First of all, I thank God Almighty for directing my path to nairaland n this thread in particular.

My special thanks goes to Leosirsir for being there for me thru it all, then Nattybanta, Nonnyg, Adollyboy for all their advice and encouragement and to the house in general for updating us at all times. ( I know am always in the ghost mode sha, pardon me)

I av received my visa, booked my flight n by God's grace, I am good to go, I don't even knw how else I can express my joy n how I can show appreciation to the aforementioned people but I pray that God will continue to bless them n be with them always. (Amen)

I don't know if it is illegal, but for peeps with low bta, there are lots of Nigerians looking to buy dollars at 375 official rate. If you could do a deal with them or borrow from somebody and change it back to naira later. I hope it's legal

My brother, the initial plan was just for me to disvirgin my passport. Because America and Canada where I have my eyes usually ask of travel history. So the agent went ahead with the visa and flight payment. Only for me to search for cheap places I can hang out in dubai and I stumbled on this thread. A little too late. So instead of moving round hunting for babes (initial plan), lemme use the time and hunt for job and hope for the best

got me laughing, you would have used South Africa , Georgia or even Sg, dubai has become more popular. in terms of the Job, try getting direct contacts to companies HR and so you could go there and have an interview. also try to get here before saturday so u can attend some walk in interviews which mostly happens sat/sundays. but your case is complicated sha, cos most employers ask for candidates with visit visa (90days)

Thank you sir, although I am staying for just 5days , I intend to maximise my 5 days. Although it may seem an uphill task to achieve in 5days, I have started applying to those jobs posted in previous pages and I am always quick to mention when I will b around. Don't dismiss me, I believe in miracles. I have readied my 16 passport photographs plus different variations of my cv. I also pray to see a walk in interview during my short stay. Do u believe it's achievable in 5days...!!! Give me some hope

5 days in UAE? do you have scheduled possible job interviews? are you coming because of a job or u have something else you planned doing here and trying to kill two birds with one stone? cos ayam not understanding

with respect to the 3 countries mentioned, Oman is your best bet. cos i ve some Dr friends in Saudi that are trying to move to UAE or other Middle Eastern Countries. but like i always say, one man's food is another man's poison and vice versa. just follow your instinct and you would live a better life anywhere you find yourself.

1. when a company offers accommodation..is it a shared accommodation or personal

2. how much average salary for an safe holder?

1. As much as they can fit into the room with regards to the job mentioned in no. 2
2. A safe holder is same as a security guard job. they earn atleast 1750aed monthly some pay upto 3500aed, you need to also pass the DPS course.

mine has always been one page and it draws their attention whenever I have reason to submit it. Just put the essential things that qualifies u.

its not a must. It can b on one page and as thick as anambra soup, but some 2pages cv can be as owerri soup.

referees are not yet important, they are just interested in ur work experience And academic qualifications. Those are what gets u closer to sitting with a HR.

Oya, tell us where we can get it cheaper and how much sim card costs.A lot of these guys are coming in as green horns, so any little way we can help them safe cost,make we contribute.Even if you no tell them how much,give them a range.

hehehheehehhe. the tin is that at the airport, its 55aed, but once you get into town you can get two sim cards(DU and Etisalat) for 10aed. the problem is how would the dull guys get to town without communication, and relying on just free wifi. till they get to town.

This company exists, but i only know their dubai office. You never can tell if the recruiter is legit, u need to just go into it and give us feedback as events unfolds. With that we can determine if its a due process or not. Meanwhile did u apply for any such job?,

the main aim for going to MOE and MOFA is for UAE embassy to accept the document as valid before stamping. so if u have no plans of attesting at UAE embassy, then no need going to MOE and MOFA kalas
