Legally it shouldn't. Cos the will states that the properties of the deceased be given to his son of which the boy in question isn't. The daughters can fight it out in court and win cos the child isn't the biological son of their dad. He belongs to someone else, which makes him ineligible to claim the inheritance. I believe they already knew this that's why they opted for a DNA test on the boy. |
helinues:Italy performed similar in the last euro and went on to win it. Ivory coast finished with just 3 points after the first round and defeated Nigeria in the finals to win the AFCON. I'm routing for England tho. They'll definitely defeat Spain in the final. |
StormpyBee:Nigeria's crude gas been used by our greedy politicians to collect loans running into billions of dollars. So technically we don't have any crude oil, cos any vessel leaving the country has already been sold. That's what dangote is facing. Why do you think he has been ranting lately. He too isn't finding it easy as well. |
Jicks55:All branches of the military (Army, Navy and Air Force) are expected to have aircrafts. The US Navy has the largest aircraft carrier in the world that carries about 70 jet fighters and a considerable amount of helicopters, all belonging to the Navy. Their Army also have enough aircrafts in its arsenal as well. If the Nigerian Army chooses to own aircrafts, it means they're advancing and we should be happy for that. |
Sometimes I ask myself how those who still support Tinubu sleep at night. Like you're seeing the country collapsing before your very eyes, people are dying of hunger, most families can't even feed...the other day I read where a man withdrew his 2 kids from the university cos he couldn't afford to sponsor them...yet these folks don't care. They're wired to attack anyone who logically criticizes the government and term them Obi supporters or ipob. I asked myself the other day, don't these people go to the market, don't they pay rent, don't they buy fuel or enter public transportation, don't they do business or earn salaries...you can't do all these and be happy with Tinubu regardless of your political affiliation. |
MercyStan:What are your speculations then? |
MercyStan:The White, Orange and Back smoke, what do they mean? |
When I saw them removing the CCTV cameras on and around toll gate, I knew that they wanted to do something bad. It was obvious that there was a massacre there cos I myself saw more than 3 videos of dead people being carried from that spot. The state government tried to cover it up but unfortunately they couldn't. Too much blood has been shed in the country. |
I've been shaking my head since I watched this video. So many Nigerian men are in bad marriages. Most don't even believe in love, they're just there because of their kids. Na wa o. |
sylve11:Lol...when I meant weeks, I didn't mean you'll be eating it everyday for weeks. What I meant was that you can cook it, take the portion you need and refrigerate the remaining whilst eating other meals like swallow, spaghetti, noodles, yam...etc until the urge to eat rice comes up again. And that would definitely take days. So going by my analysis, it can take weeks before it finishes. |
If you sack 600k staffs how many would remain? Nigeria is really sinking. |
I noticed it where I do eat sometimes. The place was literally empty. Last time I was there I told the woman to consider reducing her standard plate of food so as to attract more customers. She was just quiet and I really felt for her. Cos it's not really her fault. Even chicken republic that use to sell their refuel from N1,500 have all increased their prices due to inflation. the last refuel I bought at the chicken republic in MM2 was N2,700. That's why everyone is cooking at home these days. With 10k (or even less) you can make an average soup or stew that would last days or even weeks. On Sunday I made stew with 8k. Bought 2 kote fishes for about N4,400 and 2 half derica size tomato paste. That stew should take me till next week. And believe me, it's much more economical than spending about 4k on just one meal. |
Love800:Of course you'll need a cylinder (preferably kept outside), a hose and your table top cooker. The table top cooker can have 2-4 burners depending on the size. On each of the cookers, there would be a control switch like that of a fan. To turn it on, you'll turn on the gas, and allow it flow through the hose into the burner then turn on the switch and it would ignite by itself without a you having to light a match. It's much safer than the camp gas cos the won't be any leakage of gas in anyway. See the pic below for better understanding.
