Anambralstson: Aku Lue Uno: US Based Ukpo Indigene Builds Ultramodern Hostel At Chukwuemwka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus.
In response to the Aku Lue Uno clarion call of the Obiano led administration, a United States based Ukpo Indigene, Engr. Tony Adibeh has built a world-class students hostel at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus.
The Ultramodern hostel built on seventy plots of land is made up of two hundred and eighty-five rooms well furnished, with Gymnasium, Restaurant, Multipurpose hall, with over two hundred capacity, Shopping Mall that contains business centre that is equipped with thirty computer sets for students' use.
The hostel also contains pharmacy, Barbing salon, Hair dressing salon, Maintenance yard, Two borehole facilities with two massive overhead tanks that will be supplying water to the rooms twenty-four hours.
24/7 power supply is assured in the hostel as there are 250kv standby power generator sets, as well as Sola system.
Protection of life and property is also assured in the hostel as it equipped with CCTV cameras, and armed security personnel.
Two Buses are also available for the students' daily conveyance to school.
Speaking, the owner of the hostel, Engr. Tony Adibeh and Wife, Mrs Nkiru Adibeh said they decided to build the hostel in the university to ensure that the students of the school will have a good and conducive environment to live in as obtainable in the western world, and as well to support the developmental strides of Governor Willie Obiano, as well as his Aku Lue Uno clarion call.
Engr. and Mrs Adibeh called on Ndi Anambra to support his vision by patronizing him, as he rents out the rooms at affordable prizes ( three hundred thousand naira per annum, with maximum of two persons per room).
The Hostel is named, " Royale Garden Hostel Complex, and the Motto is: " All Things Come From God".
Governor Willie Obiano was represented at the event by the state Commissioner for Housing, Architect Michael Okonkwo.

Macauley07: Dear NL. Recently, I was offered admission into a federal university to study psychology. I've always wanted to be a lecturer, so I opted for a course that wouldn't be much of a problem to me. My plan is to give in my best so as to come out excellent, go for my Masters abroad and venture into lecturing.
The problem here is: my parent doesn't buy the idea. They keep saying that landing a lecturing job is hard to come bye these days, that I might end up being disappointed. Moreover, a course such as psychology isn't one to expect any thing good from, especially here in Nigeria.
Now they are pleading I consider Nursing, according to them, I stand a higher chance of getting a job in a nursing profession to psychology. They are planning on sending me out of the country after the program. Should I just dash off my dream of becoming a lecturer to pursue nursing?
I love being around young people, and being in a university setting as a lecturer gives me that privilege to teach, mentor and guide them and at the same time work on my self. I think I'll find fulfilment as an academic. I'm confused, what would you advise me, if I were to be your brother? Thanks

So guess what? Just like magic they agreed to what I said (even though I wasn't expecting it to go that way). She sent me the text confirming her parent's approval. For me its a big miracle. If I should tell you the state in question you won't believe it.
So here's my advise to you all who want to get married to the love of your life but no money... Make you and the Babe get strong head work together or else her village people go dey delay una marriage because they want something elaborate. It's good to be stubborn I tell people. Both of you should come up with a plan (not to get her pregnant o. I don't support that please). But the plan will be carried out by your woman. She should stubbornly insist incase the parents are the difficult type, that this is the man she wishes to marry and if they don't let her she will remain single for ever (parents especially mothers dey fear that kind talk) if it doesn't work think of something else.
Just keep trying or else two of una go dey there old. But above all please put God first. He can make even the most hardened of men become soft for your sake. He asked me to tell him everything about me so there are no secrets between us and I did. Starting from secondary school to that day, I told him everything, from my first kiss, the colleague who tried to rape me, my ex who lied about his marital status and disvirgined me etc. he did the same too and I felt a burden roll off my shoulder.
Few days later I began to notice changes in him especially towards my business. I thrive in a male dominated industry in a ratio of 9men to 1woman. I told him to end it now cus I'm fed up, family came in and I later found out that Grace has been telling a lot of lies against hoping to get him for herself as well as hate filled advises from some aggrieved friends who felt ladies from my tribe are no good and just there to "chop money". Apologies were said and received and we continued.
Another time I visited him and we had an argument, he gave me several heavy knocks on my head and I developed a headache and began to insult him which resultedin more heavy knocks. I broke up with him and left. Later my mum called him to ask why he laid his hands on me, he denied it swearing with his life. Said I insulted him and he lost his temper and insulted me back that he's sorry. He began to drop messages everywhere and I eventually gave in.
3rd incident happened on our way back from an event. He saw a message from a colleague he told me to stop doing business with cus he feels the man has his eyes on me which is totally not true. He flared up, stopped the car and was even threatening to beat me up. I came down from his car and stood by the roadside. He came down too and gave me the insult of my life in full public view and glare and told me to enter the car which I refused. I had no money on me and had to beg a stranger for money. By that time he was coming back, he quickly took a picture of both of us and sent it to everybody of how he caught me in the act with my lover on the road. He called me and said that if he must marry me, I must break my business sim card and look for a wife friendly occupation or sit at home.
He later apologised over it. Meanwhile he and my sis don't flow as before as he once called her a prostitute.
I want to call it quits but everyone around me feels it's a mistake and he is saying everything out of anger and if I'm patient enough, he will change completely.
I must admit that he has changed alot since we met but the progress compared to the timeframe and the heat I face everyday is nothing to write home about.
