I'm not surprised. Argentina has always been an extremely racial country. |
victorDanladi:Exactly. I noticed this when minimum wage was increased to 30k. A friend of mine who works in a Federal Hospital told me that the increment on his salary was less than 30%. I believe they have a template they use in making the necessary adjustments. |
Honchoslim16:My area one spoon of beans is N500. Those days I used to fancy pap and beans. If I buy N300 beans, I won't even be able to finish it. Now I have no choice than to cook it in my house where I'll be able to eat the quantity that would satisfy me. As for your last paragraph, they won't be dealt with cos Nigeria thrives under corruption. Although it keeps increasing over the years, it has always been there from the onset. This Tinubu's administration has made me understand that Nigeria can never be good. Cos people would rather defend their tribesman whilst wallowing in abject poverty, than stand their ground and vote him out. So many of Tinubu's supporters I know have become beggars. But you would never see them criticize him, they'll keep making excuses for him, one told me that Buhari left an ungovernable country for him. I asked who brought Buhari into power and supported him all through his 8 years? Did Tinubu at any point criticize Buhari's administration? His criticism only started when he felt Buhari developed cold feet towards his ambition. So if Buhari was bad, Tinubu should be held responsible. |
Hope they all wrote their names and reg numbers in a piece of paper and attached it to the gift. That way she won't fail any of them. ![]() I remember back then in school one of my lecturer lost his mom. He then told us to attend the burial. When he saw that we weren't taking it seriously, he told us that he wouldn't be giving us quiz that the burial attendance is 40 marks. Omo the whole department including carryover students chartered buses to attend the burial. At the burial, come and how we were struggling to write our names and reg numbers. Las las everyone passed the course. To be a student in Nigeria no easy o. ![]() |
Honchoslim16:It would certainly get worse cos those at the helm of affairs do not care about you. This is why you have to be very careful who you vote for. Most of the people barking and threatening people to vote for APC in my area have all become beggars. Those they forced into power have abandoned them. Everyday I go to the market I shake my head. Morning fresh biggest size I both N1,400 last month is now 2k. Things keep going up and if you don't adopt the Kenyan method, it would get worse. |
Wetin consine France with Copa America? |
pocohantas:Why do you think so? |
pocohantas:Rumored. Not confirmed. I'm sure he'll obviously deny the rumors. pocohantas:Is it Ehi the gospel artist? pocohantas:I said there are exceptions. Nothing is 100% accurate. I pointed that out. pocohantas:I no wan talk wetin de my mind before someone quotes me and call me a tribalistic person. pocohantas:We're talking about dating and fun remember, not marriage. Cos I'm fully aware of the fact the widows and divorcees do get married. pocohantas:Daddy freeze is mentally unstable. I believe you would agree with me on that. Dude hasn't had a stable marriage in his entire life. pocohantas:Rumored meaning it's not confirmed. pocohantas:I don't know her. But I'd say she belongs to the 5% pocohantas:Belongs to the 5% pocohantas:Wait...which of the Abia Governors, Alex Otti? |
pocohantas:Can you point out any divorced nollywood actresses outside that age bracket that's dating a politician? |
pocohantas:Lol...I said that because majority of married men (wealthy or struggling) would prefer younger girls. And of course there are always exceptions as nothing is 100% accurate which I pointed out by categorizing the ones who have access to wealthy married men (politicians) into 5% Let's look at real life examples. If you would agree with me, most nollywood actresses that flunt expensive cars and houses on social media are within the age bracket of 20-30. Even Genevieve which you and I know, was attracted to atiku in her prime. Do you think someone like Atiku would waste his money on a 40 year old divorcee with kids? Haba! |
pocohantas:The younger a girl is the easier it is for her to get men flocking around her. It's an open secrete. You can't compare a girl of 22 to a divorcee of 40 with kids. Any man who wants fun would obviously opt for the girl of 22. pocohantas:Only a wealthy divorced woman can attract a wealthy married man. A broke divorcee would definitely be ravaged in a hotel by a broke irresponsible married man. That's they way of life. 95% of the time, you attract what you are. pocohantas:Exactly. This means that if her circle is with the average people, then average men would be the ones coming for her. |
pocohantas:Are you a divorced woman...why are you taking this so personal? |
pocohantas:What's the percentage of divorced women dating politicians to the percentage of the ones hustling around to find someone who can take care of them? I can assure you that for every 100 divorced woman you count, less than 5 have access to politicians. So would you build an argument based on that when the majority are out there struggling to find any irresponsible married man who can foot some of her bills? |
Neither of them (single and married ladies) are in love with you. It's just a simple manipulation trick women play in offices to get basic things like lunch and other goodies from weak men like you. For you to fall for that shows how inexperienced you are in the ways women operate. And I can assure you that you won't get to hug any of them let alone see their pants. Just focus on your job and maintain a cooperate relationship with them. That way you've successfully safeguarded your wallet. |
advanceDNA:I disagree. Cos no wealthy married man would fly a divorced woman to the Bahamas or buy her a house in lekki. Those privileges are restricted to young and fresh girls. Divorced women are usually ravaged in hotels and paid off. Married men hardly keep any relationship with them aside calling them to satisfy their sexual desires. |
It only becomes embarrassing when you're not contributing anything to the house. From feeding to bills like electricity, to basic utilities like pure water, liquid soap, toilet paper...etc. If they're the ones doing all these and you're just there eating and sleeping like a new born baby, believe me they'll make life miserable for you with the kind of words they'll keep using on you. If your meaning of embarrassing is centered around what outsiders would think seeing a fully grown man still living in his parents house, and how would they feel about you most especially females. That shouldn't bother you provided you have a reasonable job. You can always move out when you're ready to get married. |
pocohantas:Child abuse would continue until the government officially makes it a crime for adults to bring in children below 18 to serve as house helps, and enforce the law by jailing adults who defile it. Alternatively, the women affairs commissioner can raise awareness concerning it until the bill gets approved in the Senate. Until then, we'll still be reading this kind of news every now and then. Also poor and uneducated people need to be enlightened about what family planning entails. Most would tell you that they can't use condoms on their wife thus exposing their Ignorance by thinking that condoms are the only family planning method. The solution to this problem is to enlighten people in rural communities. NGOs or even the government should set up subsidized health care centers in these rural communities where experienced health personnel would lecture them on the disadvantages of having children they can't cater for and the need to start family planning. If you don't educate and enlighten them, they won't know. They'll keep on putting babies they can't cater for in their wife's womb thus exposing those innocent kids to child abuse. |
Mumben:I scanned it with Google lense...it's a viper. And if you must know, vipers are highly venomous snakes. I'll suggest you clear the bushes around your house and make sure that unwanted old trees at chopped down. This would keep them far from your house. |
I'll build 3-4 blocks (4 stories each) of 3 bedroom flats with lockup shops in front. When I collect the rent for all of them, I'll japa and use it to setup myself. If things don't go as planned overseas, I have something to fall back to here in Nigeria. So I'll never be broke. |
