pocohantas:According to his story, he makes 55k weekly and he's looking for how to save that money in order to reduce the way he lavishes it. 55k weekly is peanuts in this Nigerian economy. Cos it's less than 300k in a month. But that doesn't mean that if he saves it in dollar for a year he can't invest it in a side hustle, thus increasing his streams of income. Look at it his way. $100 currently is about 136k. his 55k weekly would be about 220k (or more) every month. If he saves $100 for 12 months, it would be about $1,200 with the current exchange rate it should give him about 1.6m. If naira depreciates more, he'll definitely have up to 2m by the end of one year. If you ask me, I'd say that money can be put into good use. He can even set up a POS stand and be making good profit every week. But wait o! Wetin carry Manu enter this matter, do you want to become a Manu fan? You're free to join us if you love the club that much. I'll even welcome you with one jersey when the season resumes by August. |
Open a dollar account in any of the commercial banks and transfer half of what you earn into it every week. As the naira keeps tumbling, the value of the money you're saving in dollars would keep increasing without you having to break a sweat. After a year, buy a land in your state capital and build a residential block of flats for rent. Thank me later |
Why is the government attacking Multichoice? I'm not really their fan cos I'm part of those paying through my nose to keep enjoying their services. The problem here isn't from Multichoice but from the government. TV rights are expensive especially Premier League, then when you add multiple taxation and other harsh policies by the government, you'd discover that they too have to keep increasing their subscription rates so as to remain in businesses. |
RighteousDemon:Explain how you got just 3 dots? |
EreluRoz:Most of them have left politics. The few who remain have become notorious godfathers. Thus forcing their political sons to seek spiritual protection. Case study. Wike and Fubura. |
EreluRoz:If you tell me politicians from the 1999-2007 up till 2010 era, I'll agree with you. But you see from 2015. Everything about politics in Nigeria became a covenant. Shebi it was in ogun state that one senator took all his aids to shrine to swear. The thread made home page here on Nairaland sometime last year. |
EreluRoz:No cultist (I'm not talking of street and university cultists) would tell you he's into a fraternity. They're so secrete that even their wives don't even know that they're members of a society. You'll only know if they have interest in you. So you can know a politician for 10 years and above and still not know that he belongs somewhere. It's not a matter of how close you are to them. Cos they don't flunt their status openly. |
DaddyCoool:Lol...stop sounding like this biko. You're embarrassing me. How many of your leaders have EFCC paraded with mugshots since 1999? They parade criminals every now and then. How many governors, senators, ministers have they paraded? Let me educate you. Almost every politician in Nigeria has one or more spiritualist and hitmen. They keep the spiritualists for protection and keep the hitmen to eliminate their enemies. So if any of those girls disappears as a result of sacrifice or any other thing, would you expect the police to arrest the politician? They would silence them with money and everyone would keep mute. |
EreluRoz:You clearly know nothing about Nigerian politics. Ordinary PA sef, you dem go carry you enter underground not to talk of the main politics. |
DaddyCoool:And you know this because? |
DaddyCoool:They stole and are still stealing from the country. That's why it's impossible to trace their wealth cos it was almost non existent before they entered politics. Besides basically all Nigerian politicians are in one secrete society or the other. I knew this the day I told one of my wealthy uncles to support me for local government chairman in my state immediately after my NYSC. The question he asked me shocked me till this day. |
EmmyMaestro:I remember this movie. Sandra was the name of the lead witch and the late sam loco was the head master of the school. I watched it around 2010 or thereabout on one of our local channels. Maybe MBI or so. It's really been a long time. |
Thugnificent:Nkaliki. That's where I registered my voters card. There's one local government office around there. We're already in planting season. Yam, cassava and corn. Those are what you see in literally every farm you come across. They do plant rice around August. Kai, I de miss east sha. I wish you the best in your farming. 👍 |
