dollytino4real:I am very sure that I am not your mate. If your self acclaimed maturity is true, you would have reasoned that the mumu girls should be the ones to be blamed. They are the ones that need their heads examined. |
TSRC:No be only 5 How many balls came to her throughout the match? Korea had just 7 shots on goal in the entire 90 minutes. Of the seven shots, the only threatening one was the one she fumbled. She tried no doub tbut comparing her with Osoala's performance makes no sense. Even the midfielders did not cover as much distance as Osoala and she scored a television goal that can be up for one of the best goals of the tournament. Osoala also broke a lot of attacks fromthe Koreans and disrupted their plays severally. |
dollytino4real:Is it the guy that needs a brain check or your mumu gender wey pose bare chested with am? You guys are always quick to blame guys for your stewpidity. If nude ladies appear in videos, you blame the guy rather than talking sense into ur fellow mumu females. Moreover, the pic looks like it was a festival or something. The babes look like those from South Africa. |
JastSiryin:The dude is highly delusional and know no Jack about those he mentioned. They had a very large base of experience before picking up those jobs. |
cheezy4real:Did he not meet an already well structured team? Even without a coach, they would still hold their own. Coaches have ways of structuring their teams in a certain way and coaches like Mou, Pep etc have been known to do this. Coaching a team goes beyond merely planning how the formation will be or what formation would be used. |
prodigyhenry:Stop dishing out fake information. Even those you mentioned hadn't coached the top clubs before being appointed, they were part of a robust coaching crew of such clubs or had been so much around the club's overall coaching. Was Zidane not more of an assistant coach at Real Madrid before picking up the job? The truth is, Lampard is not yet ripe for the job. He still has a lot to learn as a coach. I watched a couple of his Derby games. They should have made him a coaching staff for some years to see the pressure from that side and be part of the team's analysis for a while. Giving him the role straight up is a bad decision in my opinion. |
TSRC:She got scrappy shots and nothing threatening.Having shots at goal does not necessarily imply that the shots were of good quality. I have been watching almost all the matches at this female world cup and Osoala is one of the very few players that cover the highest distance. How many of our players can cover the kind of distance she coveres. Her goal was the nerve settler and was so good. The manner she gave the slightest touch to the ball to go into the net is something that a lot of male strikers cannot even do at such a tight angle. She made a couple of heavy touches and you want to criticise her. The young lady on haircut that supplied her the pass is another fantastic player. She was the second best after Osoala. Did you not see how Kalu came in and got tired and could not even move much? For female football standard, Osoala is awesome with her runs and pressure. Do you even know how many moves she intercepted and used her physique to stop a lot things? Her man of the match award was well deserved. |
TSRC:You mean those female analysts? What do those ones know? NNadozie did not have much to do. Most of the balls she was handling were scrappy shots. She even fumbled when a very light cross that could be held was played. It is either you catch it or punch it well if you do not want to catch it. What did she do with it? She laid it on the path of a Korean player. |
Mrshape:Lolz. They are much o. I do not know the names you have on your list already. Perhaps I could add more. |
Mrshape:I bet you did not realise that there are a lot of badazz mathematicians on Nairaland. ![]() |

