The reason is that Nigeria before now was divided into 3 main region: Northern, western and eastern. So the major languages of the people in those regions are Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba and Igbo respectively. There are many tribes in the north who don't speak Hausa but nobody cares same thing goes for Ikwerre, ijaw, Ibibio, Efik, etc they are all regarded as minority of the Igbos so don't be surprised if you are called Igbo. You had better learn the language now. I hope that answers your question. |
Heymus:I asked the woman to gimme the adress and she did. I will go. Thank you |
Dear NLders, pls I need help now. I've applied for jobs in many companies that I've even lost count and forgotten the names of those companies. I just got a call from a lady from Descon Energy or so, she said I applied for vacancy in their coy that I am scheduled for an interview 2mao at 10am. I wish to know, is there a real coy that sounds like that? I didn't want to ask her to spell it so that I don't look stupid or get her angry. I've also checked Google with no positive results. Pls reply asap. |

GEJ is using the money he would have used to develop Nigeria to canvass for votes and endorsement. Shame on him |
donald1010:Hello! I'm in Lag too. I got a degree in Information Technology but it seems all jobs here in Lag need people with experiences. I'll be glad if you can link me up. I have a place to stay at Works L/Out. I can do anything. Thanks |
I met an aks babe during nysc and she taught me a couple of things in ibibio, but what's the need learning a language spoken by a few people? Since we parted ways in search of greener pastures I have no one else to speak it with, and I forgot the little she taught me as a result. Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba are still the best because you see those people anywhr you goto not only in Nigeria but in the world |
I know that Elite/pushcv is a big scam but am still considering where to place Nairabet. *Thinking* |
She's beautiful |
I tap into your miracle this morning. Congrats, dear. |
chidyhels:Blasted you? Hmmm. Remember I said "tailor-made." It actually means editing your cover letter, and probably your Cv, to "suite the job you are applying for" while you just write a short message in the email. I do this because I use my BB phone to apply for jobs online. If I copy the content of my cover letter to my phone, it can change its organisation. |
GalaxyBlends:The salary varies as it depends soley on the owner of the station. I've managed a filling station before. I paid cashier 30k, supervisor 40k and my salary was 50k. So the owner decides what he pays as the salaries aren't fixed. Sadly, our pump attendants were paid 10k. I tried so hard to change it but my MD wouldn't let me...he said I could increase their salary from my own salary. |
I love Gordons! He's the best for me |
ejiro2130:Alternatively, you can write a tailor-made cover letter, and CV and save them as attachment in your email. Your email will read: "Dear Sir/Madam, Find attached: Copies of my CV and cover letter. Thank you." That works too. |

clevvermind:Let's stop fooling ourselves with one Nigeria because it doesn't exist. See how hausas are insulting Jonathan because of their born-to-rule mentality yet we claim we are one. The same man who has developed their region more than his own region is also hated by these same people he's trying to please. In the words of Asari Dokubo: "We are all Nigerians but there's nothing like one Nigeria." If a part of the country wants to pull out it's only fair they allowed to if Nigeria truly doesn't need them. Nigeria has been amalgamated for over 100years yet we haven't been able to figure out how to live as one entity. This failed project called Nigeria isn't working - let's face it...we down south don't have anything in common with the north and I wonder why those people still answer Nigerians while they pull us backwards...they hate education |
Emasel:Don't mind those fools. They'll keep searching till thy kingdom comes. Maybe they don't know that IT jobs pay so well now. Someone with 5years experience in IT can't take less than 150k per month as salary. Yeye dey smell !!! |
Driver = 30k Customer Sercice officers=30k Cashier= 35k Sales Rep=35k Nanny=25k This one follow for work? Mtcheeewww |
Get a lawyer to bear witness to an agreement you'll reach with the person that wants to secure the job for you, let it be stated clearly that he'll repay your money if he fails to give you the said job. Also, agree to pay 70% of the agreed sum for the nnpc slot and complete it after receiving your first month salary. Lol. Make the person understand that you had had a bad experience in the past that's why you are involving a 3rd party and not that you don't trust him. A person who's sure that the job he's offering is genuine wouldn't have a problem with signing some documents. |
This is complete bullshit. Since I registered with Pushcv.com, I have never gotten any invites from them. Rubbish! |
mradeybee:Please say Training! Training! Training! Not vacancy! Mtcheeewww |
davide470:Hello! Please can I apply too? Applying for jobs online can be so frustrating because most times I never get invites, even though I carefully make sure that the jobs I apply for are the very ones I meet their requirements. I just have the feeling that the reason is, I don't have referees. Life is hard. |
The babe is fine but she's flat-chested. I like babes with at least moderate boobs because they also help give women shapes(curves) |
The ans is -3 |
sabichele:Tell d hausa/fulani politicians to create jobs for northerners. Everyone must not live in Lagos |
