I paid 310k for a self con here. Before then, my flat was around 650k. I saw a shared apartment for 350k at Lagos Business school area but the first occupant prefers just females as flat mates. I saw a shared duplex apartment at Peace estate for 450k ( Masters bedroom). My friend stays in a shared flat at Igbo Efon for 250k an annum for just a room in the 3 bedroom apartment. You think the Island is the same as your village? If you go to Lekki, Ikoyi axis, you will see self contain for 700k per annum. I even saw one for 1 million per annum plus service charges.

There is no shared apartment around Ajah for 3k a week.
Most shared apartments are usually a room in a flat which is usally ensuite or a room in a duplex.
The average least price you can get a shared apartment around here is 150k per annum (if your room is the smallest or something like that). A room in a shared apartment goes for 200k,250k,300k,350k per annum around this axis.

Tottenham needs a ball mover on the midfield........the attackers seem to be wide apart and Son is so predictable with his style of trying to wait for a long pass to catch the opposition unawares. Overall, they have been a bit sluggish with the way they move the ball and all the touches.They need to be sharper with everything. Moreover, they are losing all the aerial battles and generally playing as if there is nothing to play for. I will suggest that Lucas Moura be brought in and replaced with Harry Kane........Harry Kane seems too rusty with movements and touches. Son should also switch position away from that left flank.
The players are playing as if they have been busy under the sheets for a couple of days.

What do you mean "not just tarred". I meant streets that were initially filled with mud/sand were turned into tarred roads from the scratch. If he(Ambode) reconstructed, that means something was in place before then. The ones I am referring to under Fashola were done in places that no one could have thought they could even smell tar. So, his rehabilitation/ reconstruction is inconsequential here. Moreover, Aregbesola's achievement in Alimosho as Tinubu's commissioner for works dwarfs whatever Ambode did in Alimosho. Like I said, Ambode does not come close. Fashola was a machine with an excellent efficiency.......Ambode is just your typical administrator and nothing more!

Sometime in 2018, Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode gave the approval for the construction of a flyover at Fagba intersection at the Iju-Ishaga axis. This is to ease the perennial traffic gridlock and reduce travel time within the axis. That project appears to be on hold.

However, a flyover bridge along the newly reconstructed Oshodi-Airport road, by NALCO bus top, is fast approaching completion.

When completed, the Airport road bridge, out of the 4 flyovers bridges he initiated, will be the third flyover bridge completed by the Ambode administration.

During Fashola's time, Muiz Banire (the commissioner for environment) was well known because he performed. How many people know Ambode's commissioner for environment and commissioner for works? Femi Hamzat who was Fashola's commissioner for works was so excellent. A bulk of Ambode's contracts were awarded to incompetent idiotas. Ambode lacks planning and organisation such that for 6 months plus, only about 3 people would be found on the stretch of road from iyana-Ipaja to Oshodi eating gala with their helmet on while the road is in a terrible state. Yet, people were suffering so much. Because of his gross negligence and lack of organisation, I had to stay permanently on the Island for the meantime.
It is an insult to even attempt to compare Ambode to Fashola. Fashola's achievements dwarfs Ambode's by a wide margin. I cannot forget how my very long road(street) was tarred in just 3 days. Under Fashola, nothing less than 200 streets were tarred as the LG chairmen were well followed up. Most of the streets around Iyana Ipaja axis, Alimosho etc were tarred with drainage within a very short period of time. Give same to Ambode and it will never be completed in 1 year.
Ambde tried the best he could as he cannot perform beyond his capacity. However, he does not come close to the achievements of the previous government. You may want to exhume some old threads about his predecessor here to compare and contrast.

Lagos has always been on point with prompt payments. I was a former staff of Lagos State Government and Lagos never disappoints. Moreover, the in-coming deputy governor i.e Olufemi Hamzat is a wizard and an IT guru. He was the brain behind a lot of technological innovations in Lagos under Fashola and successfully automated a lot of processes. The "Oracle" software for payments/ salaries etc is world class! He was also Fahola's commissioner for works and thus, has experience and will never execute contracts like the way Ambode does his by awarding contracts to a lot of incompetent people. I am sure this incoming team will surpass Ambode by far the same way the former governor beat him hands down.
