reason we play lampard? It's because he is the most likely to score after Drogba. Fine, goals are good but what is the essence of a midfielder if we won't miss him because of his great passes, wonderful mifield runs, magnificient crosses and his timely helping hand (Leg) in a defense under the rampage of a barcelona attack. If Lampard does not play we don't miss the qualities of a midfielder, we miss goals.

Well I have got news for you, the goals have not been coming but at the same time we miss midfield play.  So that means if we have one more player that bring out goals, we replace him. Simple. It doesn't mean "sell him off, we got the best of him while he could do it." It just means cut down his playing time to perhaps 45mins for a start.

I think the new era has continued from where JM stopped with the lampard thing. Lampard is an untouchable? I don't think so.

If we play with that formation we are likely to dominate midfield because all the functions of the midfield are complete. Joe cole will head the Run-at-defender department plus he can score too.   Obi starts the tip-tap in center of midfield(the type of footie ROMAN wants) and leads the beginning of defense from high-up midfield if we lose the ball. He has got the vision to spot his wide players (Malouda, SWP/Kalou) because he can pass long, he can also drop balls into the attack for the tall guys (Drogba and Pizzi). See that, all of a sudden we have variety and it seems like we can actually do something.

BUT THAT IS ALL MY DREAM, THE REALITY IS THAT IT WILL NOT BE DISCOVERED AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY LIKE WE DO. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL SEE THAT ONE DAY.

I AM GOING TO THE BRIDGE ON THE NEXT MATCH DAY I WILL TRY TO SEE IF I CAN PUT THIS DOWN ON A NOTE AND SQUEEZE IT INTO THE HANDS OF TEN CATE. (would have given it to GRANT but doesn't that guy look so scary? Some said he looks like a ninja turtle. Is that true?)

ANYWAY, SO GUYS IF YOU SEE US START TO PLAY LIKE THIS YOU KNOW WHERE THE IDEA CAME FROM. NEXT THING YOU JUST SEE ME SITTING BESIDE ROMAN IN THE GLASS HOUSE AT THE BRIDGE, POINTING AT THE PLAYERS, AND WHISPERING SOMETHING INTO HIS EARS.

THEN I'LL WAVE TO MY PEOPLE. NA ME BE DISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM ON SKYTV CAM. (Dem no know me ooooooo. Nevertheless just look well because I will definitely be black and not looking particularly like a billionaire. maybe close).

Hope I brought some life into this thread. So guys what do you think?  Do you think playing like this makes a difference or do you think I am just a pathetic dreamer.

Let's discuss.