Mrshape:Okay. Kudos to him. |
Mrshape:What percentage of science WASSCE candidates offer technical drawing? Less than 20%. Now, what percentage of WASSCE candidates offer technical drawing? Less than 4%.The technical drawing reference is therefore a no no. Do you know the amount of time it will take to start sketching 3D diagrams on a blackboard before explanation out of the 40 minutes alloted to the class? Respect to teachers who try to use their limited resources to teach. My point is that, education requires funding. The world has gone beyond the methods most schools use in teaching. 21st century teaching and learning methods should be used. Should all these be provided, everything becomes smooth. This is why our own students pack A1 like beans in all these low standard WASSCE examinations. Look at the public schools for example, some parents are satisfied because no money is being collected from them and it is free education but they fail to ask the question "What is the quality of the free education?" By the time they start demanding more, maybe government will be truthful enough to tell them that "A qualitative education cannot be free." Talking about Longitude and Latitude, that is the most poorly taught topic in most Nigerian schools. Most teachers do not even understand it. I was planning to do a video on it and then upload but I have not had the chance to. |
Mrshape:Okay. Abeos made a mistake in his labelling though. |
Rezos017:I did not look at your 35 degrees well before. I have seen it. The only problem we seem to have now is the 2D versus 3D approach. I wish you guys are close by. |
Mrshape:I see! Doing 3D imaging and teaching the concept is a bit advanced for that level considering the fact that 95%+ of secondary schools do not have the resources to teach such. It cannot be well illustrated on a white board for students. I may teach in a privileged school with all the necessary facilities like Interactive Flat Panels and necessary software to make an illustration. However, less than 5% of schools have this. If I get you right, do you mean to say that I gave the correct 2D analysis and imaging while you guys gave the 3D solution? |
Mrshape:Were the students expected to draw a 3D diagram for the straightforward sketch? Let me see the diagram you have. |
castro316:Okay. Sorry about that if you are offended. Quickly check the previous page to see the images I attached. You are free to criticise it. |
Rezos017:Yes, I know Rezos017:Sure. Rezos017:This is not possible bro because the tower is due North of point D and as such cannot be 35 degrees. When one point is due north of another, it has ot be straight up and cannot make an angle of 35 degrees. Rezos017:The only mistake you are making is that you did not think about the fact that the top of the tower was the initial reference point. I have attached some diagrams on the first page. Check them out |
Rezos017:Bro, in your diagram, C,A,D are not on the same horizontal plane. |
castro316:Were you not the one that started insults by asking for my maths grades? You just come online to talk anyhow without even knowing whom you are talking to. You produced a diagram that does not follow and I made a simple observation. Produce a simple diagram that has A,C and D on the same horizontal plane and satisfies the question. Should this be too much to do nwa teacher? You teach sss 3 maths, kudos! . I have produced countless students that have gone on to massacre exams in further mathematics and mathematics with 90%+ of them scoring A1 even though that is not my own subject. In my subject, I have never produced a B2 in an external examination. You can take that to the bank. |
Rezos017:This is still wrong bro. What angle is supposed to be made by a point due East of another point? |
naturalwaves:
|
Abeos:It is a tricky question. The whole idea is to make you realise that a horizontal level must not necessary be like this ----------------------------. It can be turned and still be a horizontal level. You attack these sort of questions by starting from the directions given and by following them step after step then everything will fall into place. |
castro316:Oponu! no be only 3D na 4D. We are all here to learn. What you drew makes no sense. Your points, C, A ,D should be on the same horizontal ground according to the question. Now, look at the rubbish you drew. Is this too difficult to understand? You need to learn how to take contrary opinion. Anyway, I have attached a step by step guide to put your likes through. Follow the steps and see what you will get. In case you do not understand, I will be attaching a step after step image soon. Maths no be lacram la pour o. |
Mrshape:SOLUTION Question says; C and D are observational posts on the same horizontal ground at the foot A of a vertical tower AB. The tower is 18m due North of D and 24m due East of C Question should be C and D are observational posts on the same horizontal ground AS the foot A of a vertical tower AB. The tower is 18m due North of D and 24m due East of C After correcting the grammar, this is how it should be solved. STEP 1 Mark a dotted point as the point D and trace it up to another dotted point. The second dotted point represents the tower. This should be a straight line. why? Because the question says the tower is 18m due North of D. So, label the line as 18m STEP 2 From that second dotted point which represents the tower, draw another straight, dotted lines to the left and put a dot at the end to represent C. Label it as 24m. Why? The question says that, the tower is 24m due East of C STEP 3 From the question , we know that points C and D are on the same horizontal ground. So, draw a straight line to join points C and D STEP 4 Draw a straight line to join the line /CD/ from our initially dotted point that represents the tower. THAT STRAIGHT LINE YOU HAVE JUST DRAWN IS THE TOWER AB STEP 5 We know from the question that the foot of the tower is A and the top is B. So, label the bottom that is now on the same line as /CD/ as A and label the top as B. You will then observe that the diagram is in line with the question as C,A and D are all on the same line. I will attach the necessary pictures when I get on a phone I can snap with or when I can sketch. I am on the laptop now. I hope this helps someone. Note that in the diagram, a straight line was drawn fom D to the tower point to show that the tower point is due north. The line is not the tower CC: Castro316, Rezos017, Mrshape,Abeos, Airtimex

I have solved it by changing it. The question is quite tricky. If you do it well you would see why. |
castro316:This diagram is wrong because your observational points C and D are not on the same horizontal ground as the foot A of the tower. |
Rezos017:The problem is not the diagram. The question is even grammatically wrong. The first sentence is so wrong. There is a difference between "at" and "as". The opening line of the question says; C and D are observational posts on the same horizontal ground at the foot A of a vertical tower AB C and D cannot be on the same horizontal ground of the vertical tower and be at A as the questions says. Perhaps, they meant to say that; C and D are observational posts on the same horizontal ground AS the foot A of a vertical tower AB. The moment I saw this, I did not even bother to take the question serious. |

. Although how will that due north be placed then cos it's a bit ambiguous
