PoliticsRe: 2016 Polls: Bayelsans Are Wiser Not To Re-elect You Again, Dickson Tells Sylva by Nature129(m): 3:48pm On Jun 08, 2015
chiefinalowo:
I just hope that PDP will not field Dickson.
Bayelsans will not vote for Dickson, that is the truth.
Don't be so sure. Bayelsans are lazy...even Dickson acknowledged that on Bayelsa Radio live program. I am no Bayelsan but I've lived in Akenfa, Dickson govt isn't a popular one because he doesn't share money like his predecessors.

Bayelsans like "chop make I chop" and sadly, Dickson isn't doing that. Dickson is really trying in developing Bayelsa but his people don't seem to appreciate it because he doesn't share money.

Is that so? I am not a bigot or ignorant tribalist as you, but what states in your region have produced as much successful people like Ogun:
Obafemi Awolowo, Olusegun Obasanjo, Yemi Osinbajo, Wole Soyinka, MKO Abiola shall I go on or have you had enough.

Abeg, let me tell you right now no ethnic group in this country is better than another, drop this attitude.
Anambra State, sir. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Odimegwu Ojukwu, Chinua Achebe, Alex Ekwueme etc. Then when I start mentioning their multi-billionaires, you go just run away.

Please keep your Las Vegas story. We can have both tourism and industries like Lagos. If you ask me, industries are more important so that our future wives are not suddenly turned into prostitutes whose best talent is to sexually satisfy visiting tourists.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR SOMEONE WITH DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR SKILL IN ORACLE AND MYSQL?
Oracle is also very nice, but like networking, most companies prefer people with experiences unlike web development and programming where someone can easily be asked to prove himself. Also, if you made a 2.1 or upper credit then you don't have a problem because some companies take fresh graduates as graduates trainee and retrain them
EducationRe: Photos Of A Secondary School In Port Harcourt by Nature129(m): 4:17pm On May 24, 2015
Rivers State has the best primary and secondary school structures in Nigeria. Rotimi Amaechi built sweet-looking model primary and secondary schools across the state. You won't notice if you have never being to PH because they are scattered across the city. But then in every 12 there MUST be a Judas, perhaps he can't finish everytin in 8yrs...his successor has to continue from where he stopped.

What's your advice for those willing to specialize in safety
For safety, just do General HSE (1&2), advanced HSE3 and HUET(Helicopter Underwater Escape Training). With those 3 you are good to go. HUET, BOSIET and/or Nebosh certify people to go offshore.

But if you can't afford huet, you can do gen hse and advanced hse. Companies like JCInternational pay their safety trainers over 150k and offshore jobs are the most lucrative jobs in Nigeria.

I studied IT in school and majored in networking, but I am now a safety expert because I couldn't get a networking job. I'll advise IT entrants to avoid networking because its jobs always ask for years of experience. Web development and programming are the hottest IT areas now

well, i feel 180/150 average pass mark is okay for jambites .

the score doesnt even count for private schools sef ...
my friend got admission into madonna last year with only blood test , no form of paper exam was taken.
No insult intended, but "most students" who go to private universities are those who have tried gaining admission into govt schools over the years but failed repeatedly. If your dad is rich, all one needs is to do pass O'level and get admitted into private universities immediately.
RomanceRe: 10 Hilarious Facts About Nollywood Films by Nature129(m): 10:39pm On May 21, 2015
This post is just crap! Despite all these flaws Nollywood films hit US Box Office and displace many Hollywood films. Nollywood is getting better as there will always be room for improvement. Nigeria commands entertainment in Africa with films and music. Nigerians are a very creative people. Obviously, you can't compare Nollywood films with that trash our ladies fall in love with on Telemundo...OP, abeg go sleep!

PoliticsRe: Between Igbo, Yoruba And Other Nigerian Women - Femi Kayode by Nature129(m): 7:00am On May 18, 2015
The tribe a lady comes from doesn't matter - we are all Nigerians. We should support our women to become the best they want to be. But let's not always focus on one's tribe, Nigeria first. I know there would have been another online tribal war if Mr. Kayode had said otherwise about Igbo women.

I am Igbo, but I just feel we should focus more on our Nigerianess, and not the tribe a lady comes from. Personally, I am tired of reading "Igbo articles" online.

Thank you Mr Kayode for the write-up anyways. I hope you get your answer soon
PoliticsRe: Which Party Will Produce The Next Best Governor From 2015 To 2023? by Nature129(m): 6:41am On May 18, 2015
nationwide1:
PDP has always produced the best governors.

From 1999 to 2007, Donald Duke of Cross River State was absolutely outstanding with stellar quality of governance.

From provisions of basic infrastructure to making Cross River exporters of pineapple to turning the hitherto unknown enclave to tourism destination in the world.

From 2007 to 2015, Godswill Akpabio has revolutionized democratic dividends with uncommon transformation. The governor who does not play politics with the quality of his projects.

All his projects, from roads to hospitals, stadium, airport, electronic library, underground drainage systems, power plant, schools, are world class.

Which party will produce the next best governor from 2015 to 2023?
I am looking at Mallam El-Rufai of Kaduna, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu. Ambode looks like a dummy who may not be able to look Tinubu in the face and tell him, "Sir, my priority is our people not you."

Abagworo:
I think the schools are almost entirely completed. He also did mostly rural roads in 1st term. What I ask of him is to complete the 27 hospitals and make name for his generations unborn. He should do less investment in Owerri city but mark the roads and clean up Douglas road. I passed Owerri and was highly impressed with level of cleanliness aside the Douglas area. He should be selfless in demolision and expansion of the road.
IMSG should build industries in Imo State so as to encourage Imolites to come home, make a living and contribute to the devt of the state. If govt can't manage them, they may privatise them later. Some of us are away from home working and doing biz, but we wish we were home though some conditions at home are not right. These conditions explain why students finish from futo, imsu, nekede, etc but relocate to Lagos, Abuja, and PH in search of jobs.

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by Nature129(m): 11:59pm On May 15, 2015
Tips to My Governor, My Governor!!

Owelle shouldn't award MANY elephant projects in this tenure. He should complete the 27 general hospitals, the 305 schools, the centenary towers, 3 ongoing universities and ensure that Shoprite is completed before he leaves since he couldn't give us Heartland Shopping centre. Then he should also focus mainly on industrial revolution, fixing rural roads, electrifying rural communities and sinking thousands of boreholes in rural areas in Imo.

As it is now, he initiated projects he may not complete...all uncompleted projects are USELESS!
