Ejiyke2007, nice pix...please keep them coming Ujoatu, Sir,could you please show us what we have not seen before? Some of the pix have already been posted here. Ndewo! Abagworo, I see you! You are indispensable here. We need more pix and less talk, biko. Bravo to y'all for bringing us up to speed with the latest development in Imo. I think NLanders in Imo villages where IMSG is carrying out new projects should snap and share the project pix here to enrich this thread. Yes, someone has to prove Mandax wrong. I understand his arguments though, and I must say they are very "valid." Imo State is not just about Owerri, but Imo State is not just about Orlu either. chesterlee: True. This is simply because they contributed immensely to fund Uncle Buhari's election campaigns. And sadly, PMB is busy using EFCC to probe into how PDP funded their 2015 election campaigns, but no one is asking how APC states funded Uncle Buhari's presidential campaigns Smh 1 Like 1 Share |
Politics / Re: EFCC Must Stop Acting Irresponsibly – Fayose by Nature129(m): 10:24am On May 08, 2016 |
It is rather sad that former PDP leaders who constituted EFCC used it to fight corruption within the same party, but now Buhari is using the same EFCC to witch-hunt the opposition. This is not good for democracy. Mr Fayose and other PDP governors should rise to the occasion and challenge these people, Buhari is gradually taking us all back to 1984 both in areas of dictatorship and economy collapse |

The day Buhari openly said to the world that those that gave him 5% votes wouldn't get the same treatment as those that gave him 97% votes was the day he ruined the little unity left of this country. What a careless comment! Forgetting that ND people who feed the country atm fall within the 5% category Anything Buhari sees, he should take it. That old man doesn't even seem to me like he cares what anyone thinks or feels. IMO, Nigeria should be collapsed into regions and the regions pay 10% IGR to the centre. And regions can create states if they wish to. Taxes generated at the center can be used to service the military and not execute any physical projects while the regions own the police and fully own their resources. Any region can borrow from another region if they are broke.. This way the attention and enormous power given to the center will be slashed. Presidency slots will be rotated along regions. And Nigerians won't be bothered to be president. This way all regions will grow at their pace. Northerners will never like this idea because they are the ones benefiting most from this dysfunctional system I support these militants, the present federal system isn't working. When states can't pay salaries because enough money is coming from the center is a sign that this system isn't working. Hence; it's not feasible. It's high time we went back to the regions. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Why Do Nigerians And Blacks Behave Like Animals? by Nature129(m): 8:55am On May 05, 2016 |
Good topic... OP, I can relate to this. Honestly, much as I am a Nigerian black, I am often compelled to believe that Black people are not normal - no insult intended. From the way we think to the way we do things, all these things are just questionable. For example, I was shocked that a female friend complains that when we chat I don't use "shortcuts." She complained that I don't use "k" in place of "ok" and "cm" in place of "come" just like everyone does. Surprisingly, she finds it "abnormal." So believe me when I say I know that feeling. What is even more annoying is that the so-called ones who claim to have OND/HND/BSc/PhD don't show any difference in character even though their schools found them "worthy in character and in learning." I haven't given up on Nigerians though because I notice they always behave whenever they leave the shores of Nigeria, but become their normal self when they return. Perhaps, Nigerians believe that Nigeria is a country where lawlessness reign supreme especially when you have "some change" in your account and connected to people in corridors of power. Finally, one thing is certain - I am unique. Yes, I don't behave like them and living in the midst of people who have this sort of mentality not only weighs me down but equally frustrates me. Nigerians need genuine attitude change. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: 10 Buhari Ministers Threaten To Tender Resignation Letters by Nature129(m): 4:28pm On May 04, 2016 |
In all fairness to the ministers, I think N4m is not good enough considering that it's Abuja. They deserve good accommodation so as to give their best to Nigeria. I can understand that PMB feels they are mere noise makers, but the truth is that he can't achieve much without effective ministers. One year is already gone and times are getting harder for Nigerians. If PMB really wants to save money for Nigeria, he should start with himself not people's parents (ministers). After all, he's been travelling all of the world with taxpayers' money without coming home with reasonable achievements. He even refused to sell some of the private jets he didn't need now he wants to practise cutting costs with people's parents Those ministers deserve better else they will just loot this administration dry and tell PMB, "Oga, we are in democracy so let's meet in court" like Metu 2 Likes |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Is The Difference Between Application Letter And Cover Letter? by Nature129(m): 7:35pm On May 02, 2016 |
Darayola: From my findings, yes, they are. They are both formal letters and must have both your address and the coy's address. In a cover letter, you'll discuss the content of your CV as well as why you are the best (wo)man for the job. More tips: Notice that if you start with, Dear Sir/Ma/Recruiting Officer/HRM, then you must end with "Yours faithfully," but when you start with a name like "Dear Mr. Tunde, Dear Engr. Emma, Dear Dr. Emeka" then you must end with "Yours sincerely." Just get the dictionary I talked about from a friend or even an enemy, it will help you with these things |

I'm a big fan - I have 3 Asa albums but I don't really like the Beautiful Imperfection album. IMO, it is her worst album so far. Asa is super talented and of course, her songs are classic unlike the hugely commercialised contents other singers release and our media shove them down our throats. Asa is unique! |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Is The Difference Between Application Letter And Cover Letter? by Nature129(m): 12:55pm On May 02, 2016 |
Ezegozie: Anyone can easily pass an application letter for a cover letter because both of them serve the same purpose, but there is a difference. The difference between the 2 is that an application letter "can stand alone" while a cover letter "can't stand alone." To make myself understood clearer, when you send an application letter, you don't necessarily have to send a CV alongside unlike a cover letter. So a cover letter just like the name denotes covers/serves your CV. That is, when you send your CV to an employer, you send your cover letter alongside. A good cover letter will always say, "As you will see from my enclosed CV..." This tells your prospective employer that you are discussing what you have on your CV. As for samples, go to Google search and type "Good cover letter samples" and click on "image." They will give you lots of them. Alternatively, get a copy of Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 8th Edition, to get all the info you need about how to write cover letters, CVs, essay, films, reports, proposals, etc on its thick page. Remember that good CV and cover letters don't give jobs, they merely earn you interviews. Hope this helps... 82 Likes 8 Shares |

fiizznation: I didn't want to reply you initially but I feel I owe myself that responsibility to because many people are already buying into this trash. It pains me real bad how some of you come to the Internet and spew trash about places you have never been to all your life!!!! Well, I lived in a town called Emene before I moved to Lagos. Check the location of Emene in your useless Google search. You'll realise it is in Enugu East. Well, we have lots of Fulani herdsmen carrying their cattles about and messing up that environment with animal dungs. Immediately the issue of herdsmen killing Nimbo community people in the same Enugu came up, I personally called my parents and asked them to travel to the village until the situation becomes normal again. So, stop using just what you get from the Internet to form your opinion and shape people's opinions. If you want to get good information, you should visit the scene! When next I visit my parents in Enugu, I'll snap pictures and share with you. Rubbish! #Pissed! 27 Likes |

OP, where is your source? Secondly, Nigeria is a sovereign nation and what the British MP's think can't change anything here. I'm Igbo and I'll say we don't need Biafra but Nigeria should be collapsed into regions; that will be a better deal. Nigeria is too connected to be split now. 2 Likes |