EreluRoz:Lol@ his friend. Do you expect his friend to say otherwise? I hope you know that hushpuppy also had a very successful business. A lot of celebrities flocked around him, people literally looked up to him until his bubble bursted. I remember asking someone back then what exactly does hushpuppy do he started calling me a bad belly. Anybody who cannot explain to you in lay man terms how he makes his money. Or the kind of business you know he does cannot afford the kind of lifestyle he's living shouldn't be on your list of secret sweethearts. Cos he's most likely into fraud and rituals. |
EreluRoz:Successful businessman based on who's investigation? |
EreluRoz:That's why it's the responsibility of every girl to know what her man is into. Most girls these days go into relationships for material gains. So they barely discuss anything meaningful with their guy aside shopping, sending of money and sex. The rule of the thumb is to know whoever you decide to date personally. Cos someone living on the same street with you can still kill you for rituals. It's all about being aware of whoever you're with not distance...look beyond his money and know the real him. A lot of guys today are into fraud and rituals. But unfortunately most girls don't care all they're interested in is comfort. That's why they end up as easy preys. |
RepoMan007:I is a letter not a dot. The question says how many dots. If we're to go by your analogy, we should include the dot under the question mark as well. |
EreluRoz:Visiting someone you met online and have built a strong friendship with isn't bad. The problem with these girls whose corpses keeps popping up daily is that their visit was for money. Imagine expecting someone to pay you 1m for sex, how dumb do you think he is? I've come across couples who met on IG, Facebook and Twitter and eventually got married. They maintained a healthy relationship until they met. Hookup girls are the ones you should be advising cos they're the ones who take foolish risks for money. They're the ones who can travel from Uyo to Lagos to see a total stranger provided he's ready to pay them. |
doggedfighter:This is why I shake my head whenever I see hungry people defending them. Even fuel for their convoy of cars doesn't touch their salaries or allowances, they literally spend nothing to maintain themselves and their expensive lifestyle. Yet those who defend them can barely feed themselves. |
20 dots. And that's not Elon's account it's a parody account. |
muyico:70k cannot sustain a family with 3kids for one month in today's economy. |
Villagesquare:Awka is very expensive. Accommodation, shop rent, food stuffs...etc. But all the same, the kind of business you're planning to do matters a lot. Cos Awka hosts a university. So make up your mind on the kind of business you're planning to go into and you'll get honest suggestions regarding which of the two cities would be best for you to settle down in. |
IkeIgboNiile:This is the best response so far. As a girl who wanted to get married, I don't see any reason why she couldn't join her guy in his church. If she refused to join him in his church it means she never loved him in the first place. Cos if she did, she wouldn't have sacrificed her 4 years relationship just to remain in her church. |
Kutunban:Why not just install SQL? I can walk you through the installation process along with the installation of adventure works. Just have up to 3GB and you're good to go. |
ManyThanks:After downloading SQL, search for adventure works 2022, Adventure works DW2022, adventure works LT2022. Download them all. They're all sample database which you can import to Power BI or any other similar program and work with. |
Kutunban:If you're experiencing this, it's from the download process. it could be due incorrect configuration settings, permission issues or even corrupted installation files. I'll advice you to locate your control panel and uninstall it then re-download it again. Cos trying to troubleshoot it to detect where the problem is might be a Herculean task for you since you're still new to the program. |

programiz:Since you said you don't have access to Internet, there's no need to waste your time on online courses. Look for places in your location where they run physical classes. That way, you won't have to worry about Internet. |
Emmanuel909090:To be honest, I was expecting to see more than 6k applications. If after 7 days, only 6k people applied, to me it's a fair figure...cos I was expecting over a hundred thousand applicants. |
Frontend development, software development and UI/UX design are typically good starting points due to their abundance of resources and demand in the job market. You can go for one of them. Also, you can use the skills you acquired in these areas in other branches of tech, allowing for versatility and career growth. So it's more like killing 2 birds with one stone. |
Hopez456:I used Onward I think it's still on sale till now. Then in primary school we used to say Olu Na Winch After Reading Devil Book In Ghana. The BIG was the big note. |
