Yeah. You're right about the relegation threatened teams. They play a style I like to term "anywhere belle face".

I'm good though bin real occupied, seems you're getting me wrong. I said "he is the manager and he is knows best" because that's the only reason or excuse I could give for his always fielding Fellaini despite Fellaini's style of play, Fellaini is nt a man utd first team player but a back-up plan
Lol@back up plan. So funny. Okay. I getyou perfectly now.

I never said he wanted to win, I only said he stood a better chance of winning fielding the players I mentioned cos Fellaini was making us play aerial football instead of counter-attack. By the way, Mou never wanted a draw against Chelsea cos it was obvious (he even affirmed it after the match) that it was the same idea he had when he came up against them in the F.A. cup match. More importantly, every manager wants to win
Which manager wouldn't mind a win. Read my analysis again. That is Mou sttyle. The fact that the play was more defend minded does not mean that he would not mind a win and that was the same reason they did not set out in your preferred mode.
Ps:Do you really take this long to reply to mentions? I guess you were busy. How are you?

So if I say

X + 6 = 19, find x

According to you guys, an advanced way of thinking is to say, let's try 1+6, 2+6, 3+6,..............7+6, ....10+6,........

Let's be honest..
That is what was tagged pure undiluted intellect by those herein grin cheesy grin

Bros. this your thread is filled with teenagers trying to score chicks. We are talking a real math club on Nairaland.
Did you peruse the thread from page 1 to page 256 to make such conclusion? Fine, the starter of the thread made a bit of chest beating and all. Subsequently, it was refined and made better. On this forum, I have met close to 10 mathematicians and each one of them can stand their own anywhere. Alot of them came to the thread and assisted people. The thread is one of the longest threads if not the longest in the Education section. I only asked you to get in there and contribute your quota if you have any whenever you are free to. You seem on a very high horse and you need to calm down. Moreover, you do not seem to ooze any iota of intelligence aside doing side talks and igniting infernos and you are a very bad listener as well. You only hear whatever you want to hear or whatever tickles your fancy.

The aim of the discuss was never to place anyone above any except if I missed the purpose. It was meant to be a regular intellectual discussion. It is not a competition. If you feel they are better than me, that is your opinion. Perception is something that cannot be debated. That is your perception and you are entitled to it and like I said earlier on, I have nothing to prove to you or anyone.

please recommend a nice perfume not more than 4k
A white bottled CASABLANCA perfume for fragrance and a blue bottled ENGLISH BLAZER spray for freshness. A combination of these two should not exceed 4k. The casablanca perfume is not oil based but it should last throughout a whole day. Although, I do not know what your style is and the kind of statement you want to make when you get close to people but those two up there are subtle, soft and just cool. Nothing hard or nose choking, more like a natural smell in terms of softness. A week won't go by without someone asking you the name of the perfume you are wearing except if they are shy to ask or just want to deliberately let go.

tongue

By the way - we already hashed this out yesterday. Keep up. See this:
The ideal thing is to first of all use the wuru wuru method now before setting out to solve so that one will have an idea of what the answer should look like. It is a smart way of reasoning. However, you are failing to get my points. Sometimes, the answer set may span a larger loop and because of that we need to set out standard ways of resolving such questions for the sake of other people watching( same thing cacawa was trying to communicate to you). You be chairman now. Who would doubt your ability of being able to solve such question.

Because its a fun out of the box kind of way of doing it

Good. Children can teach you are lot about imagination and creativity. Be a child once in a while and you will see things differently.

So? - as long as the child knows the answer has to be positive definite so he starts from zero instead of negative infinity. This child has learn far more mathematics than the people subtracting 2 from both sides to see what happens. Whatever its worth the child probably knows the subtraction method too. tongue

It would be trial and error if I didn't know where to start and were to stop. See my post above about the creative child who knows where to start counting from. That is the key. There are quite a few advanced mathematics techniques that employ spanning a limited space to find element or elements that fulfill a particular restraint. This is what I did here. If you are wise you will learn. tongue

If you truly believe I cannot solve this problem in the normal (school textbook way) then why are you engaging me in this conversation? cheesy
You are very funny. You just have a way of evading things even though you know what I was talking about. Your evasive techniques shows how intelligent you are. Moreover, why would I think that you won't be able to solve the question? Like I said, it is for the benefit of others watching as well. No hard feelings and stop dribbling up and down joor.

Thank you bro. Since Akinphysicist has decided to dance in circles and not provide a suitable solution to the question nor provide an alternative method that is more acceptable, let me solve it through a way that is devoid of wuruwuru and trial by error like he did for the benefits of secondary school students and others viewing the thread. See solution attached below.

AkinPhysicist:
Uggh! Not again. These people and their wahala tongue Assumptions are part of mathematics. Look it up. If an integer solution exists you will find it. If you don't find it then you will KNOW that an integer solution does not exist. This itself is KNOWLEDGE you did not have prior to the count test. In the absence of an integer solution, then a more general approach can then be used to solve the problem.
Why would you make an assumption when there is a legitimate way to go about it without assumption? What you did is not different from a child being asked to solve for X in 2+X=6 and then you start testing 1,2,3 etc to see which one will give 6. That is trial method and it is demeaning for someone of your calibre. Provide a suitable solution that is devoid of trial and error.
EducationRe: Nairalander Offers 10 Thousand Naira For Anyone Who Solves This Logical Riddle by naturalwaves: 2:39pm On May 02, 2017
AkinPhysicist:
If you don't understand then ask questions. Here is my response to someone who was wise enough to seek clarification:

Kelvinreality - after giving Cacawe all night to answer the question above, I have concluded he is incapable of basic logic. Here is the explanation:

x^1/2 + (x+15)^1/2 = 15. If an integer solution exist, then you can obtain it by counting. Here is how it works.

Let a = x^1/2 and b= (x+15)^1/2 so the eq. becomes a + b =15. So choose a pair of integer a and b whose sum gives you 15. However, NOT all pairs qualify because a^2 has to be equal to b^2 - 15 (since both have to be equal to x). So all you have to do is count from 0 to 15 to see which pair qualifies. Clearly any pair with a from 0 to 5 fails because in this case a^2 is clearly less than b^2 -15. You don't even need to do any calculation - all you need to know is if b^2 -15 is greater (or smaller) than or equal to a^2. If its equal then you have your solution. No calculator required. Nothing. Just basic logic of counting.
You are so funny bro. How will you start up a mathematical solution with " If an integer solution exists". That's not right at all. Okay, what if an integer solution does not exist? What universally accepted principle are you going to use for it? Show it! You can't be substituting unknowns with integers based on logic except incase of objectives or something that requires a fast answer and thaat is not the case here.
