It seems a little awkward because of all the ups and downs but let it be known that the time of chelsea is yet to come. We all have not seen anything yet.

The BLUE will rule. It's just a matter of time we will get it back and we will stay top and stay BLUE.

Next we have Schalke. I hope we get a win and keep our Champions League chances alive.

Nice Match.

I wanted to see what Ten Cate was going to bring to the game. I saw a bit of tip-tap and it's beginning to look like we can actually play. That brought about the first goal. Good to see Didier score a goal. Nice to Lamps spoil the show again.

7th on the table with ManU, Arsenal, Liverpool, Mancity and Blackburn. It's looking good and step by step we'll get there.

@A-40

Watch the clipse over and over again. Terry was not trying to grab the card from the referee. He only tried to hold his hand which is a normal reflex considering the tension at that time in camp all week and the match itself.

The event is open to personal interpretation. It is only some newspaper trying to up its daily sales that started this Jt trying to grab the card. The FA still has not said anything.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 11:23am On Sep 25, 2007
@somze,

I quite agree with you that we have misfits but misfits were not reason we lost on sunday; we lost because we conceeded goals. You matches because you conceed goals. That one thing I will adore JM for. Jm beleives if you don't conceed then there is a high probability you'll win.

JM's first 2 succesful seasons if you watch carefully was not because we scored a lot but because we never conceeded and then someone was going to score and that's it. 1-0 and then we won.

Drogba was a misfit in his first two seasons, Kezman was a misfit. We had misfits then and we have misfits now but that's not the reason we lose matches.

The reason we lose matches is because we conceed goals. The reason we conceed goals is because we have a problem in defense. The problem in defense is what I have stated in my last post.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 10:48am On Sep 25, 2007
Razorr,

This I think is more disturbing news.

http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1773_2750186,00.html

I will not say that John's form is of question. What is of question is the partnership in defense. Ask any good manager and they tell you that the worst part of the play to distort partnership is the defense.

Count how many matches so far this season ManU have not played without  Rio and Vidic. Movement on and off the ball soon become instintive when the partner ship goes on for long.

Let me give you this analysis. When we play in defense we are most likely to play this way.

                                                              Cech

               Somebody               Somebody                Terry               Ashley cole.

Now the understanding between Ashley cole and Terry solidifies everyday. That's why this season so far only about 30% of the goals we conceeded have come from a Terry_Ashley error.

Up to 70% of the goals we have conceedd so far have come from the right side of defense where somebody partners somebody and John Terry. There is no understanding on and off the ball and that is what makes a good defense.

Football is not Maths and you can not expect footballers to be at their best when the whole thing keeps fluctuating.

Against ManU on Sunday, was the first time in the entire history and I mean it the entire history of chelsea we played with that defense line.

                                                                       cech

                ferreira                        benhaim                             terry                         ashley

Chelsea has never played this defense line. Can you beleive that? So goals will be conceeded and even more will be conceeded now with a coach that does know the players so well.

So it's not Terry's form it the Defense Line's form.

Does anyone have an idea when the shares certificate of Oceanic Bank will be out?

@Easimoni,

Do you have any reliable and more importantly very updated sources of company results and fundamentals even if it means subscribing?

I have subscribed to many and always had to cancel it because no one seems to have updated news and fundamentals of any company in Nigeria except Last traded price and Volume.

Thanks.

Where have you people been? I have not seen your full report about the whole disaster. I think appointing Grant is worse of a disaster than sacking JM.

I also think this is better news than the ronaldinho news.

I will scream to the heavens if Basten if appointed coach. Some here said yesterday that the commentator said he was going to be appointed Football Director.

Glad to know you know Hector. That guy is class. He is still a god at Valencia.

@Medube

Appointing Basten as director of football is just as disasturous as appointing Grant as manager.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 6:48pm On Sep 23, 2007
@Jackal

I saw Van Basten with Roman as well but I will be damned if he is appointed coach. I watched him lead Holland to the euro cup in 2004 and I thought he was not very technically sound.

There are only four coaches I think can give Roman that dream he wants.

1. Gus Hiddink
2. John Toshack
3. Vixente De Bosque
4. Hector Cuper.

This guys are technical wizards. Very technically astute coaches that know the game well and play very very entertaining footbal as well as win matches plus they also have the pedigree that fits the club.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 6:35pm On Sep 23, 2007
Getting a coaching license is nothing like buying a player bro. This is where Roman knows he has to pause his money. the guy needs to go for coaching classes and that sounds to me like there needs to be some kind of examination to get the badge. But this is all silly aw can a club like chelsea be asking if our,

I mean

This is crazy i don vex.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 6:02pm On Sep 23, 2007
And our new era begins. A 2-0 loss to ManU. Maybe debatable but the end is we lost. 6th position on the table 11 points after 7 matches. The 4th and 5th positions Liverpool and Newcastle respectively have played just six matches.