|
Camp gas are extremely dangerous cos you'll need naked flame to ignite it. Unlike modern gas cookers where you just turn it on and it ignites by itself without the assistance of a lit match or lighter. Sending a kid to turn on that dangerous gas was a huge negligence on the path of the mom. Cos her 7 year old daughter might have ignorantly turned on the gas whilst striking match after match, and by the time the match lit, the already turned on gas had circulated the kitchen Thus leading to the explosion that ended their lives. May their souls rest in peace. |
Jabez55:Your girl should be able to arrange this. Just tell her (your girl) to talk to her parents on your behalf. She knows her parents better than you, so let her handle it. She can tell them that your absence wasn't intentional bla bla bla and use her tears to move them. Once she's able to convince them to host you, a date can be fixed and you'll come and see them. |
Go with an elder (your dad or any elderly uncle) to see them. When you get there apologize for not being able to honour their previous invitation, tell them you had an impromptu meeting at the office. Allow the elder do most of the talking after apologizing. You'll definitely come to some level ground unless they really don't want you to marry their daughter and are just using that as an excuse. |
First it was uniben, now unilag. Gradually Nigeria is crawling back to the stone age. According to the VCs their tariff was increased by over 300%. What would the government gain if universities start shutting down? Companies are groaning, factories are shutting down, foreign firms are leaving, now universities are on the verge of collapsing...yet Nigerians are still silent. Honestly, tribalism is worse than cancer. |
Had my first experience over a decade ago from Lagos to asaba in an AERO Contractor aircraft. It was prayer galore. My seat was by the window, It was useless cos I had to shut off my eyes during take off and landing due to fear. The plane was so noisy that when we finally landed, I disembarked with blocked ear. Flown several times after that, although with less prayers inflight. (had encountered storm inflight once Enugu-Lagos route, was really scary). |
Whenever you're in an area that's prone to flooding and it starts raining heavily, don't try to leave. Just remain there until the rain stops and the flash floods clear. Rushing home amidst the flood can get you stuck in the flood or even worse. Rip to them. |
God1000:The school management didn't call them. They're on escort duty. Providing escort to the car behind. The students were wrong to obstruct their path. Their grievance is with the school management and not the soldiers. |
EreluRoz:We're saying the same thing then. Regina married him for money meaning even if he cheats on her, she'll definitely forgive him cos he has made her comfortable. They is what you ladies make so many guys believe that's why when they (the guys) make money they always want to sample as many pussies as possible cos they believe they now have what it takes to get any woman they want. |
EreluRoz:Chioma has no reason aside money. They way you ladies place unnecessary importance on money is the reason why guys with lots and lots of it cheat. Cos they believe that they have what can get them any lady. Mind you I'm against cheating cos I see it as lack of discipline. But you ladies have to up your game and stop worshiping money so that guys can become more responsible. As for your last paragraph, any broke guy who's cheating on his girlfriend and she still remains with him is definitely satisfying her in bed. When you're being satisfied as a woman you would hardly be thinking straight. |
Tempulated:The one I buy is N1,600. My annoyance is that Tinubu's dumb supporters are still defending him and attacking Peter Obi. Maybe their senses would come back when they can no longer afford to buy the cheapest meal. |
EreluRoz:Sadly our economy says otherwise. You'd be shocked that thousands of girls are wishing they were in chioma's position. Hunger has made so many girls choose money and comfort over loyalty. |
Girls love play boys and romantic guys. Most wouldn't care if he cheats as long as he can take care of them they're ok. Case study chioma and davido |
I support this move. We can't have the government rehabilitating bandits and boko haram members while Nnamdi Kanu is languishing away in prison. If they can be released, then Kanu should be released as well. |
Tinubu doesn't care about Nigerians. He's just looking for means to steal, loot and embezzle money so he can buy out those that matter in 2027 and retain his seat. That's why I shake my head whenever I see his hungry miscreants defending him online. That man would sell Nigeria if it would guarantee him a reelection. He cares about no one but himself. |