Also the 7th, 8th and 10th positions have played 6 matches as well so if they play and win, we might as well be 10th on the table. Our worst start in 7 seasons.

So @ chelsea fans what are our chances this season? Lets talk about it.

Do you know what the rules are about coaches with no Coaching badge in the champions league?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 2:19pm On Sep 23, 2007
@Mustay @Jackal

I perfectly understand where you guys are coming from but as much as I respect the essential professionalism in the guys, you are fast eliminating the vital ingredient of team spirit. Why then are some footballers reffered to as Inspirational Captains? It's just because some motivate team mates more than others not because some are more professional.

I expect them to go out there and do the job they are being paid for. I pay for chelseaTV and chelseaTV online every month and I will get really pissed off if they sit down there and cry about JM because part of that goes to pay their salaries.

Inspite of their professionalism however, there has to be that extra thing that makes these professional go the extra mile. That extra thing that makes John Terry go after a header even when he can see somene sticking out a foot. That extra thing that makes John Obi Mikel take a wack shot and he looks at the bench knowing what could happen.

That extra thing is what wins trophies. There are over 600 professionals in the PL but they need that extra thing to stay ahead. That extra thing was what make chelsea from 2-1 down, come back to steal 3points. Arsenal are clearly ahead, on fire and not just that they have a match in hand. That extra thing was what used to make us beleive we will upset arsenal at the top. That extra thing I believe is absent now until I see us play MANU.

Like I said I might be wrong but until I am proven right I stand on the point of no more trophies for this season.

Our coach does not have a coaching badge. He does not have a UEFA license.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 10:26am On Sep 23, 2007
Guys I don't mean to sound the odd one out here but I do not see these things happening anymore. At least not this season. The simple question I ask myself is why do you think the players should go out there today and give that extra 20%? Do you think they want to prove that , OK WE CAN DO IT WITHOUT JOSE? The answer is no. Except we had hypocrites in the team.

Like I said earlier anyway, I stand to be corrected. If grant turns out to be another special one, I will retreive my words but for now I do not see it happening.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 7:45pm On Sep 22, 2007
@Jackal.

Exactly what I mean. Suddenly the glamour is lost. Even as a fan I suddenly do not fell that need to win. It feels like Manu playing some less important team.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 1:29pm On Sep 22, 2007
@JACKAL,

Whether you are JM fan or not, you will agree it is not right to sack your manager 5weeks into the season. Now don't get me wrong a manager can be acked anytime but JM was no ordinary manager. If the board did not see it that way the fans do. A perfect example will be to something out of the ordianry happens there was a burst-up between Sir Alex and the glaziers and then Alex resigns. Do you think Manu will win the premiership?

That's exactly what I mean by the timing.

I do not think Roman was asking for too much. I am one of those chelsea fans that still believe we can play with flair and still win but to let JM go and put Grant is a nightmare of a decision.

That where the decision is unwise
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 12:37pm On Sep 22, 2007
@jackal

I don't share the sentiment as well. I know he is a wise business man and he can see that the brand of football that MANu and Arsenal play is what gives them the fan base that they have but you could also go very wrong with the timing of decisions.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 12:09pm On Sep 22, 2007
I watched about a SKY 20-min interview with Mourinho and I could not help but drop a tear in my eye.  I think we made a very very big big mistake.

Avram Grant has not got a UEFA pro license. PK says he is permanent Manager. However he has not signed a contract. I watched the pesentation of Grant to the press as manager and the man went on about how he intends to revitalize chelsea.

He mentioned ATTRACTIVE FOOTBALL about four times in 10mins in different statements. What exactly does he mean?

We have no fitness coach and no goal-keeping coach. how do we expect a coach that has never coached outside israel to perform magic. Even Shaun Wright Phillips has more european experience than the coach. How do we expect with no european experinece to tell Lampard what to do in a champions league match.

This is a disaster. A very big disaster. I wil take my words back if Grant turns out to be hidden talent but for now I do not see anything else except doom for him.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 11:06pm On Sep 21, 2007
Let me tell you what I heard from a fan on SKY tonight.

"I have been a chelsea fan for over 41years. I find what has happened at the bridge the most ridiculous thing. I have been with the club through good times and rough times but not anymore"

Malouda confessed today that he signed for the club because of Jose. Suddenly the players feel there's nothing to play for. Winning against ManU on sunday suddenly means nothing. Why would they want to win?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 10:33pm On Sep 20, 2007
